Samo ti po svome udaraj, johnny boy, očito dobro napreduje.

neo, problem sa 8GB VRAM na računalu koje koristiš je što je to zapravo 7GB, ostalo troši sistem. Baciti ću oko ne te preporuke koje je stavio tvoj prijatelj, ali mislim da mu, tipično, fali kontekst. Probao sam neke od tih modela i ovaj mi se čini bolji.

Triba probat gemmu 4 navodno je jako dobra lokalno, koristili su neku kompresiju i ima vise modela, navodno gemma 4 31B parametara ima performanse ko chatgpt 4.1 1.7T parametara a model ima 50tak gb, što za takav kapacitet nije strasno ako je stvarno tako.

Isto tako je google ispalio i svoje neke modele puno manje E4B i E2B koji su i multi modalni, nisam se stigao igrati, ali navodno novi breakthrough for this week

Da, zato mu smanjuješ context dok ne sjedi komforno u VRAMu, ali bojim se da se s tom karticom nećeš usrećiti ni s jednim modelom.
6-7GB će napuniti da pročita jedan kupoprodajni ugovor 🤷🏻

OC, probao sam Gemma 4 E4B kod sebe (i to necenzuriranu verziju) i nisam pretjerano zadovoljan. Meni je bolji ovaj necenzurirani qwen 3.5/claude/opus frankenstein. Ne znam što su mu sve napravili, ali dobro se drži. Vjerojatno bih dobio znatno bolje rezultate u nekim situacijama na većem modelu.

neo, model od 6GB napuni 6GB VRAM čim ga učitaš. Ostane još nešto prostora za kontekst od cca 20k tokena. Tokeni se ne troše toliko brzo tako da "rasprava" može potrajati neko vrijeme i nakon što ubaciš unutra nešto dokumenta, screenshota i sl.

Reasoning modeli vjerojatno malo brže nakrcaju kontekst, ali ako ne drobe previše (kao defaultni qwen, npr.), manje se zakrči a i prije dobiješ odgovor. Recimo ako bacim neki pojam koji je nepoznat defaultnom qwen, onda krene raspravljati, isteže se iz petnih žila da ti nekako dadne odgovor. Dok ovaj qwen/claude frankenstein odustane ranije i ne lupeta previše. Ako može nešto pretpostaviti, to pretpostavi, kaže ti da pretpostavlja i bok.

Pa opisao sam tip problema. To je bilo praktično kombinacija poznavanja specifične ngspice sintakse i samog feature seta. Mislim da je generalno gledano veća vjerojatnost da modeli, naročito možda reasoning modeli, zaglave na nečemu što možda i ne postoji, ali se uklapa i zvuči kao da bi moglo i trebalo postojati.

Every conversation you have with an AI — every decision, every debugging session, every architecture debate — disappears when the session ends. Six months of work, gone. You start over every time.

Other memory systems try to fix this by letting AI decide what's worth remembering. It extracts "user prefers Postgres" and throws away the conversation where you explained why. MemPalace takes a different approach: store everything, then make it findable.

The Palace — Ancient Greek orators memorized entire speeches by placing ideas in rooms of an imaginary building. Walk through the building, find the idea. MemPalace applies the same principle to AI memory: your conversations are organized into wings (people and projects), halls (types of memory), and rooms (specific ideas). No AI decides what matters — you keep every word, and the structure gives you a navigable map instead of a flat search index.

Raw verbatim storage — MemPalace stores your actual exchanges in ChromaDB without summarization or extraction. The 96.6% LongMemEval result comes from this raw mode. We don't burn an LLM to decide what's "worth remembering" — we keep everything and let semantic search find it.

AAAK (experimental) — A lossy abbreviation dialect for packing repeated entities into fewer tokens at scale. Readable by any LLM that reads text — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, Mistral — no decoder needed. AAAK is a separate compression layer, not the storage default, and on the LongMemEval benchmark it currently regresses vs raw mode (84.2% vs 96.6%). We're iterating. See the note above for the honest status.

Local, open, adaptable — MemPalace runs entirely on your machine, on any data you have locally, without using any external API or services. It has been tested on conversations — but it can be adapted for different types of datastores. This is why we're open-sourcing it.

Evo i ja upalio tu gemmu, zahtjeva precizne parametre btw i radi skroz dobro i vision radi dobro, mislim za model kakav je, i bas sam tio probat i audio dio, i nestalo struje u ulici

@Neo-ST glupo je tako podcjenjivati, pogotovo od strane ne-programera. Koliko sam shvatio, pravi nekakvu igru koristeći AI, i nije bila zadovoljna sa rezultatima, pa je došla na ideju za ovo.

A 17,000-word expose in the New Yorker reveals "several executives connected to OpenAI have expressed ongoing reservations about Altman's leadership." Reporters Ronan Farrow and Andrew Marantz spoke to "a hundred people with firsthand knowledge of how Altman conducts business," including current and former OpenAI employees and board members.

