People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. Poprilično neuspješno su više od pola godine skrivali tu kupnju, a u međuvremenu pjevali borbene o jednakosti i sl. bedastoće, dok su im zaposlenici davali ili dobivali otkaze, jer atmosfera u firmi je nikad bolja, teče čisti med i mlijeko. Jao, sad je samo pitanje vremena kad opet okrive GN i Heavy Metal Stevea za sve kaj ih je snašlo, dok Linus mahnito briše negativne komentare diljem Interneta.

Niti ne briše on nego neki od njegovih nikada sretnijih zaposlenika. Mene u ovakvim situacijama obično najviše oduševi licemjerje koje je potrebno da bi se s jedne strane djelatnicima pričalo kako nema love (makar pretpostavljam da je tome tako, nije teško za vizualizirati) a s druge strane se kupuje avion.

Inače, imam i osobno iskustvo koje se praktično savršeno poklapa s ovom situacijom. Jedino što se u mom slučaju bivši poslodavac hvalio kako je kupio avion Iako nije to bio jet, nego jedno mnogo manje zračno plovilo, kao recimo dodo iz VC. Ali analogija svejedno drži vodu.

Uvijek je to bil odron, ali ljudi su mislili da gledaju recenzije i objektivne tehničke osvrte, dok se iritantni egomanijak krevelji pred kamerama u stilu TopShop/Delimano prodaje. I onda je s vremenom sve skupa pojačano na 11 i sad se mora opravdati kupnja privatnog aviona za "potrebe firme".

Nažalost, Linus osobno odgovara ljudima i briše, odnosno cenzurira sve kaj mu ne paše, jer od nedavno ima i Reddit moderator ovlasti, dok na svojim YouTube kanalima odavno radi kaj ga volja, kak je GN LTT dokumentarac fino i pokazal. I najbolje od svega, Linus samog sebe kaj se privatnog aviona tiče, stavlja u kontekst Taylor Swift, jer ipak su isti rang poslodavca.

Cek, niko od vas nije znao da je on tezak oko 100mil? Linus je vlasnik zgrade gdje je smjesten LTT centar a pored toga imaju zgrade gdje im je produkcija i skladiste robe za webstore (koji donosi mislim veci procenat od YT reklama). Vlasnik je zgrade gdje im se nalazi LTT Lab i pored svega, veliki badminton centar:


I sad skontaj koliko njemu znaci 5mill za tamo neki potroseni avion. Linus vrti ozbiljni lovu. Ima preko stotinu zaposlenih. A imaju i svoju YT alternativu.

LTT kanal je mislim ok ako se ne svata preozbiljno. A ako cemo o tome, kada se prodao. Prodao se kada je LTT prestao biti unboxing kanal sa otvaranjem paketa.

Sve je to itekak dobro poznato već jedno dulje vrijeme i ne mijenja činjenicu da je količina ciganluka i pederluka svepristuna, dok Linus drži moralne vertikale. Više od stotinu zaposlenih žive kao podstanari, jer on traži da rade u najskupljoj provinciji u Kanadi, tak da lakše pišu scenarije za gazdu, dok s blesimetra čita plaćene reklame zapakirane kao nekakvo testiranje, pa se kasnije vrijeđa, jer im gledanost i popularnost YouTube kanala s vremenom pada. Linus se u doslovnom i prenesenom značenju prodal kad je kao propali maler počel raditi za NCIX kao prodavač i skladištar, pa kasnije na tom temelju složil svoju verziju TopShop/Delimano TV prodaje, tak da tu nema nikakvih nepoznanica. Ego mu ne dopušta da nekome prepusti i proda LTT/LMG za koji je prije nekoliko godina dobil ponudu od tih 100 milijuna, a zajedno sa ženom iza kulisa radi sve moguće financijske vratolomije, umjesto da su se kad su imali priliku povukli kak spada, ali jebiga, ovak je uvijek ispred kamere i u eteru.
Ova dvojica su praktički LTT zvijezde, obzirom na količinu vremena koju provode ili su provodili ispred kamere zajedno s gazdom, ali sumnjam da bi se itko mijenjal za njihova mjesta, a i vidi se po faci ovog drugog kakvo je raspoloženje u zraku, dok mora obilaziti šefov privatni avion.

Ja nemam jedan kubni milimetar u mozgu kojeg bih bio spreman posvetiti takvim znanjima. Meni je samo interesantna spika kako je dan od početnih zaposlenika došao, tražio više para i vjerojatno dobio odgovor kako se nema za njega (ali se ima za avion). Linus bi trebao preseliti poslovanja u HR, uklopio bi se savršeno.

Netko je bacio bombu u jobito komentarima da je Linus kupio taj kanal od svojeg bivšeg poslodavca za $1, ima li što istine u tome?

Ne pratim YT dramu niti gledam njegove kanale. Sa biznis strane mi je bio progres zanimljim i ono sto je ostvario, od cega je zapoceo, je poprilicno impresivno. Hejt ne kontam. Who gives a shit jel kupio jos dvije zgrade, avion ili Bugatti Čiron. Svi su ti biznismeni šupci.

Ima istine, jer NCIX Tech Tips koji je Linus vodil za NCIX koji se pak bavil prodajom hardvera i softvera je postal Linus Tech Tips, a onda da netko njemu ne napravi to kaj je on napravil svojim bivšim poslodavcima, lijepo je svojim zaposlenicima stavil NDA u ugovore, prijetnje odvjetnicima, razno-razne klauzule i tome slične gadosti, dok mu žena vodi kadrosvku i računovodstvo, tak da nije da njega netko mrzi, jer je bogat i kupuje kojekakva nepotrebna sranja (pošto je danas svaki drugi JubiTjuber na tom nivou), ali su se kroz godine nagomilale itekakve situacije sa zaposlenicima kojima se uvijek docira uz moralne vertikale. Avion je samo šećer na kraju višegodišnjih eskapada i to je ono zbog čega ga sad cijeli Internet ubija u pojam s komentarima koje ne stigne brisati koliko brzo se gomilaju.

