Dakle...novi dan...novi il stari bug za Linux Desktop koji pije zivce na slamcicu ako zelis koristiti hardwer do punog potencijala. Posto vec par dana eksperimentiram oko LAN/WLAN setupa u stanu mislio sam se rijesit kablovinja pa reko ajd da vidimo kolko WIFI moze progurat , ono ak je bar 80% sto Gbit LAN daje - prihvatit cu to kao kompromis. Je...nope. Glavna kanta i privatni lap (L15) imaju Intel AX200 WLAN adapter i primjetio sam da se oba na Router (Archer V2100) spajaju na max 234 MBit/s. Na Windowsima je to cca 800MBit/s na istim strojevima. Za normalno koristenje online me ne pere , veza mi tu gore ionek nejde prek 250. Al kad zelim nesto kopirat lokalno preko mreze - pad performansi je osjetan. Ugasio AX extenzije u Linux wlan modulu posto su neki s tim kemijali i iskljucio power saving opcije wlan adaptera. Bez pomaka. Ok...reko idem testirat sa onim Mediatek MT7921 sranjem sto me pred par mjeseci zezalo na Windowsu i Linuxu, zamjenio adapter u lapu i - vid vraga - spaja se sa 750MBit/s. Transfer podataka izmedu lapa (WLAN) i kompa (LAN) osjetno brzi. Cak bih rekao za mene prihvatljiv. So...nagradno pitanje glasi - WTF??? Intelove WLAN / LAN kartice su bar na glasu da dobro rade na Linuxu ali ako rade na 30% kapaciteta - that sucks...Jel ma neka caka koju propustam, neka crna magija koju moram nad kernel modulom izvesti da sve prosljaka onak kako treba? |

Ček, tebe brine što adapter se ne spaja na više brzine ili stvarno ne vuče više u radu? Napisao si u orig. postu da se ne spaja na više. Pretpostavljam da si brzinu mjerio do nekog kompa na LANu, a ne nekavih speedstest i sl ![]() Obično zavrtim u dockeru open speedtest za takve situacije... Slobodno mu pusti i AX, ne može škoditi. Probaj ga zaposliti malo pa vidi da li RX i TX bitrate idu više. Baci oko i na VHT-MCS 3, to je jako nisko (opet, idle...), AC ide do 9, AX i više, zaboravih do koliko, negdje 11-13 kao HE-MCS. Treba mi savjet/preporuka... skuzio sam da bi sa linuxom mogao bez beda pokriti više od 90% aktivnosti na kućnom kompu: - surfanje - torrenti - gledanje filmova i serija - lagano pisanje i čitanje dokumenata Planiram napraviti dual boot sa win10. Linux bi instalirao na ne win systemski SSD, kojeg bi prvo šrinkao u disk managementu od windowsa i ostavio unallocated space od cca 250-300 Gb. Koliko sam shvatio linux će kod instalacije prepoznati windowse i samo će modificirati boot tako da se bira koji OS će se učitati kod paljenja računala. Davno sam to zadnji puta radio, valjda je to bila kombinacija win95/98 sa nekom Slackware distribucijom linuxa (još imam negdje tu distribuciju dolazila je na 4 ili 6 CD-a), sjećam se da sam i kompajlirao kernel i svašta nešto... Uglavnom, nekako sam suzio izbor na: - Linux Mint 22.2 "Zara" (još ga moram probati) - LMDE 7 (Mint verzija bazirana na Debianu, a ne Ubuntuu, imam je već u VirtualBoxu) - Zorin 18 Core ( kao najbolja za prelazak sa Windowsa, ova core je osnovna, Pro se plaća i to nekih 40 USD, Core verziju već imam u VirtualBoxu) Što mislite o mojoj ideji? |

Drži se Minta kako je tomek napisao. Raditi će ti bez problema tako, ja imam dual boot s Win10. Kasnije kada sve složiš narediš što će ti se bootati default i možeš podesiti i koliko čeka na odabir. Kod sebe sam naredio da je default Mint i čeka 1s. ![]() Samo klinci kada žele nešto igrati na win odabiru win prilikom bootanja, ali čim pritisne bilo koju tipku više ne vrijedi ta 1s nego se mogu normalno kretati po GRUB-u i odabrati win. |

Glupo pitanje, toliko bazično da mi je neugodno pitati, ali jebem se s glupostima već par dana. Imam nekakav fuš, klijent ima VM-ove na AWS-u i kaže izbaci ga van svakih 15 min. Našao problem: Citiraj:
No nije to dovoljno, naravno..., klijent želi da ako je netko idle da svejedno izbaci van nakon 15 min, ali ako aktivno radi na mašinama, da ne izbaci. I to je ok, riješio sam i to. Keyboard input extenda period na dodatnih 15 min, sesija skače s idel u active. Ali neki dan, klijent je kopirao 50GB podataka i radio neki bakcup, lupio naredbu i otišao, sesija se prekinula nakon 15 min i naravno, sjebalo mu backup. Kak da napravim da ako netko nema nikakav keyboard input 15 min da ga izbaci, no ako vrti neku komandu (pa čak da ona bila top), da ne ubije sesiju. Kad se radi neki veći copy, sesija nema keyboard input i ode u idle state. AL2023 je u pitanju, naravno... Trenutno je složeno ovako: Citiraj:

Zato predlažem da napraviš cron sa onom gore ps naredbom i vidiš da li možeš logind-u reći da resetira idle timer ako detektira neki proces koji troši više od X% CPU-a. |

Ja ti moram reci da su me moje mladje i od mene daleko pametnije kolege prije jedno 5 godina naucile tmux carolijama a do tada sam napamet pamtio imena screen sesija i koristio akrobacije za prebacivanje izmedju prozova svake od tih sesija Tako da... treba polako sa starim ljudima, dajte im priliku...

Kod nas je tmux standard. Imamo Jump host preko kojeg mozemo na sve servere i tamo sam definirao kod kreiranja novog korisnika izmedu ostalog automatsko startanje tmux sessiona. Juniori me radi toga ne vole u pocetku al ne vodim demokraciju . Imam jednog starijeg i vrlo iskusnog dev-a koji kad se spoji na server lokalno uvijek jos starta dodatno screen session Prednost: ono sto radis unutar screen sessiona se ne vidi u bash povijesti ![]() |

nohup sam nedavno za python skriptu koristio koja je povlačila s jednog weba podatke da ih ne prepisujem... s time da sam stavio da iza svakog povlačenja ima random broj koliko da čeka (od 1 minute do 10). Lijepo puknuo skriptu na server, ssh nohup startaj izađi i dobiješ podatke kroz neko vrijeme ![]() random minute su da bi simulirao kao da korisnik klika ![]()

Ma ima nekakav cronjob koji mu zipa sve, šalje na drugu mašinu, raspakira tamo, zamjeni postojeće file-ove s ovima, pokrene aplikaciju, testira, ugasi i zapakira opet backup s današnjim datumom, ukratko. Citiraj:
