Isto *ovno, samo drugačije smrdi. Imam cca 10000 mailova offline, cijeli local folder je 3 GB. Unatrag 20-ak godina koliko ga koristim sam par puta doživio corruptanje fileova, a trenutno me zeza neki glupi bug s dupliranjem mailova, isti mail mi bude po 4-5 puta u folderu. Nikako uhvatiti vremena pa riješiti uzrok...



Da ne pričam koliko me nervira što su maknuli klasičan layout pa moram gađati gdje ću kliknuti mišem da bih pomaknuo prozor, imam doslovno par piksela na raspolaganju za to.

Nisu slomili u kratko vrijeme. Slamali su godinama, desetljećima pa i stoljećima. Što se tiče duplića, ima jedan zgodan plugin. Nije baš sto posto, ali dosta ti skrati posla. Pod opskurnim nazivom "Remove duplicate messages".

U mene je dolazilo do toga kada sam micao mailove u lokalni folder. Ponekada napravio move, druge pute ja uradio copy. Sve u svemu clusterfuck.

Nisam ni jedno ni drugo dozivio, kad micem mailove radim drag and drop, a u Thunderbirdu imam sve maillove od 2005e.

Nine days ago Microsoft released a non-security "preview" update for Windows 11 — not mandatory for the average Windows user, notes ZDNet, "but rather as optional, more for IT admins and power users who want to test them."

TechRepublic adds that the update "was to bring 'production-ready improvements' and generally ensure system stability by optimizing different Windows services." So it's ironic that some (but not all) users reported instead that the update "blocks users at the door, refusing to install or crashing midway through the process."

"It apparently impacted enough people to force Microsoft to take action," writes ZDNet. "Microsoft paused and then pulled the update," and then Tuesday released a new update "designed to replace the glitchy one. This one includes all the new features and improvements from the previous preview update, but also fixes the installation issues that clobbered that update."

Meanwhile, as Windows 11 version 24H2 approaches its end of life this October, Microsoft is now force-updating users to the latest version, reports BleepingComputer:

The good news is that the update from version 24H2 to 25H2 is a minor enablement package, as the two operating systems share the same codebase. As such, the update won't take long, and you should not encounter any disruptions, compatibility issues, or previously unseen bugs... Microsoft recently promised to implement big changes in how Windows Update works, including the ability to postpone updates for as long as you want. However, Microsoft has yet to clarify if that includes staying on a release beyond its support period.

Za enterprise ms nudi (vj ovisno o pretplati) xyz gb za online arhivu u azureu. Podesi se i radi sve sam, npr da miče (cut) sva mailove starije od mj dana sam. A sa PSTovima koliko sam vidio samo problemi. Doduše kod drugih, ja osobno nemam ništa baš toliko važno na poslu da moram čuvati xy godina. I meni osobno puno brže i pouzdanije radi OWA, samo nema sve opcije i funkcionalnost kao desktop outlook. Ali da je sve vezano uz ovaj ms indijski ai slop u banani, to stoji.

Znaci promjenim fajl. "Snimi ga". Otvorim i stoji kako sam upisao. Ali nije sniman fajl uopste jer FF pokazuje stare podatke. Odakle otvara koju q unos koji je sniman gdje.. u clipboard? Zar je moguce da se ovo desava notepadu++?

Microsoft is forcing Windows 11 25H2 update to 24H2 users

Microsoft is now force-installing the latest version of Windows 11, the 25H2, for users of the older 24H2 version of the operating system. Through what Microsoft calls a "machine learning-based intelligent rollout," the company is automatically updating 24H2 users to Windows 11 25H2 when their devices are ready. This forced update is part of a staged update plan for Windows 11, where Microsoft is gradually updating systems worldwide to phase out the 24H2 version, as support for this operating system will officially end on October 13, 2026. It makes sense to upgrade users to an operating system with a longer support period. However, Windows 11 users might be frustrated with the constant forced upgrades that Microsoft is pushing, which seem to offer little real-world benefit beyond regular security maintenance.

Regarding Windows versions, the situation has been a bit confusing recently. Microsoft has dedicated the 26H1 update exclusively for Windows-on-Arm devices, supporting new silicon, including the Snapdragon X2 Elite and X2 Plus platforms, as well as the potential launch of nVidia's N1/N1X laptop SoCs. The latest feature and security updates have been delivered through both the 24H2 and 25H2 versions, which have been the primary focus for x86-based PC systems. However, as support for 24H2 is coming to an end, the focus is gradually shifting to 25H2. There is still time before October of this year, and Microsoft is using AI for a staged rollout. Importantly, users cannot refuse this update. They can only schedule the restart for the update to be applied or postpone it slightly before it is finally installed.

