Claude 4.6 Opus just refactored my entire codebase in one call.

25 tool invocations. 3,000+ new lines. 12 brand new files.

It modularized everything. Broke up monoliths. Cleaned up spaghetti.

None of it worked.
But boy was it beautiful.

Zasto ti takvo nesto uopce treba? To za svaki mejl radis ili?

Nije li jednostavnije samo printat u PDF kroz printere?

Nije li jednostavnije samo printat u PDF kroz printere?
Eh. Ne pitaj. Doduše trebalo mi za ovo cca niti pol sata.

Ima starih mejlova koji imaju napisano nešto kao potvrdu da je dokument stigao a nisu prije radili Print to PDF (nisam znao da spremaju a nitko nije ni rekao). A neki nemaju više Outlook nego Outlook web a tamo nije samo File open msg file nego bi trebalo povlačiti u novi mejl pa onda otvarati. Ovo je jednostavnije.

Vjerojatno je bilo i gotovih appova ali nije mi se dalo tražiti.

Aha... Pa ok je use case... Ja obicno koristim notepad++ za citanje tih prastarih mejlova... Mislim, imam mbox fajl od 10GB pa si ga otvorim sa necim i trazim sto mi je bitno... Nije bas da se bavim citanjem arhiviranih mejlova... Ali volim imati arhivu...

Aha... Pa ok je use case... Ja obicno koristim notepad++ za citanje tih prastarih mejlova... Mislim, imam mbox fajl od 10GB pa si ga otvorim sa necim i trazim sto mi je bitno... Nije bas da se bavim citanjem arhiviranih mejlova... Ali volim imati arhivu...
To budemo ti i ja tak pogledali ali ostali baš i ne koji nisu informatičari a treba im. Inače MSG fajl nije txt fajl.

Otišao u msg file i ima puno nečitljivih znakova kaj bi drugi rekli wtf...

A i gledao kako napraviti py GUI na linuxu i da radi na windowsima te da imaju exe fajl umjesto python3 msg.py

lako stavim taj py file na github pa ga seciraj ako hoćeš. Meni odradio posao i dobar je.

Sjećaš se onih windat fajlova pa si morao program imati da ih pročitaš.

msg file bi svakako trebao biti tekstualni file, a to što si vidio kao neprintabilne znakove su vjerojatno base64 attachmenti, koji u istima budu inline ubačeni.

Kaj je najbolje otvorili smo i fajl u jednom outlooku i nema attachmenta.

Ali i da ga kolegice otvore kao txt file misliš da bi one tam skužile kaj je html a kaj nije? Naime, mail je u html-u nije plain tekst.

msg nije normalno čitljiv civilima, a nisam to niti tvrdio. Što se otvaranja tiče, outlook je slab standard za bilo što. Kada sam za neke svrhe gradio ručno email template, koristio sam .eml, što vjerojatno dođe na više manje isto i thunderbird i to je meni radilo OK. Jedino sada ovako napamet nisam više siguran koje je bila razlika između attachmenta i inline attachmenta.

Outlook je također otvarao eml. Sada kada razmislim, možda sam se gore malo zajebo za msg. Mislio sam na eml. Možda je msg zazipan.

During the ongoing AI boom, companies are full of talk about how everyone should embrace AI agents to reach unprecedented levels of productivity. However, we’re still not at a point where AI agents are flawless, and while they do provide useful assistance, there are also instances when they cause serious problems for those who deploy them.
One such instance happened in December 2025 when Amazon tasked its internal AI bot, Kiro, to fix some issues on AWS. Instead of doing a proper job, Kiro broke down a part of Amazon Web Services' infrastructure, causing an outage of that specific service. The outage lasted for 13 hours and was mostly limited to users in certain parts of mainland China.
Financial Times reports that Amazon engineers asked Kiro to address a minor software bug inside Cost Explorer, Amazon’s tool for customers to explore AWS service costs. Kiro then proceeded to “delete and recreate the environment,” instead of simply fixing a specific bug.
On top of that, FT reports that this wasn’t an isolated case, as more AWS engineers told them about another instance when Amazon’s internal AI tool caused a service issue in the company’s infrastructure. The incident involved Amazon Q Developer, Amazon's AI-powered chatbot designed to assist engineers with writing code, which caused another internal service disruption.