Among other revelations, internal messages from a few years ago show that OpenAI executives and board members "had come to believe that Altman's omissions and deceptions might have ramifications for the safety of OpenAI's products..."

The memos, which we reviewed, have not previously been disclosed in full. They allege that Altman misrepresented facts to executives and board members, and deceived them about internal safety protocols. One of the memos, about Altman, begins with a list headed "Sam exhibits a consistent pattern of . . ." The first item is "Lying"....

In a tense call after Altman's firing, the board pressed him to acknowledge a pattern of deception. "This is just so fucked up," he said repeatedly, according to people on the call. "I can't change my personality." Altman says that he doesn't recall the exchange.... He attributed the criticism to a tendency, especially early in his career, "to be too much of a conflict avoider." But the article also assembled similar stories from throughout Altman's career: - At Altman's earlier startup Loopt, "groups of senior employees, concerned with Altman's leadership and lack of transparency, asked Loopt's board on two occasions to fire him as C.E.O.," according to Keach Hagey, author of the Altman biography The Optimist.

- During Altman's time as president of Y Combinator, "several Silicon Valley investors came to believe that his loyalties were divided. An investor told us that Altman was known to 'make personal investments, selectively, into the best companies, blocking outside investors.'" The article adds that in private, Y Combinator co-founder Paul Graham "has been unambiguous that Altman was removed because of Y.C. partners' mistrust... On one occasion, Graham told Y.C. colleagues that, prior to his removal, 'Sam had been lying to us all the time.'"

- "In a meeting with U.S. intelligence officials in the summer of 2017, he claimed that China had launched an 'A.G.I. Manhattan Project,'" the article points out, "and that OpenAI needed billions of dollars of government funding to keep pace...." But one intelligence official "after looking into the China project, concluded that there was no evidence that it existed: 'It was just being used as a sales pitch.'"

- As California lawmakers considered safety testing for AI model, one legislative aide complained of "increasingly cunning, deceptive behavior from OpenAI". OpenAI later subpoenaed some of the bill's top supporters (and OpenAI critics), in some cases asking for their private communications to investigate whether Elon Musk was funding them. [The article notes an ongoing animosity between Altman and Musk. "When Altman complained on X about a Tesla he'd ordered, Musk replied, 'You stole a non-profit.'"]

And "Multiple prominent investors who have worked with Altman told us that he has a reputation for freezing out investors if they back OpenAI's competitors."

Evo jedno smiješno iskustvo s Emma modelom od 6 i kusur GB. Nije najmanji model, još sam se malo igrao s njime i u nekim se aspektima pokazao bolji od qwen/claude frankenštajna.

Ali ovo jučer neki skroz drugi level. Dakle, igrao sam se nešto bez veze, ajde rekoh da vidim na koje načine mi to može biti korisno. Lupio sam dvadesetak SS nekih lista imena i prezimena, liste koja je sadržavala nešto random duplikata. Pa sam htio to ubaciti Gemmi, da mi napravi tablicu, easy-pesay jelte? Nope.

Prvo sam od svih screenshota napravio jedan PDF i onda ubacio sve odjednom. To nije dobro završilo jer ovi modeli nisu u stanju analizirati grafiku unutar PDFa. OK, još jedan dan još jedna pobjeda.

Ubacim prvo jedan SS i kažem Gemmi da pripremi jednu tablicu s navedenim kolonama i da vodi računa o duplikatima. Detektira 10 kom na prvom SS, pa 10 kom na drugom, pa onda dadnem jedan veći batch od nekoliko SS i kužim da preskače. Vidi sva imena ali tih imena nema na popisu. Pa onda skužim da kada dadneš 5-6 SS obradi samo jedan.

Krenem onda ubacivati iznova jedan po jedan SS i kažem "provjeri šta ti fali i preskoči duplikate". I nakon x iteracija ubacimo sve kao unutra, a popis imena koji je po mom treba biti 153 (uz možda poneki dupli) dođe u Gemme na 180. Kažem da eliminira sve duplikate. Potvrdi da je to kao riješeno. Pogriješio sam što sam rekao broj koji očekujem. Gemma se izvitoperi da nekako dođe do tog broja 153. Garantira da ima 153 a u pozadini košmar.

Kažem ajde sada sve izlistaj. Pa izlista opet preko 180 Onda navedem ja nekoliko duplikata i nakon par iteracija dođe do 110 Kakva lakrdija. Pa onda skužim koja imena fale i pitam šta je sa tim i tim. Ah, da, johme taj je preskočen jer bla bla. Ima ga u tablici pod rednim brojem 102. Ali ako lista range oko 102 na 102 je netko drugi. Pa doda tog kojeg fali u tablicu, ali fali još 40 drugih.

Ispostavi se da sve koji fale ima negdje, ali nisu u toj "glavnoj" tablici nego u nekoj drugoj tablici. Tražio sam da sve tablice koje ima merga, dodijeli nove redne brojeve i onda deduplicira. Jok. Morao bih praktično detektirati ručno svakog koji fali, spomenuti svakog ponaosob i onda tražiti da mi ih doda. A ne želi ni izbaciti sve što ima jer jednostavno ne priznaje da ima nešto dodatno u pozadini.

