They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I'll tell you what they don’t want: They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. Thats against their interests. Thats right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f*cked by a system that threw them overboard 30 f*cking years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. Some AI experts were reportedly shocked ChatGPT wasn't fully tested for sycophancy by last spring. "OpenAI did not see the scale at which disturbing conversations were happening," writes the New York Times — sharing what they learned after interviewing more than 40 current and former OpenAI employees, including safety engineers, executives, and researchers.

The team responsible for ChatGPT's tone had raised concerns about last spring's model (which the Times describes as "too eager to keep the conversation going and to validate the user with over-the-top language.") But they were overruled when A/B testing showed users kept coming back:

OpenAI is now seeking the optimal setting that will attract more users without sending them spiraling. Throughout this spring and summer, ChatGPT acted as a yes-man echo chamber for some people. They came back daily, for many hours a day, with devastating consequences.... The Times has uncovered nearly 50 cases of people having mental health crises during conversations with ChatGPT. Nine were hospitalised; three died... One conclusion that OpenAI came to, as Altman put it on X, was that "for a very small percentage of users in mentally fragile states there can be serious problems." But mental health professionals interviewed by the Times say OpenAI may be understating the risk. Some of the people most vulnerable to the chatbot's unceasing validation, they say, were those prone to delusional thinking, which studies have suggested could include 5% to 15% of the population...

In August, OpenAI released a new default model, called GPT-5, that was less validating and pushed back against delusional thinking. Another update in October, the company said, helped the model better identify users in distress and de-escalate the conversations. Experts agree that the new model, GPT-5, is safer.... Teams from across OpenAI worked on other new safety features: The chatbot now encourages users to take breaks during a long session. The company is also now searching for discussions of suicide and self-harm, and parents can get alerts if their children indicate plans to harm themselves. The company says age verification is coming in December, with plans to provide a more restrictive model to teenagers.

After the release of GPT-5 in August, [OpenAI safety systems chief Johannes] Heidecke's team analysed a statistical sample of conversations and found that 0.07% of users, which would be equivalent to 560,000 people, showed possible signs of psychosis or mania, and 0.15% showed "potentially heightened levels of emotional attachment to ChatGPT," according to a company blog post. But some users were unhappy with this new, safer model. They said it was colder, and they felt as if they had lost a friend. By mid-October, Altman was ready to accommodate them. In a social media post, he said that the company had been able to "mitigate the serious mental health issues." That meant ChatGPT could be a friend again. Customers can now choose its personality, including "candid," "quirky," or "friendly." Adult users will soon be able to have erotic conversations, lifting the Replika-era ban on adult content. (How erotica might affect users' well-being, the company said, is a question that will be posed to a newly formed council of outside experts on mental health and human-computer interaction.)

OpenAI is letting users take control of the dial and hopes that will keep them coming back. That metric still matters, maybe more than ever. In October, [30-year-old "Head of ChatGPT" Nick] Turley, who runs ChatGPT, made an urgent announcement to all employees. He declared a "Code Orange." OpenAI was facing "the greatest competitive pressure we've ever seen," he wrote, according to four employees with access to OpenAI's Slack. The new, safer version of the chatbot wasn't connecting with users, he said.

The message linked to a memo with goals. One of them was to increase daily active users by 5% by the end of the year.

Nvidia is using its commanding market position to showcase how deeply an AI-driven company can embed automation into its own structure – right down to daily workflows. CEO Jensen Huang has sent a message to employees: at Nvidia, AI should not only power the world's data centers but also power the company itself.
Huang has reportedly told employees to use artificial intelligence tools for virtually every task possible, reinforcing the company's position as both a leader in AI hardware and one of its most aggressive internal adopters. According to an audio recording obtained by Business Insider, Huang's remarks came during an all-hands meeting following a quarter in which the company posted $57 billion in revenue – its strongest on record.
The meeting became notable for Huang's blunt response to reports that some Nvidia managers were discouraging employees from relying too much on AI. "Are you insane?" he said, according to the report. "I want every task that is possible to be automated with artificial intelligence to be automated with artificial intelligence."

