They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table to figure out how badly they’re getting f*cked by a system that threw them overboard 30 f*cking years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. How yes (but) no Prije cu se primit operiranja po Windozama kao nekad davno kad sam gledao u Linux ko tele u sarena vrata a krsio Windows instalaciju 2-3 puta...dnevno.... Uvijek je trebalo testirati neki novi Tweak . Danas sam malo previse zaglibio u Linux vode i privatno - nema natrag .


P.S. - igram se bas sa MDT , NTLite i WIM Witch...love me dani nostalgije iz vremena W2K i XP-a

Kak je krenulo i sudeći po svemu kaj izvode na praktički dnevnoj bazi, cijeli Windows OS je jedno veliko minsko polje, a kad vidim kojekakve LTSC optimizacijske vodiče (1 - 2), izdaleka je očito da su u Microsoftu odavno odustali od korištenja zdravog razuma. Uopće im nije problem aktivno raditi na tome da im operativni sustav postaje sve veće smeće i sve veća muka za osnovne funkcionalnosti običnog prosječnog korisnika, a kamoli išta naprednije.

Da, nema povratka za Microsoft, jer bi morali priznati višegodišnji zajeb za zajebom i forsiranje totalnih bedastoća unutar OS-a. Kaj se Linuxa tiče, ne moraju imati ovaj postotak korisnika kakav Windows uživa desetljećima, dosta je da se taman toliko ljudi u određenoj mjeri prebaci na neku od Linux distribucija, tak da postane sasvim normalno.

Sto mislis, kolika "masa" bi bila potrebna da napravi "katastrofu za Linux ekosistem" - uz postojecih skoro 3 milijarde Android uredjaja, 20 milijardi raznih embedded/IoT uredjaja, nebrojeno mnogo server/cloud instanci i 100% top 500 superracunala?

Katastrofu u smislu zaglupljivanja desktop operativnog sustava kako bi ga se približilo najmanjem zajedničkom nazivniku. Kao npr. činjenica da postoji "skoro 3 milijarde android uređaja" bez administratorskog pristupa, makar što se tiče vlasnika uređaja.

Windows 11 received a fair share of flak from users for its controversial Start menu redesign, which many consider a big step back from what Windows 10 had. For years after the initial Windows 11 release, Microsoft finally has a much-improved variant, which is now available for everyone to download and try.
The redesigned Start menu addresses several drawbacks of the original version. For example, it is no longer split into two pages. You can now have the list of all apps right when you open the menu. Next, you can finally turn off the Recommended section and have more space for your pins and all apps. Also, the list of all apps has three views: grid, list, and categories.

The latest Windows 11 preview builds show that Microsoft is working on a new way to let users update Microsoft Store apps that could be less annoying than updating through the Microsoft Store. The build shows that Microsoft is baking an update mechanism that lets you check for an install update for apps via the Windows Update service, separate from the Microsoft Store.
This update method is designed to ensure that apps are up to date even when the Microsoft Store is inaccessible, for example, due to admin policies or if the Store app is uninstalled.

Nisu samo Win retardirani....vidim da google prepisuje.
Neki dan mi je na shield TVu nestao smartube (yt vanced ekvivalent ali za aTV), i vidim u kutu notifikaciju da je maknut jer je štetan za mene. Na svu sreću postoji za sada opcija da ga vratim i da sam odlučim što je štetno za mene. Ne bi me čudilo da ubrzo prestane raditi sideload...

Nisu samo Win retardirani....vidim da google prepisuje.
Neki dan mi je na shield TVu nestao smartube (yt vanced ekvivalent ali za aTV), i vidim u kutu notifikaciju da je maknut jer je štetan za mene. Na svu sreću postoji za sada opcija da ga vratim i da sam odlučim što je štetno za mene. Ne bi me čudilo da ubrzo prestane raditi sideload...
Smarttube je nedavno imao fijasko i stara verzija zbilja nije vise najpametnija za koristenje, pogotovo je ne bi trebao updejtati:

Nisam to primjetio na svom shieldu, imam ugasen protection u playstoreu pa valjda zato.

