Microsoft is reshaping Windows around AI, introducing capabilities that let users control their computers through voice and allow Copilot to take autonomous actions on their behalf. The company is now rolling out a "Hey, Copilot!" wake word on Windows 11 machines, positioning voice as a "third input mechanism" to supplement the keyboard and mouse.

Copilot Vision, which streams what a user sees on their screen, is rolling out globally, enabling the system to troubleshoot PC problems, help with app usage, and provide task guidance. Microsoft is simultaneously testing Copilot Actions through a limited preview, allowing the AI to take autonomous actions on local machines like editing folders of photos. The company is also integrating Copilot into the Windows taskbar and launching advertisements promoting these features, coinciding with Windows 10's end-of-support earlier this week.

Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft's consumer chief marketing officer, said the company wants users upgrading to Windows 11 to "experience what it means to have a PC that's not just a tool, but a true partner." Microsoft attempted to popularize Cortana, a voice assistant, on Windows 10 a decade ago. Last year, the company released Recall, a feature that automatically captured screenshots, drawing criticism over privacy.

Imagine agentic AI being turned loose inside your PC and performing tasks without your supervision. It’s a big swing that’s conceptually almost as unsettling as Windows Recall.
What happens when you ask AI to start mining and collating and adjusting your files, giving AI agents essentially the same user accounts you might give to members of your family? Microsoft is giving you tools to monitor this voluntary service, but… whew. It’s a monumental shift.

Svaka verzija nekog softwera pogotovo OS-a ima neke bugove a vecina korisnika i dalje moze normalno koristiti iste bez prituzbi. Sve je to malo napuhano. Instaliraj i bok.

Da, koliko vidim sve funkcionira, ali da će to biti sve gotovo u 5 minuta, iznenađujuće. Kada sam prije 1 mjesec prelazio sa Win10 na Win11 (22H2 na 23H2) trebalo je skoro 3 sata. Drugi dan me pita za prelazak sa 23H2 na 24H2 i opet malo više od 2 sata, a sada sa 24H2 na 25H2 za 5 minuta.

22H2 na 23H2 je inplace upgrade, ovo je običan kumulativni update koji su dosta ubrzali i zapravo skidaš enablement package.

To mi je jasno. Ali sa 23H2 na 24H2 je trebalo isto oko 2,5 sata. Zato sam mislio da će i ovo trajat toliko, pripremio se na 2h čekanja, kada ono prdac, gotovo odmah. Ali neki dan sam imao ažuriranja i trajala oko pola sata. Sve u svemu super prošlo. E sada se nadam da sam miran barem pola godine sa 25H2.

dali ste isprobali sledgehammer sa win11?


ja sam probao i on radi (mora se stavit WMIC pack), ali sam primjetio neke jako cudne stvari.
npr instaliram zadnje update preko sledge-a (wumgr option), restoram true image napravljen prije tih updejta i sledge mi vise ne nudi te update .
kao da ima negdje zapisano. ESET je prvo sto stavim (interactive mode; LAN je off prije toga) i blokam mu sve osim win update kad krene check na updejte.


win je win11 ltsc iot.



edit:
mislim da sam skuzio. bio je win update na pause stavljen prije neg sam instalirao sledge. enable-ao u sledgeu, pokrenuo win update, resume, zatvorio, u sledge-u deisable, opet pokrenuo i sad nalazi.

Microsoft continues its tradition of making Windows a little more cumbersome with each monthly patch cycle. Following the October update, Windows 11 admins and developers are reporting broken localhost connections – prompting widespread complaints, quick rollbacks, and questions about how such a bug cleared Microsoft's testing.
The recent KB5066835 update for Windows 11 broke the operating system's localhost interface, prompting affected users and developers to uninstall the patch in an attempt to restore functionality. The exact number of impacted systems is unknown, but discussion forums are already flooded with complaints and help requests.

Home verzija se enkriptira po defaultu također.
Zato i forsiraju MS account pri instalaciji.

If you're using a local account, Device Encryption isn't turned on automatically.
E sad dal se uključi ako se koristi neka od onih fora za "zaobilaženje" online accounta prilikom instalacije, to je pitanje.
Ajd, barem se ne počne sam od sebe enkriptirat ničim izazvan, u četvrtak navečer, to bi bilo gadno.


EDIT: čitam komentare i neznam šta da mislim, nekima se stvarno dešava ova "gadna" situacija.

Device Encryption is a Windows feature that enables BitLocker encryption automatically for the Operating System drive and fixed drives.
When you first sign in or set up a device with a Microsoft account, or work or school account, Device Encryption is turned on and a recovery key is attached to that account.
If you're using a local account, Device Encryption isn't turned on automatically.

zaobisa ms acc znaci online login i ostala MS sr*nja? nikad koristio, i nikad necu.
ak je tak, nije ni meni se aktivirao, al mozda zato jer je test masina na MBR, ak to ima veze.
neznam. uglavnom stavio zadnje updejte jucer.
sad sam mu iskljucio i servise vezane sa to gofno kao sto i radim inace na win10 masinama.
