Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.252 (Cat 6.5)

Well, first I would like to apologize to all my fans, I was taking a short recess from the Internet to take care of real life issues with my family, heck, even my WoW time got compromised, so that's why I didn't released a 6.4 version of the Radeon Omega Drivers. In the end I decided to skip the 6.4 and just wait for the 6.5 official drivers to be released to start working on the Omega Drivers again.

Also, I finally decided to upgrade my technologically impaired PC for something that will last me a little while (wife has not seen the new bank balance yet, so I expect WWIII when it arrives at the end of the month), the new specs are in the ABOUT section if anyone is interested.

So, as you may have guessed, the new Omega Drivers based on the Catalyst 6.5 are ready!

Go to the ATI Radeon section and take a look at the Readme while downloading so you know the latest changes, additions to this set and some important notes.

[*] Based on the Catalyst 6.5 Official drivers.
[*] Some resolutions where not showing for some reason, so I re-made the code for them, now every available resolution for your monitor should show up (as long as you have the proper Monitor INF installed).

[+] Added support for x1k Mobility series and some yet unreleased desktop cards.
[*] Updated the integrated Control Panel to v6.14.10.5183


Known Issues:
1) Some of the settings for both D3D & OGL will not be synchronized between ATT and the normal ATI CP, you must only use one of them to make changes, the best option is to use ATT since the ATI CP does not support changes to AI and in order to use the advanced D3D/OGL features. Changes made in ATT will work on games and such but the changes will not be reflected in the normal ATI CP since ATI stores the registry values that the CP reads separate from the actual values in the registry.

Important Info:
Since these drivers include a non-standard version of ATT, I would recommend that if you have any previous version of ATT installed, please uninstall it before installing these drivers, not doing so may cause unknown problems.

Well, the missing file was a mistake in my part (the rush), sorry about that guys, is a configuration file for the integrated CP, so it doesn't affect the drivers AT ALL, just in case I fixed it, added the file again to the installer and re-uploaded it.

If you want the new file please re-download from the mirrors on my site, those already have the updated file available.

Jer mi je pun k***c drivera...instaliram 6.3 Chuch drivere za Oblivion-navečer izađu novi za 6.5

Pa briši stare, stavljaj nove...pričekat ću dan-dva da vidim reakcije prvo.

Imam Omege 6.3,rade dobro,i fakat mi se neda mijenjat drivere ko čarape,pa i češće...

Ati jednom mjesečno (ko ja sex ) ,ako koristiš omegu zna biti i rijeđe(evo 6.4 preskočio npr.) tako daaaaa-gadno Ti noge smrde : evil :

Ati x1600pro AGP-Stavio sam nove omega drv. i rade sasvim ok,ali ni u njima ni u verzijama prije nisam uspio uključiti opciju overclocinga u ATT.Do sada nije radilo podešavanje vent.i temp.,a sa ovim drv.sve radi jedino overclo. ne radi,Kod instalacije te pita da li želiš isključiti opciju overc.zbog kompatibilnosti sa programima ,a ja sam stisao NE i to je trebalo uključiti occ,ali i dalje ne radi!
Da li je još netko imao sličnih problema?Naručito sa X1x00 serijom!


P.S.:Sa zadnjim beta ati tools sve radi ok,ali oni nemaju opcije za podešavanje slike pa bih si ja ostavio ATT.

Pa odkad je izašla Xxxx serija ATT nema podršku za overclock istih...samo kontrola fana i temp. monitoring.

Ja ostajem na 6.3 rade dobro i stabilno i to je to, svi noviji driveri su ionak orjentirani na x1xxx serije a za ove stare kao moja i stariji driveri rade ok

Meni je malo pomogao - kada sam stavio originalne drivere s cd-a koji je došao s grafom, kod dizanja obavezno mi se pojavio prozorčić u kojem je pisalo nešto o nekoj greški. Od kada sam stavio ovu verziju, prozorčića više nema. : goood :

Da zato sta omega koristi klasicni Control panel a ti si instalirao drajvere sa cd ukljucujuci catalyst control centar i pri tome zaboravija intalirat .net aplikaciju..(pretpostavljam) otud taj magični prozorčić!

Imao sam ja već instaliran .Net 2.0, što su driveri i 'vidjeli' pa mi nisu ponudili instalaciju .Net 1.1 sa cd-a.

Da ne otvaram novi thread, evo ovjde ću.

Dakle, imam problema s instalacijom Omega drivera.

Naime, obrisao sam Display Drivers iz Add/Remove i sve vezano uz catalyste (control c, hydravision i slične gluposti). Restart sistema, ulazak u safe mod, pokretanje Driver Cleanera, odvrtio Cab Cleaner, odvrtio clean s izabranim "ATI" filterom, pobrisao sve iz recycle bina (iako se ništa novo nije pojavilo?). Restartao, ušao normalno u windoze i oni su mi sami instalirali driver za grafu, nikako nisam mogao to prekinuti. Nakon toga sam ja pokrenuo instalaciju omega, sve instalirao, restart i... BSOD! U smislu da je hardware krivo instaliran i da treba otići u safe mode i tamo srediti stvari.

Kada bih drivere, nakon što sam pobrisao stare s driver cleanerom i restartao, instalirao iz safe moda, u sljedećem restartu bi opet windowsi instalirali svoje drivere (valjda preko omega drivera). Tada ne bih mogao ući u control panel koji su stvorili omega driver (shortcut ima krivu putanju), a u device manageru bi verzija drivera bila 6.14.xxx (znači Catalyst).

U čemu je problem?

frANZi ima jos jedna stvar sta je dobro napravit a nije navedena u postu...u safe modu (kada si vec prethodno maknu drivere) ajde Devise manager i tamo Uninstalaj display adaptere i tek onda pocni rad sa driver cleanerom kako vec jesi...

Nisi trebao brisati display driver,nego samo CCC ako si imao i onaj Control Panel;a display driver se ostavlja
Onda se na njega instalira Omega...

Ajde jel može neko objasniti točan postupak instalacije. Jel se trebaju omega driveri instalirati u safe modu ili u običnom, jel se treba brisati s driver cleanerom...

frANZi..nemoj komplicirat stvari kad nije potriba...drajvere uvik stavljas u nonsafe modu a za sigurno micanje nako sat si ih ukonija u istome maknes ih opet u safe modu da ne ostanu repovi tu ti dobro dode driver cleaner...
