To na linuxu ovisi o distribuciji. Ovo što je dule napisao je barem 90% točno. U zadnje vrijeme me par appimagea zajebavalo na debianu. Vjerojatno bi se to dalo riješiti, nego nisam imao potrebu kopati.

Ono što bi tebi vjerojatno totalno otvorilo horizonte je da si napraviš linux instalaciju na sticku pa da onda to okolo nosiš sa sobom i bootaš prema potrebi. Npr:

EDIT: dule, dok sam ja bio na manjaru radilo je sve živo. Debian je malo izbrljiviji. Čisto da kažem da postoji "sve" i "sve"

People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. Fora ti je da je probaš u terminalu otvoriti pa ti javi u čemu je problem.

Tako meni nije htio Viber raditi, lijepo terminal op neki fuse nešto falio. Instalirao i eno ga radi.

Ja evo da pokucam u drvo trebam još doživiti da mi neki AppImage ne radi na Archu, a probao sam ih dosta...
Nije point hoće li raditi. Point je hoće li raditi nakon kopiranja. Pogotovo ako kopiraš iz Archa u neki drugi distro.

To mi je nepotrebno. Zanima me samo Linux koji mi služi kao jedini os, odnosno kao potpuna zamjena za Windows.

Tako meni nije htio Viber raditi, lijepo terminal op neki fuse nešto falio. Instalirao i eno ga radi.
Da, fuse je minimalno potreban da bi to radilo. U mom slučaju par imagea nije htjelo se pokrenuti zbog starijeg fuse libarija. Jedan od tih je balena etcher, koji sad vidim ima jedino "legacy" appimage tako da je vjerojatno to razlog zašto ne dela.

Po meni sve te aplikacije nemaju nikakvoga smisla pored DaVinci Resolve.
A recimo ja ne mogu pokrenuti DaVinci Resolve i za manje zahvate su mi oba dobra... i ShotCut i OpenShot.

Avidemux me razočarao više puta, pretežno s hevcom pa sam ga otpisao.
Shotcut mi se pokazao kao najbolji za takve jednostavnije zahvate. Jednom prilikom morao malo presložiti neke prezentacije snimljene OBSom i tu je poslužio jako dobro.
Davinci sam jednom pokrenuo na linuxu i toliko je sranja nabacao posvuda, naročito po home direktoriju na više mjesta da mi je bilo muka i maknuo sam ga

Nije direktno aplikacija ali mozda bi nekome moglo biti od koristi:

Tuxmate je alternativa Ninite installeru za pocetnike koji jos neznaju sto je Ansible ili ne zele vlastite Ansible skripte pisat.

People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.