Jesi li siguran da gledaš isti file?
Da. Otvorim u Notepad++ ili onom modernom Win11 notepadu, imaju promjene. Ali vidim ne ucitava se file. Otvorim file u firefox, nema promjena. Tek sad kad editujem sa starim classic notepadom, sejva podatke. Mislim, nije vazno, koristit cu classic verziju ali izludi me ne znam sta se desava.

Dakle, promjene koje napraviš i spremiš u txt fajlu sa np++ nisu vidljive u drugim aplikacijama? Da možda FF nešto ne cachira?

Da, fajl se ne promjeni uopste. Znas kad napravis promjene u win11 notepadu. I zatvoris notepad bez sejvanja. I otvoris ga ponovo i on ima tvoje promjene. Negdje su u clipboardu, i ako nisi sejvao. E tako. A FF sam slucajno koristio cisto da provjerim sta se desava i skontam da se fajl ne sejva.

Notepad++ po defaultu backupira nespremljene datoteke na %APPDATA%\Notepad++\backup, ali si možeš podesiti da ih spremi gdje god ti najbolje odgovara, dok ovaj moderni Windows 11 Notepad istu stvar radi na \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsNotepad_randomcharacters\LocalState. Eventualno da dodatno testiraš, pa probnu datoteku ručno spremiš, pa izmijeniš i samo zatvoriš u oba Notepada (moderni Windows 11 i ++), jer obje aplikacije u svakom slučaju uvijek u pozadini aktivno cacheiraju nespremljene datoteke, tak da lako moguće da se kod tebe negdje u pozadini nešto prebrikalo.

To temp spremanje bez spremanja zapravo olakšava čovjeku da bude maksimalno lijen i minimalno odgovoran. Nije se jednom dogodilo da sam tako pogubio neke stvari.

Ima li neka opcija za totalni remove ejaj i debloat ili bas moram na iot ili obican ltsc? Vidim svasta po netu ali nisam siguran koji tool/opcija je dobar/dobra i da radi i na zadnjoj verziji winsa.

Zadnji put kad sam nesto “debloatao” je ustvari bio install custom roma na androidu bas zbog ovih force updejtova i nezeljenog bloata. Sada to moram raditi i na winsima, baš žalosno. Pokušavam izbjeci ltsc radi licenci, volim original ali ako budem prisiljen snaci cu se.

Gledam zašto mi wsappx process troši CPU odnosno bateriju kad punjač nije spojen. Otvorim Store settings, znam da odmah po instalaciji Windowsa isključim auto update aplikacija, međutim, te opcije više nema, update se može samo pauzirati na 1-5 tjedana kao i Windows update. Može li se kompletan Store maknuti bez nekih posljedica?

Ja sam u tu svrhu koristio winhance. Međutim, to što očistiš ima tendenciju da se vrati naknadno. Maknem hrpu nepotrebnih gluposti, feature (bloat) update i boom, vrati pola toga što sam maknuo i još doda noviteta po izboru. I onda ekipa sere po linuxu Svugdje ima problema, ali nema boga da ti OS sam instalira software kojeg si ti maknuo, to je nečuveno.

domy, ja sam uvijek spreman na rizik kada je u pitanju micanje stora. Problem je što ne koristim to smeće pa stvarno ne znam kakve su moguće posljedice.

Imam problem sa instalacijom sound drivera u W11.
Prije su bili, pa sam nanovo instalirao W11 i sad ne mogu naći i instalirati drivere za zvuk.

Da, ovaj ss treba iz aviona gledati. Nego, to je prije, a što ti sada pokazuje device manager? Imaš upitnike, nemaš uopće uređaj, kakva je situacija? Da li si pošao na stranice proizvođača ploče (ako je u pitanju integrirani audio chipset na ploči) ili na stranice proizvođača zvučne kartice?

Kod jednog klijenta Windows 11 iz čista mira ne prikazuje niti jedan USB drive i SD kartice dok printer preko USB-a normalno radi. USBDeview ne registrira ništa kao ni device manager. SFC i DISM prošao bez grešaka, chkdsk, update i reinstall drivera, drugog usera,... Nisam još probao live boot u Linux jer je čovjek u drugom gradu i tudum je za te stvari, jedino možda Windows online repair. Koji vrag može biti u pitanju? Nema domene niti bilo kakav group policy.

Bit ce da je nesto do USBa zadnjih par dana...

Jucer skuzio da mi TrueNAS (FreeBSD) uopce ne ocitava UPS spojen preko USBa... Rijesio sam tek nakon sto sam restartao TrueNAS, onda sam lijepo mogao ocitati podatke sa njega...

Gledao sam i to, sve je na not configured, pogledat ću još ima li u registryu kakav policy.

Vodio sam ga još da isključi bateriju kroz BIOS, držao power tipku cijelu minutu da se isprazne kondenzatori, ne pomaže.

Ako printer uredno radi, to mora biti nešto softverski.