Katastrofu u smislu zaglupljivanja desktop operativnog sustava kako bi ga se približilo najmanjem zajedničkom nazivniku.
Ne znam sto ti znaci "zaglupljivanje", ali ako si ciljao na uniformiranost desktopa, bas kako ga imaju Windowsi u kontekstu userspace API-ja - da, upravo nedostatak toga je razlog zasto Linux na desktopu koriste samo i iskljucivo entuzijasti. I kako sada stvari stoje, tako ce i ostati, sto je sasvim u redu.

Kao npr. činjenica da postoji "skoro 3 milijarde android uređaja" bez administratorskog pristupa, makar što se tiče vlasnika uređaja.
I sto nam govori ta cinjenica? Da je to sasvim OK i da gotovo nikome ne treba "administratorski pristup". A onima kojima treba - imaju nacina i tehnickog znanja da ga postignu.

Dok god neka distribucija ne postigne da Mladen pređe na Linux, nema od masovne selidbe ništa.

"By my count" - frajer otvorio Statcounter za SAD (jer cijeli svijet smrdi) i zakljucio - ako je Unknown, mora da je Linux.

Da ti demonstriram obrat: "Po mojoj interpretaciji, temeljenoj na https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market...ktop/worldwide, Romulansko zvjezdano carstvo (Unknown) skoro je tri puta zastupljenije nego Linux na desktopu. To temeljim na činjenici da su Klingonci preveliki barbari da surfaju internetom dok je Borg tradicionalno privrzen Microsoftu."

Dakle, u glupavom clanku nebitnog lika bez tehnickog znanja koji mora nesto napisati a trenutno je cool "Microsoft bad a Apple se ne reklamira kod nas pa ko ih jebe ergo Linux good", temeljem apsolutno nicega zakljucuje da "Unknown" mora biti Linux.

Isto tako, po trenutnim procjenama i statistikama, Ubuntu i ostale Debian bazirane desktop distribucije, zajedno sa jos par "vecih" distribucija, drze ~50% Linux Desktop trzista.

Vratimo se na bespredmetni Starcounter:

Oct 2024 - Oct 2025

Unknown: 8,25%
Linux: 3,86%

Jan 2020 - Dec 2020

Unknonw: 2,49%
Linux: 1,76%

Jan 2015 - Dec 2015

Unknown: 1,69%
Linux: 1,63%

Dakle, kada bi teza populistickog piskara bila tocna, to bi znacilo da na svakog Ubuntu(idnog) korisnika dolaze barem 3 Arčera i njima slicna lika, i to sa tendencijom rasta od 3 puta u zadnjih 10 godina. Hmhmhmhmhmh...

Dosta je zanimljiva situacija s "Linuxom" na dalekom ali bratskom Madagaskaru: https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market...top/madagascar koji je po pajdinim mokrim snovima de facto meka hackermana s divljim Linuxom kojime surfaju uokolo (pogledajte statistike od prethodnih godina kada je taj broj bio i do ~30%).

No dobro, da ipak donekle demistificiramo pricu, pa da privedem ovaj nedeljni rant kraju - "Unknown" je svaki Statcounteru nepoznati UA - sto moze biti svaki upit koji je prosao kroz malo tvrdji koorporativni firewall, posljedica malo jacih postavki privatnosti bilo kojeg preglednika ili zapravo nesto od opskurne ekipe koja koristi cudne OS-eve za danasnje pojmove, u cemu, jasno, vjerojatno sudjeluje i nekolicina Linux veseljaka, no nazalost naseg pajde iz clanka, vjerojatno 90% "Unknowna" cine Windows racunala iza firewallova velikih koorporacija...

U zadnjih 12 godina su desktop windowsi pali sa 90+% na trenutnih 66%.

A ti Bubba, ako imas problema sa zivcima iskaljuj se na svojim ukucanima ili kako bi rekli tako si odgovaraj mami.
