U Chromu cca 50 tabova otvorenih, u Firefoxu desetak (nigdje nije video i sl.)...
Znao sam da je task manager smeće, ali ovo je neki novi nivo. Browser nije uzimao 500 MB valjda još od doba windows XP.

Task Manager na tom screenshotu ima uključeni tzv. Efficency mode, tak da su web-preglednici stalno šparni, kad im je prioritet po pitanju sistemskih resursa posložen što je niže moguće. Nažalost, to zna negativno utjecati na responzivnost aplikacija, pa se u tom slučaju kompletno isključi. Uz to, većina današnjih modernih web-preglednika nudi mogućnost da se pozadinski neaktivni tabovi uspavaju kroz integrirani sleep mode, pa i to utječe na manje zauzeće memorije.

Da, tipične pizdarije koje Microsoft po defaultu gura kroz razne Windows iteracije, ali se barem još uvijek mogu isključiti skupa s ovim šparnim web izdanjima.

Nama prije treba neki to-do list, a ne bookmarks. Znam si otvoriti po 5-10 tabova na neku temu i onda to tako se crva u grupi i ceka da nadjem vremena to sve procitati. Kad procitam, ugasim i zaboravim na to. Ako je vrijedno sejvanja - jasno, ide u bookmarkse.

Ja sam si krenuo u zadnje vrijeme (sporo ide) prebacivati bookmarke u obsidian. Nisam još našao 100% optimalnu strukturu direktorija (možda sam na 15%) ali generalna mi je ideja koristiti pojedinačne zabilješke za grupe bookmarka (ugrubo) gdje onda uz pojedine bookmarke dodajem i tagove za lakše pretraživanje.

Sadržaj kojeg želim sačuvati lokalno ubacim u neki pod direktorij, obsidian dosta dobro konvertira HTML/rich text u markdown. Treba voditi računa kako puno toga na internetima danas nestaje, pa bookmark na zanimljiv članak sutra možda ne bude značio ništa.

OK, nemam ni ja - na jednoj starijoj, a sasvim funkcionalnoj mašini, pa se istih 30 tabova bez šparnih Firefox mogućnosti smjesti kak spada.

Kod mene je instaliran BookStack i napravim c/p stranice nutra. Jedino ako pobrišu slike onda sam u banani jer njih ne sejva unutra.
Ovo se čini OK, ali istovremeno mi se čini i kao popriličan overkill za to što meni treba. Htio bih imati lokalni backup raznih internet pizdarija u nekom razumnom formatu. Tekst fajlovima kojima mogu pristupiti kako i kad god, uz mogućnost comittanja u nešto lokalno.

They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I'll tell you what they don’t want: They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. Thats against their interests. Thats right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f*cked by a system that threw them overboard 30 f*cking years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Obsidian ima odlične mogućnosti tagiranja koje poslije fino možeš pretraživati ili napraviti graph, tako da mi to c/p nikako nije problem.

Bok,

Izluđuje me u zadnjih par dana Firefox, svaki search koji upišemu Quick search ili glavni input filed je "reCaptch" i klikanje autobusa, bicikala, motora...

A i da je CGNAT onda bi bilo iz svih browsera ne samo firefoxa...

A nisam čitao da je samo FF. Možda imaš neku extenziju koja je problem. Probaj ugasiti jednu po jednu...

Možda misliš da nemaš VPN, ali Mozilla se brine za tvoju sigurnost pa po defaultu uključi secure DNS što ti dođe skoro na isto kao VPN tako da probaj isključiti DoH (DNS over HTTPS) i onda CTRL+F5 na Google homepage.

Kad prebacim search engine na bilo koji drugi (evo stavio sam "Patku") onda nema tog problema, samo kad je google search engine.
Vidim po reditu i okolo taj problem se dogadja u Firefoxu vec godinama jer google hoce neki tracking kojeg Firefox ne dozvoljava. Mozda zato sto sam odjavljen sa Gmaila pa nezna tko koristi search i sta trazi pa neznaju di da me strpaju u koje cookiese/search data .