Bill Gates naprasno otkazao sudjelovanje na konferenciji pa neki pojedinci traže povrat novca od organizatora.
A ovi kaj nešt mašu s majcama su krivci za nedolazak BG-a jer na majcama piše "smrt pedofilima!"

Ono što sam ja naučio iz ovog videa je da indijci koji izgledaju relativno zajebano i nose kamatarke uopće nisu zajebani. Da onaj agresivni s očalama nije dobio po njonji je upravo nevjerojatno.

They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Programmer/entrepreneur Paul Ford is the co-founder of AI-driven business software platform Aboard. This week he wrote a guest essay for the New York Times titled "The AI Disruption Has Arrived, and It Sure Is Fun," arguing that Anthropic's Claude Code "was always a helpful coding assistant, but in November it suddenly got much better, and ever since I've been knocking off side projects that had sat in folders for a decade or longer... [W]hen the stars align and my prompts work out, I can do hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of work for fun (fun for me) over weekends and evenings, for the price of the Claude $200-a-month."

He elaborates on his point on the Aboard.com blog:

I'm deeply convinced that it's possible to accelerate software development with AI coding — not deprofessionalize it entirely, or simplify it so that everything is prompts, but make it into a more accessible craft. Things which not long ago cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to pull off might come for hundreds of dollars, and be doable by you, or your cousin. This is a remarkable accelerant, dumped into the public square at a bad moment, with no guidance or manual — and the reaction of many people who could gain the most power from these tools is rejection and anxiety. But as I wrote....

I believe there are millions, maybe billions, of software products that don't exist but should: Dashboards, reports, apps, project trackers and countless others. People want these things to do their jobs, or to help others, but they can't find the budget. They make do with spreadsheets and to-do lists.

I don't expect to change any minds; that's not how minds work. I just wanted to make sure that I used the platform offered by the Times to say, in as cheerful a way as possible: Hey, this new power is real, and it should be in as many hands as possible. I believe everyone should have good software, and that it's more possible now than it was a few years ago.

Is the software I'm making for myself on my phone as good as handcrafted, bespoke code? No. But it's immediate and cheap. And the quantities, measured in lines of text, are large. It might fail a company's quality test, but it would meet every deadline. That is what makes A.I. coding such a shock to the system... What if software suddenly wanted to ship? What if all of that immense bureaucracy, the endless processes, the mind-boggling range of costs that you need to make the computer compute, just goes?

That doesn't mean that the software will be good. But most software today is not good. It simply means that products could go to market very quickly. And for lots of users, that's going to be fine. People don't judge A.I. code the same way they judge slop articles or glazed videos. They're not looking for the human connection of art. They're looking to achieve a goal. Code just has to work... In about six months you could do a lot of things that took me 20 years to learn. I'm writing all kinds of code I never could before — but you can, too. If we can't stop the freight train, we can at least hop on for a ride.

 The simple truth is that I am less valuable than I used to be. It stings to be made obsolete, but it's fun to code on the train, too. And if this technology keeps improving, then all of the people who tell me how hard it is to make a report, place an order, upgrade an app or update a record — they could get the software they deserve, too. That might be a good trade, long term.

Google is putting billions into its new AI Mode for search. The company is currently integrating Gemini into everything from basic research to travel planning. However, not everyone is benefiting from this massive AI push.
Ahrefs conducted research in December 2025 that shows Google's AI Overviews now reduce click-through rates for top-ranking pages by 58%. When an AI Overview appears in search results, the first organic result drops from roughly 7.3% CTR to just 1.6%.
This is a rerun of the original research. Ahrefs conducted the same study in April 2025, when it measured the damage at 34.5%. In roughly eight months, the click-through rate dropped by an additional 24%.
The report further shows that when AI Overviews appear, they’re on top position 91.36% of the time. This pushes organic content to lower positions, and encourages zero-click searches, which is when people come to Google for an answer and leave without visiting any of the search results.
On the surface, AI Mode serves readers well. It provides a convenient way for everyone to get the information they're looking for without digging through multiple search results and reading long articles they don't have time for.