Nakon nekih 40k tokena sam odustao. Jasno je da bih to isto sam napravio u 15% vremena max i uz 10% truda max. Ali eto, sada sam malo pametniji.

Nadam se da jesi, jer bolje da si nas postedio ovoga sto si napisao.

Inace, https://github.com/datalab-to/surya radi jako dobro i sa hrvatskim. Kada nakacis iznad https://github.com/datalab-to/marker, fali ti samo sed/awk za duplikate, ili kako god volis. Slozio sam si pipeline u sat vremena gdje doslovce skinem PDF s maila/neta, ubacim ga u folder i nakon vrlo kratko vremena ga imam arhiviranog, OCR-anog, izvucenu metadatu (gdje tek onda recimo dam Gemmi4 da napravi kontekst, tagove i slicno) i jos 10 stvari.

Ako ces testirati, evo ti odmah hint:

Raditi snapshot i OCR svega na webu se ne čini baš kao najefikasniji način pristupanja internetu. A ovo da se prckaju međusobno ne čudi.

Neki dan sam nešto brljao na taobao, htio sam vidjeti mogu li ja tamo uopće otvoriti account (bilo bi lijepo da su odmah rekli da ne, ali ne) i trebalo je proći jednu relativno zajebanu captchu. Klasičan izbor sličica, dok je opisni tekst onoga što žele da poklikaš na svima poznatim hijeroglifima i prikazuje se u canvasu na kojeg se primjenjuje hrpa šuma s dosta visokom frekvencijom izmjene. Dijabolično.

Oko zbog tromosti može vidjeti te znakove, ali ako napraviš SS vidiš samo mrlje, tako da i OCR možeš zaboraviti. Na kraju sam precrtao znakove pa to dao qwen da dešifrira. Nije bilo baš točno ali nakon 30 pokušaja dao se skužiti uzorak. I onda se me konačno odjebali.

Nađoh na alibabi AMD MI 50 32GB za cca $148 + $14 za shipping. Problem je jedino šta je minimalna kupovina 5 kom. Da li je netko zainteresiran za group buy?

Ispravite me slobodno, ali ne znam za povoljniju opciju za 32GB HBM2 VRAMa. Pojedinačne kartice ovog tipa se prodaju i za 500€. Što ne bih dao niti pod razno.

Također ne znam niti ocijeniti koliko su alibaba selleri respektabilni. Računam da postoji nekakva zaštita kupca u slučaju da pošalju neki škart.

Postoji određena nesigurnost vezano za to radi li se o "fake" kineskoj ili original verziji, s time da, koliko shvaćam, razlika je u tome što kineska verzija donekle limitira funkcionalnost (FP64) odnosno stavlja cap na TDP na 190W od max 300W. Ali to je navodno sve do BIOSa, chip bi trebao biti isti. Kineska verzija ima nešto hadwera uklonjeno, ali kaže ekipa na redditu da to ne utječe na performanse.

Također je moguće da se ovo ograničenje odnosi samo na 16GB verziju.

Dodatni problem je hlađenje, pošto ovakve kakve jesu dolaze bez ičega. Ima par izvedbi. Jedno rješenje je izrezati rupu u postojećem kućištu pa ubaciti unutra blower fan. Druga opcija je isprintati dodatak za kućište što onda moguće pretjerano produžuje karticu. Treća opcija bi bila roknuti gore neki ozbiljniji GPU cooler.

Ima tu prostora za komplikacije ali i entuzijazam te avanturistički duh

Prekjucer dok sam placao racun u kauflandu, skeniram mobitel tj. kaufland card i valjda slucajno dok sam ga spremao neki izbornik na istom se otvorio i pobrkalo mi font, velicinu ikona itd... 5 dodatnih ekrana umjesto jednoga i tak ja sjedim u autu ( zena voza ) mrgođem na mobitel jer nikako dodatne zaslone da maknem iako sam fontove nasao i sredio. Pomalo vec i psujem na telefon i zena me pogleda i ispali: pa sta ne pitas čat gpt kako da podesis telefon!?


Gledam u zenu i hebalo majku zbilja nisam znao sta bih joj rekao, gledam i ozbiljno procjenjujem jel me zahebava onako ispod... ili zbilja ozbiljno misli? Ja sutim gledam je a ona, pa da... sta ne pitas?
Hebote sta sam ja to ozenio? mislim si... Uglavnom probo sam je pitat jel normalna? Pa reko ako sam ne mogu slozit telefon onda mi isti ne treba i zabit cu se glavom u banderu radi beskorisnog mozga koji je izlapio.

Sad na trznici vidio oglas gdje prodavac pise da je stavio cijenu koju mu je predlozio čat gpt

Ne znam, ili sam prestar pa me treba eutanazirati ili sve to pomalo odlazi na kvasinu - AI.
