New Features

Catalyst 8.1 introduces MultiView™ support. This feature provides for hardware accelerated OpenGL rendering across multiple graphics adapters. MultiView™ will provide hardware accelerated 3D rendering in a system containing multiple graphics cards on an extended desktop arrangement. This feature will allow for the rendering performance and additional frame buffer resources to be evenly shared with the second and third graphics adapters. This allows for a 3D application to have the same performance running on a secondary or third display device as if it were running on the primary display device. This feature will be supported under Windows XP (32 and 64 bit versions), Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit versions), and the Linux operating system.

Bioshock: Flickering is no longer noticed during the cinematic introduction of the game. Further details can be found in topic number 737-31570

Creating a secondary user account and switching from the secondary user account to the primary user account no longer results in CrossFire™ failing to be enabled. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28786

Connecting a secondary display device to a system containing an ATI Radeon x1200/1250/1270 series of product and enabling clone mode or extended desktop mode no longer results in horizontal line corruption being noticed when using a high refresh rate and display resolution. Stavio ove nove drivere i sve se posemerilo, boje u firefoxu luduju

(desava se slicno i u nekim aplikacijama)

stvorio se i neki bjeli kvadratic iznad my computer ikone ne desktopu


instalirao i onaj hotfix ne pomaze nista, sa 7.12 firefox isto luduje i pojedini programi takodjer imaju posemerene boje ali nema kvadratica iznad my computer ikone
sa 7.11 sve savrseno radi vratio sam 7.11

kod instaliranja nove verzije drivera uredno sam sve uninstalirao i pocistio sa driver cleanerom da nebi bilo zabune ... nazalost za mene ocito nikakve koristi od novijih verzija drivera, probao sam i sa zadnjim omega driverima ista stvar

Pa, to je problem još od 7.12 drivera (sa 38xx serijom), izgleda da idioti još nisu sredili taj bug

Znači bolji su 7.12?! Ah Ati, počeli su praviti drivere ko za nVidiu...

i ja sam dobio kvadratić gore lijevo, nije ga bilo kod 7.12 drivera.

Bolje da izdaju jednom u tri mjeseca nego da naprave ovo... 7.12 sam probao i maknuo, ovo neću ni stavljat

Ovog bijelog kvadratića se rješavate tako da isključite CCC u trayu, ionako tamo ne služi bogzna čemu. Ne znam, ja sam bio zadovoljan sa 7.12 tako da ću ostaviti i ove (stavio sam i fix, čisto da vidim da li mijenja šta).

Meni je sve bilo u banani sa ovim novim driverima kada sam ih instalirao nakon verzije 7,12...a cak i 7,11 mi ne odgovaraju jer mi crisys steko...jedino sa 7,12 mi je sve savrseno, i sada sam ih vratio

ja od 7.11 nisam vidio nikakvo poboljsanje what so ever u smislu performansi. Nista !

Stavio sam 8.1 malo WoW odvrtio i sve raid bez beda zasad XP inače

Ja skidam one najveće od 40+ megabajta jer imam i ATI chipset ploču, i ono što mi se kod ovih drivera najviše sviđa je da su 7MB manji od 7.12

I inače ih smanjuju već par verzija, što je po meni pozitivno

Što se rada tiče, kod mene je sve OK osim famoznog bijelog kvadratića

ja sam stavio catalist 8.1 i radi ok samo sto kod dizanja windows-a vrati se na rezoluciju 1024x768 a ja je postavim na 1280x1024!

Još nisu izašli 8.1 za Linux
7.12 vjerojatno radi, ali uz dosta kemijanja, jer click'n'play instalacija još ne radi kako treba, bar meni ne na OpenSuse 10.3 (radilo je već negdje na 7.1, ali ne da mi se svaki put izgubiti 2 dana da bi vrtio kocku na desktopu )

Danas sastavio jedan PC, e6550, p5k, 2gb ram i ona GeCube hd3850 x-turbo 512mb http://www.adm.hr/product_info.php?c...oducts_id=5208 i stavljeni 8.1 bez ikakvog problema ili "kvadratica" na Visti Home. Lik je dosao prerano pa nisam stigao "istestirati" . Steta...

meni je compiz radio ok i s 7.11(mobility x1600) na Gutsy-ju. (istina nisam ga puno koristio, nekih pola vure i josh jednom se dokazalo kao beskorisnim)

na Gutsy-ju ti treba pola minute da proradi. Trebash u jedan text file na odredjeno mjeso (compiz driver whitelist) dodati "fglrx" i to je to.

ni instalacija drivera nije komplicirana (ja pravim pakete, ne koristim ati installer). sad je josh jednostavnije zbog onog Dellovog DKMG (ili tak nekako se zove, djubre kompajla kernel modul bez pitanja ). Uglavnom nikakvih problema

ja sam primjetio ali na gore (3dmark06). sa 7.11 sam dobivao oko 10850, sa 7.12 10750, dok sa 8.1 dobivam oko 10700. sa svakom revizijom malo gricnu...
jedino sam primjetio da na soldier od fortune 3, je na 7.11 ludovala tekstura u sumama i biljkama, dok je sa 7.12 i 8.1 to rijeseno. kvadratic je i kod mene...

par puta sam namjesto rezoluciju i treci put uspjelo je i svaki put sam radio isto i zadnji put je uspjelo tako da ne znam kako sam konkretno naredio!

Na ubuntu za nove drivere koristim ENVY
Sve šljaka, samo je problem kod drivera, bilo kojih koje sam probao, se javljaju neke linije kod promjene slike, tako kod tothem movie playera ne moš gledat film...a u mplayeru se titlovi smrdaju, bez drivera radi fino.
Sada ću probat ove nove pa ću vidjet.