Nisu svi businessmani šupci. Ljudi ovakve stvari opravdavaju sa "to je kapitalizam". Nije to kapitalizam, već stvar izbora. Umjesto da core zaposlenicima dadneš neki dostojanstven bonus kupiš avion. To je izbor. Onaj momak je dobro rekao: dok sam radio na Linusovoj trećoj kući pitao sam se hoći li moći ikada kupiti prvu kuću. Ti ljudi su sagradili čitav linus enterprise, a on priča o tome kako su zaposlenici skupi (i onda kupi avion).

Možda bi se on trebao zapitati, da li mu treba 100 zaposlenika te ima li dovoljno dobro plaćenu ekipu koja će to sve držati pod nadzorom. Jer on sigurno neće.

Tako da sve u svemu, zaboli me tko je kupio avion, ali me fasciniraju primjeri brutalnog licemjerja. Nisam se još uvijek na to naviknuo, izgleda.

^^^ Eto, ta NCIX priča sa kanalom dodatno otkriva kakvo je to licemjerno govno.

Da i to licemjerje je glavni pokretač svih negativnih komentara, jer koliko god se Linus trudil postići suprotno, uvijek bude pamćen kao govno od čovjeka.

Možda bi se on trebao zapitati, da li mu treba 100 zaposlenika te ima li dovoljno dobro plaćenu ekipu koja će to sve držati pod nadzorom. Jer on sigurno neće.
Content sweatshop je jedan od najboljih opisa za to čime se Linus i njegove LTT/LMG firme bave, dok se zaposlenici rotiraju ko da je u pitanju natjecanje.

Ok, ali odakle prica da je Linus ikada bio skroman good guy? Zar nije odrastao bogat na farmi? NDA je standar za ovakve poslove. Manji youtiberi imaju kojekakve editore koje rade skoro free, pa su pod nekakvim NDA. Vjerujem da se nasabiralo losih komentara ali je to ocekivano kada vrtis preko stotinu ljudi oko sebe. Da si najbolji gazda na planeti, isto bi se desilo jer vidim iskacu mi kojekakvi video klipovi gdje njegovi bivis zaposlenici farmaju Linusa za svoj kanala. Druze pa ja imam gorih iskustava jebo te tvoj Linus koji ti nije povecao platu. Meni trazili 20K da zadrzim posao od 300€ mjesecno


I da, vidim svi ti njegovi jadni bivis uposlenici ne planiraju nikakv drugi normalan posao vec hoce da budu.. youtuberi kao sva djeca danas? E jest im tesko u zivotu.

E, pa sam Linus je taj koji godinama sebe prezentira kao skromnog, dobronamjernog, sve je stvoril sam iz ničega, bez ičije pomoći i tome slična sranja koja takvi uredno promoviraju, a onda s vremenom ljudima pukne film, pa vele realno stanje stvari. I danas Linus ima točno ono protiv čega se boril, tj. bivši zaposlenici imaju svoje TV prodaja kanale i rade točno ono kaj su naučili od njega - hrpu sponzoriranih videa koje prezentiraju kao kvazi tehnički osvrt, a ako nazovete odmah dobivte i besplatni set noževa.

bivši zaposlenici imaju svoje TV prodaja kanale i rade točno on kaj su naučili od njega - hrpu sponzoriranih videa koje prezentiraju kao kvzi tehnički osvrt, a ako nazovete odmah dobivte i besplatni set noževa.

Mislim da je to sustina problema. Ljudi koji ga optuzuju pokusavaju da budu upravo sto je on postao.

A sto se aviona tice, to je content. Isto sto neki youtuber dijele PS5, spale pare, ili raznesu auto. Ulaganje u biznis. On ce obrnuti lovu sa istim, prodat ka za 5mil i napraviti veci YT promet.



Ali stanje LTT kao kompaniej najbolje govori store. Njeghovi fanovi kupuju sve i svasta samo zato sto je Linus logo dok mi hejtamo.

Nek samo kupuju, sve redom kvalitetni proizvodi iz Kine (pre)pakirani u Kanadi, a imaju i tzv. "Trust me Bro" garanciju. Da nije kroz godine plasiral hrpu sadržaja u eter u kojem se lijepo vidi odnos prema zaposlenicima, teško da bi mu sad netko zamjeril ikakve izlete s privatnim avionom. Jebiga, neki put možda i nije moral sve reći u kameru, a bome neke stvari i nije trebal snimati, pa da mu sad Internet iz arhive slaže kompilacije hitova.

E to sam upratio. Trust me bro je poceo kada je LTT backpack dizajnirao. Pa ga hejtali kao nema nikakav garan za povratom love ak oje ostecen. Lik napravi "Trust me Bro" IP i podje prodavat sranja sa "Trust me Bro" natpisom i onda ti isti sto su ga hejtali podju kupovat. Znaci od lika naprave meme, on od memea profitira. I nik od njih ne konta

Ruzno reci, u nedostatku ljepsih rijeci, ali je meni Linus od starta bio ljigav. Tipicni sales man u kojem sam prepozna osvoje bivse radne kolege. Zato mi je cudno od kada je Linus postao sweet heart.

Mislim da nije nikad, ali se cijelo vrijeme trudi kroz sav taj PR koji pušta u eter, ostaviti dojam nekoga tko mari i brine, a zapravo ga žešće zaboli briga.
