Driver za AMD64 X2 3800+
Zanima me jedana stvar u vezi drivera Cool'n'Quiet. Naime posto sam ubacil novi proc dvojezgreni x2 3800+ dali treba instalirati i taj driver.Probal sam ga instaliraiti i kada ga podesim kako kaze u uputi onda mi u system opcijama pokazuje da radi na 1ghz a ne na 2. naravno to se samo dogadja kad se u power opcijama stavi na minimal power use. A cim se prebaci na home/office onda ga cita normalo na 2ghz. I jos sam primjetio da u Cpu-z mi cita da je mnozitelj postavljen na 5x a bez tog drivera normalno na 10x. Inace ploca je Abit An8.Dali netko zna vise kaj o tome i dali je uputno staviti windowse 64 bitne? Naravno namjena mashine je igranje. Hvala na pomoci.

64 bitni vindovsi još pate od nedostatka drivera za razne komponente i ja ih ne bi stavljao. Dovoljan ti je i XP.

Driver ti sluzi za ukljucivanje C&Q opcije za konzervaciju energije i manje grijanje.
Dobro je ako ne OCas procesor jer ti radi na duplo manjem taktu kad je idle, pa se manje grije i manje trosi struje.

Taj driver je potreban samo ako ces koristit Cool'n'Quiet, a to ti je dobro recimo za laptop da se smanji zagrijavanje itd... Morao bi imat u opcijama bios-a za on/off Cool'n'Quiet jer mislim da ti nije potreban. Pozdrav

Crypto, fino si se apgrejdao nakon onog Venica To sto ti se dogadja ti je potpuno normalno, jer tome "driver" za procesor i sluzi. Lupi "Cool'n'quiet" u Google i dobit ces hrpu objasnjenja sto i kako to radi Uzivaj u dvojezgrenosti

Kako su tidrugi već napisali što je CnQ i ostalo samo dajem glas da ga nema smisla instalirati...

Zašto ne ?
Uvijek ga možeš isključiti u BIOS-u ili jednostavno staviti PowerScheme na 'Allways On' a dobro dođe ako ti komp radi 24/7. Možeš staviti i neki program tipa RMclock pa ga s njim fino podešavati CnQ ...

in mint condition,
still in the box.
He wants every item on the planet that is even remotely related to Ultraman.
Because Ultraman is Airwolf!

He could give a squirt of piss
about sports or politics or rhetoric.
Such things are of no consequence to him.
What matters is the release date of the next Lord of the Rings movie!

You see, The Geek can’t wait.
The Geek has no patience.
He wants what he wants when he wants it.
And all he wants is stupid shit!

He wants his own Tardis.
He wants his own light saber.
He wants to buy a DeLorean and he wants to drive it 88 miles per hour.

He wants movies.
He wants to see the Director’s Cut.
He wants the impossible to find Japanese bootleg with
6 minutes of never-before-seen footage.

He wants to watch Blade Runner. Again.
He wants to watch Brazil. Again.
He wants to watch A Clockwork Orange.

...ali zato što TI ne vidiš korisnost toga ne znači da je nema... recimo tišina, puno je lakše ohladiti proc kad mu je spušten clock... kad ti npr komp radi cijelu noć možeš mirne duše pogasiti ventove ili ih spustiti na 5V i mirno spavati... pametnome dosta

Mislim da smo dosta zagađivali thread o tome...

Btw ne držim komp upaljen po noći pa me taj aspekt niti ne zanima a k tome CnQ niti ne radi kod mene dok je proc OC-an...

Btw ne držim komp upaljen po noći pa me taj aspekt niti ne zanima a k tome CnQ niti ne radi kod mene dok je proc OC-an...
E da imas FLAT (jos dok je bila ona akcija 2 mjeseca naravno ) i masina ti skida radi 24/7 vidio bi sto tak nekaj znaci! Ja sam svojeg Codegena 480X skoro scijepao sa sjekirom jer je bio prehebeno glasan

Slažem se da CnQ nema neke koristi, ali upotreba RM Clock utility-a može biti fenomenalna.
Ti si OC-er, i to vidim, proc ide dao 2400Mhz vjerojatno na defolt-u od 1.4V. Ali garant ti ne treba ta snaga cijelo vrijeme. Tako da fino sa RM-om staviš da ti proc kad je u idle-u radi na 1.1V i npr. 1800Mhz (ili nekoj frekvenciji koja je stabilna za 1.1V). A kada ti radi igranja ili kodiranja videa ili nekog trećeg razloga zatreba dodatnih 600Mhz onda si sam jednim klikom (ili ti ga program automatski) prebaciš na 1.4V i 2400Mhz.

Napomena - RM ne treba CnQ drivere instalirane ili CnQ omogućen u BIOS-u, a može raditi dok je proc OC-an (to mu je i zapravo namjena)

Hmm baš ću isprobati taj RM clock iako mene ne smeta da proc radi stalno na 100% i da na 1.4V je na dignutm naponu ide i više...

Ali treba i ploču ovevltat jer nemože pdnjeti više od 270 na stock naponima...

Imao sam flat i bio mi je stalno upaljen komp tih mjesec i nešto dana i nije me pretjerano smetao ali onda sam još imao stari Tbred a ne ovaj A64...

Doduše razina buke je tu negdje jednog i drugog iako ovaj ima veći protok zraka zbog ventova koje sam na njega zgurao pa se čuje ono lagano šištanje zraka na rešetkama dok prolazi...
Naravno kad je tišina u sobi...