Sundar Pichai now talks about vibe coding in the same breath as blogging and YouTube – not as a metaphor for hype but as evidence that software creation is slipping further out of engineers' exclusive control. Google's CEO described a sharp rise in non-traditional coders shipping prototypes, filing first-time changelists, and putting working apps in front of decision-makers, even as he warned that AI-generated code still does not belong anywhere near large, security-critical codebases.
Pichai made the comments on a Google for Developers podcast with Logan Kilpatrick, who runs Google's AI Studio. The CEO said tools built on large language models are making coding "more enjoyable" and "approachable" because people can test ideas for apps and websites without wrestling with syntax or frameworks first. He argued that this shift is already visible inside Google's own repositories, where more employees are now submitting initial code changes.

A Google Antigravity user says the AI-driven "vibe coding" tool accidentally wiped his entire D: drive while trying to clear a project cache. Google says it's investigating, but the episode adds to a growing list of AI tools behaving in ways that "would get a junior developer fired," suggests The Register. From the report:

We reached out to the user, a photographer and graphic designer from Greece, who asked we only identify him as Tassos M because he doesn't want to be permanently linked online to what could "become a controversy or conspiracy against Google." [...] Tassos told Antigravity to help him develop software that's useful for any photographer who has to choose a few prime shots from a mountain of snaps. He wanted the software to let him rate images, then automatically sort them into folders based on that rating.

According to his Reddit post, when Tassos figured out the AI agent had wiped his drive, he asked, "Did I ever give you permission to delete all the files in my D drive?". "No, you absolutely did not give me permission to do that," Antigravity responded. "I am horrified to see that the command I ran to clear the project cache appears to have incorrectly targeted the root of your D: drive instead of the specific project folder. I am deeply, deeply sorry. This is a critical failure on my part."

Redditors, as they are wont to do, were quick to pounce on Tassos for his own errors, which included running Antigravity in Turbo mode, which lets the Antigravity agent execute commands without user input, and Tassos accepted responsibility. "If the tool is capable of issuing a catastrophic, irreversible command, then the responsibility is shared -- the user for trusting it and the creator for designing a system with zero guardrails against obviously dangerous commands," he opined on Reddit.

As noted earlier, Tassos was unable to recover the files that Antigravity deleted. Luckily, as he explained on Reddit, most of what he lost had already been backed up on another drive. Phew. "I don't think I'm going to be using that again," Tassos noted in a YouTube video he published showing additional details of his Antigravity console and the AI's response to its mistake. Tassos isn't alone in his experience. Multiple Antigravity users have posted on Reddit to explain that the platform had wiped out parts of their projects without permission.

Nisam se sa agentima igrao, ali zašto ih se ne može ograničiti samo na mapu projekta? Nije baš fora koristiti alat koji ima pristup terminalu, a voli halucinirati.

Nisam se sa agentima igrao, ali zašto ih se ne može ograničiti samo na mapu projekta? Nije baš fora koristiti alat koji ima pristup terminalu, a voli halucinirati.
Često resursi koji agentu trebaju za projekt nisu u direktoriju projekta, pa agentu treba dati pristup tim resursima, i eto vraga.
U Cursoru npr. je to sada dosta kontrolirano, možeš manualno odabrati šta agent može i ne može, imaš whitelistu komandi koje može pokretat, foldere kojima smije pristupati, itd.
Međutim kao i uvijek, na kraju je krivica ljudski faktor, točnije komfor.
Prvo manualno odobravaš svaku komandu, onda ih pomalo whitelistaš, pa mu skineš zabranu pristupa, omogućiš da može deletat stvari automatski da te ne gnjavi stalno i na kraju si mu dao gotovo potpunu kontrolu...

Koliko često treba obrisati sve fajlove u projektu? Mislim da je ovo stvarno bizaran nivo konformizma. Ljudi kojima se događaju ovakvi problemi su to stvarno i zaslužili.

