Ma to ti je nekoliko faktora, vjerojatno imaju testbook po kojem testiraju, znaci nemaju sve pokriveno, a drugi dio je calculated risk, ok imamo bug, triba x za popravit ga, ostavit cemo za iduci release....

Nažalost nemaju više ništa pokriveno, prije 10 godina su otpustili cijeli interni test tim, nekoliko tisuća ljudi je dobilo otkaz u etapama i sad su im ovakve pizdarije postale realnost.

Jučer sam instalirao 24H2 na ASUS TUF Gaming A15 i nikakve probleme nisam uočio osim nepostojećih WiFi i LAN drivera pa sam ih ručno instalirao kroz OOBE.

Ali bitno da su pojačali volumen i protok ogromnih updejta. Mislim da je došlo pravo vrijeme da MS promijeni poslovni model i da OS postane besplatan za korištenje. "Besplatan".

Jesu, nemaju nikoga da to provjeri, pa sve prolazi, a poslovni model im je pretplatničkog tipa, Azure + Microsoft 365 i voljno, nemaju oni brige za ove desktop poluproizvode.

Pa upravo u tome i je poanta, sve prolazi kada nema nikoga da traži i nalazi probleme. To je toliko nazadan mentalni sklop da oni nekoga tko radi QA uzima za neprijatelja.

Evo mene opet... Ja i dalje instaliram 23H2 verziju bez problema u limited modu sa onim OOBE trikom (Shift-F10 i onda oobe\bypassnro)... Upravo 3x Dell Optiplexa digao sa time... Spojio onda mrezni kabel i sad radim Windows Update, sve ide bez problema...

Ako cemo iskreno, neda mi se bakcat sa Rufusom, onako nikako... Vjerujem da bi sve bilo jednostavnije, ali uopce nemam volje takvo nesto ic radit...

Ima puno stvari kojih bih se trebao uhvatiti, recimo zamijeniti belt na walkmanu pa mi se ni to nikako neda...

Trenutno su mi ovi Dell Optiplexi zabavni za cackanje pa malo zagledam sta tu ima zanimljivog... Nevjerojatno mi je da u takvoj maloj masinici ima 8-core i7, a masinica realno velicine pola laptopa...

OK, Cuky, uvjerio si me, slozio sam si Win11 Enterprise LTSC IoT preko Rufusa i sad dizem na P15v masinu...

Inace, kod Lenova je nesto specificno jer se ne zeli bootat sa takvog USB sticka... Nasao sam kako se to rijesi...


Dakle, ako se instalira Windows sa USB sticka slozenim za UEFI (preko Rufusa ili slicnog), onda u BIOSu treba pod sekcijom Secure Boot ukljuciti "Allow 3rd party UEFI CA". Na novijim Lenovo laptopima je ovo po defaultu iskljuceno. Cak i kada je Rufus slozen za GPT/UEFI (non csm), i dalje treba ovu opciju imati ukljucenu u BIOSu...

Hmmm...
Ne znam da li je bilo spominjanja ( možda i je ali ...)...
Bilo koju instalaciju WIN-a da radim skinem ISO sa win stranice . Nakon toga skinem Unattended Winstall xml (ima tri verzije ), koju želim instalirati na računalo pokrenem instalaciju i ne pita za nikakve gluposti. LINK
S tim da se može napraviti i svoja verzija.


Nakon toga pokrenem preko Windows PowerShell (Admin) naredbu, odaberem programe za instalaciju i manje više to je to ...

Ljudi plače mi se. Nije mi Windows Update nikako nudio taj 24H2 (a preko nekog /windowsserver ili tako nečeg sam ga puknuo na drugi laptop koji uopće ne podržava 11) pa sam skinuo installer, pokrenuo ga, on je odradio svoje i ...

...pa jbt riješili su problem s explorerom kojeg imam od početka, da se vuče, treba par sekundi da prikaže sadržaj foldera...što se vuče od samog početka 11-ice toliko da sam se priviknuo na Files app (skine se preko Storea).

Kako su oni to sad riješili - nemam pojma, ali eto ima nade. Ja sam mislio da samo reinstall to može riješiti, a to mi se bome ne da radit.

Vidis, ja na sve svoje masine cim instaliram Windowse, odmah dizem Directory Opus... To je jedan od par komada softvera sto sam platio licencu i nisam jos nikada pozalio...

Ako netko ima problema sa otvaranjem fajlova spremljenih na NASu ili cak i pristupu NASu iz aplikacija koje imaju elevated access, ovdje je uputstvo kako to sloziti da radi...

Meni recimo Notepad++ nije mogao otvoriti TXT fajl na NASu... A kada bih pokusao iz File -> Open otici na NAS, uopce ga nije vidio... Pa eto, ispalo da nije problem do NASa, niti do Notepad++, vec do glupih Windowsa koji ovaj problem vuku jos od Windows 7 verzije...

Boze, mozda sada napokon pocnem voljeti poslovnu radnu stanicu sa gazilijon jezgri. Bas prosli tjedan gledam i krizam se, em explorer steka, em treba 3 sekunde da otvori jpg od 500kB u defaultnom photo vieweru. 23H2 doduse. Nadam se da ce update donijeti pomaka.

Doslovno ne pamtim dan da me iskustvo na Win11 odusevilo u bilo kojem pogledu. Prisiljen sam ga koristiti na hardveru koji je miljama jaci od mog privatnog kompa - a opet moj komp djeluje responzivniji i brzi u tim glupim taskovima (W10 LTSC). Bas ludo, ne mogu se nadiviti.

Kolega @xlr, imao sam doslovno identična iskustva sa Microsoft Windows 11 operativnim sustavom. Doduše, na samom početku korištenja je čak sve bilo dobro pa sam jednom ili više puta pohvalio sami operativni sustav. Isto tako, sve je na početku bilo dobro na prijenosnom računalu Dell XPS 15 ali nakon nekog vremena je to postalo očajno. Također, na privatnom računalu prešao sam tojest retrogradno sam počeo koristiti Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 verziju ali na poslovnom sam i dalje osuđen na Microsoft Windows 11, no za neke stvari imam Western Digital SN850X 2TB NVMe SSD u vanjskom kućištu sa USB-C priključkom s kojeg pokrećem instalaciju Linux Mint-a pa ponekad poslovno provedem više vremena u Mint-u nego u nativnom operativnom sustavu s kojim je došao taj preskupi prijenosnik.

evo jedan fun bug? feature? thing?
u firmi su nakon updejta na 24h2 onemogucene "location services". Koliko citam po reditima to je sad nova fora da se forsa disejbled. Al ako nisi admin nemozes sam ni inejblat. Morali smo preko intunea gurnut policy da se otkljuca opcija opet. Disejbla se i automatska vremenska zona isto posto koristi taj servis, pa eto, ako je jos tko imao te probleme, now you know.
