Probao sam pogledati original, ali ne ide. Ako ova moderno reizdanje ide još i na gore, onda ću vjerojatno odustati. Cijela serija potrebuje jedan ozbiljan recut.

They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f*cked by a system that threw them overboard 30 f*cking years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Kod takvih stvari je bitno da si gledao tada, pa te to vrati natrag. Kao npr. Red Dwarf, koji danas izgleda opsceno. Dobro, to je i devedesetih izgledalo smiješno ali gledalo se na veliko. Svako toliko opet pogledam.

Dwarf je nešto drugo. Njega sam pogledao pred par g ponovo kad je izašlo ono novo. Izgleda koma, al je zabavan za pogledat.

Loki mi nije sjeo, malo pretjerano.
Barbarians me ugodno iznenadio, europska serija. Gluma nije na razini amera, ali mi je priča bila dobra. Kasnije u drugoj sezoni pada kvaliteta, ali i nema puno epizoda tako da je sasvim ok za odgledati.

Kad spominjete te starije SF serije, ja sam nedavno ponovio DS9 i moram priznati da mi je trebalo par epizoda da se privknem, ali svjedno mi je odlična i dalje.

Pročitao sam Murderbot, tako da sam spreman za seriju, ta knjiga koju sam pročitao zapravo sadrži prvih 4-5 priča, a serija obuhvaća samo tu prvu priču. Po traileru koliko sam vidio serija izgleda jako blizu knjige, ali pogledam pa vidim koliko je serija dobra.

Meni nije baš. Murderbot, njegova gluma, komentari, razmišljanja su dobra, zabavna. Al' ostali woke likovi su preloši, loša gluma, komentari... Ono baš bezveze.

Moram priznati da nisam primijetio da je knjiga bila woke...ili sam oguglao na to.
Ali knjiga je dosta dobra, njegova razmišljanja su zapravo baš dobra zezancija i priča ide u dobrom smjeru, kao da je autorica unaprijed smislila tjek tih kratkih priča koje će na kraju biti jedna veća a opet napeta priča. A probam seriju, pa vidim kako će mi sjesti.

U početku mi te woke fore nisu smetale, ali pomalo mi lagano smetuckaju da se fino izrarzim. Pretjerali su, svi općenito.

Dal' je u knjizi svaki član posade druge rase, lgbt i sl?

Njegova razmišljanja i u seriji su najbolji dio al' kad se prebaci radnja na posadu onda je gluma u Predstava Hamleta u Mrduši Donjoj puno bolja.