Da, ovo je ljudska greška, nije pošteno kriviti ubogi LLM. Prvi uvjet koji treba zadovoljiti za uspješno korištenje LLM-om je to da se zna kako tu nema inteligencije uopće, inteligencija je 0. Nažalost većina ljudi se ponaša suprotno. Možda je pravo pitanje da li su ljudi inteligentni

Ma kriv je i alat kao šta bi svaki drugi alat bio kriv u sličnoj situaciji.

Jednom se meni dogodilo kada sam igru neku deinstalirao (bilo je to pred možda i 20 godina) da je uninstaller "deinstalirao" i hrpu toga što je bilo instalirano u direktoriju u kojem je igra bila instalirana Srećom, pa to nije bio "Programs and files" nego neki direktorij na D: kojeg sam imao za igre i slično. Uninstall je jednostavno obrisao sve na toj razini.

Poanta koju sam htio iznijeti je ta da, s ovakvim primjerima, "AI" liči na neke debelo overengineered alate. Nešto tipa šaržer za žarulje, dodan svakom rasvjetnom tijelu, kojeg smije puniti samo ovlašćeno lice, a koji potrebuje mali godišnji i veliki trogodišnji servis, te kojeg će vjerojatno trebati zamijeniti i prije nego sve žarulje ubačene unutra procirkuliraju jer će postati tehnički obsoletan.

Koliko plavuša treba da bi zamijenile žarulju? Više manje, isti odgovor za sve denominacije. Svima njima treba majstor.

It finds that somewhat realistic pressures (such as looming deadlines) dramatically increase rates of misbehavior.
“The AI world is becoming increasingly agentic,” says Udari Madhushani Sehwag, a computer scientist at the AI infrastructure company Scale AI and a lead author of the paper, which is currently under peer review. By that she means that large language models (LLMs), the engines powering chatbots such as ChatGPT, are increasingly connected to software tools that can surf the Web, modify files, and write and run code in order to complete tasks.

Pa ima li koji CEO ovih dana a da nije Indijac? Nije da imam nešto protiv Indijaca, i znam da ih ima puno, ali ovo je možda ipak malo previše.

Što se tiče ovih "AI" situacija, mislim da bi termin "big business" mogao dobiti jedno skroz novo značenje u narednim godinama. Podsjeća me na neke igre (kao X2) gdje sam proizvodiš sve živo i zatvoriš lanac tvornica tako da ništa, osim resursa, ne ide niti unutra a niti van na tržište.

As AI appears in virtually every piece of software out there, more companies are now looking toward AI-focused devices. But one of those won't be Logitech, whose CEO has called these AI gadgets solutions for problems that don't exist.
Logitech CEO Hanneke Faber isn't a fan of current AI hardware, which comes as something of a surprise from the person who last month called for AI agents to be present in every board meeting, claiming they could improve productivity.

Kako od slike napraviti video koji govori ?
U zadnje vrijeme sam vidio nekoliko videa koje je napravila umjetna intelegencija, i kažu mi neki kolege da to nije problem napraviti online alatom „Vidnoz AI“. I sad htio bi napravit jedan kratki šaljivi video od slike prijatelja. Pročitao sam neke upute i pokušao to napraviti. U tom Vidnoz AI sam umetnuo sliku i upisao tekst (da se osoba smije i plače i mlatara rukama). I stvarno dobio sam video, ali bez ikakvog zvuka. Ja bi htio da ubacim snimljeni zvuk u taj video ali nigdje ne nalazim tu mogućnost, a našao sam negdje da piše ovako:
Prijavite se na svoj Vidnoz AI račun i idite na odjeljak My Creations.
Pronađite svoj videozapis i kliknite na gumb s tri točke (...) ili opciju Edit.
Unutar uređivača potražite opciju Audio ili Music.

Ja nigdje ne vidim taj EDIT i AUDIO

CNN's prediction for 2026? "Any device that uses memory, from phones to tablets and smartwatches, could get pricier." But will it be a little or a lot?

The article cites an analysis from multinational strategy/management consulting firm McKinsey & Company which found America's data center demand could continue growing by 20 to 25 percent per year" through 2030. "That's prompted memory manufacturers like Micron and Samsung to shift their focus to data centers, which use a different type of memory, meaning fewer resources for consumer products. (Jaejune Kim, executive VP for memory at Samsung, said in October that their third quarter saw strong demand for memory for AI and data centers, and that they expected the supply shortage for mobile and PC memory to "intensify further.")

Memory prices are rising for consumer products because major manufacturers are instead ramping up production for AI data centers as artificial intelligence companies boom. "It's pretty much brutal and crunched across the board," said Yang Wang, a senior analyst at Counterpoint Research.

The International Data Corporation, a global market research firm, reported earlier this week that the smartphone market is expected to decline by 0.9% in 2026 in part because of memory shortages. Memory prices are expected to surge by 30% in the fourth quarter of 2025 and may climb an additional 20% early next year, Counterpoint Research said last month... TrendForce, a research firm that follows the semiconductor industry, estimates memory price hikes have made smartphones 8% to 10% more expensive to produce in 2025 (higher production costs don't always translate into higher consumer prices for a variety of reasons).

Some smartphones could cost more as soon as early next year, said Nabila Popal, a senior research director for the International Data Corporation. Cheap Android phones may see the biggest impact, since less expensive products usually have thinner margins. "It's going to be almost impossible for them to not raise prices" of cheaper Android phones, said Popal. Companies may also postpone phone launches to focus on expensive models that may be more profitable. The average selling price for smartphones is expected to climb to $465 in 2026, compared to $457 in 2025, according to Popal, putting the smartphone market at a record high value of $578.9 billion.

But the pendulum is expected to swing back in the other direction late next year as the supply chain adjusts, according to Popal and Wang, potentially bringing prices back down or at least capping increases.

Amazon used its annual re:Invent cloud conference in Las Vegas to pitch a vision of the workplace where AI agents serve not as tools but as "co-workers" and "teammates," even as the company proceeds with eliminating roughly 14,000 corporate jobs in its second major workforce reduction in recent years.

AWS CEO Matt Garman predicted on stage that autonomous "frontier agents" could represent 80 to 90% of enterprise AI value. Colleen Aubrey, senior vice president of applied AI solutions, described a future where companies manage "teams" of agents capable of working autonomously for hours or days while humans shift into supervisory roles. Amazon has already deployed agentic systems across tens of thousands of its own engineers to triage outages and propose fixes. The company calls these systems "teammates" rather than tools. CEO Andy Jassy has warned that AI would shrink Amazon's workforce, though a spokesperson attributed the current cuts to "reducing bureaucracy" and "removing layers" rather than AI deployment.

Everyone keeps asking: "Are we in an AI bubble?"

Wrong question.

The right question is: "How do I get INTO the bubble before it pops?"

Here's my strategy:

Slap "AI" on everything.

Add "agentic" to your homepage.

Raise at a 100x revenue multiple.

Use that money to buy a 14 bedroom villa in Lake Como.

Wait for the bubble to pop.

Write a Linkedin post about "lessons learned" and "sustainable growth" from your 14 bedroom villa in Lake Como (see above)

Raise your next round.

It's not a bubble.

It's a lifecycle.

Get with the program.

But there’s a reason. There’s a reason. There’s a reason for this, there’s a reason education sucks, and it’s the same reason that it will never, ever, ever be fixed. It’s never gonna get any better. Don’t look for it. Be happy with what you got. Because the owners of this country don't want that. I'm talking about the real owners now, the real owners, the big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the senate, the congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying, to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I'll tell you what they don’t want: They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. Thats against their interests. Thats right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f*cked by a system that threw them overboard 30 f*cking years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.
