Osvježi stranicu neuspio update biosa

neuspio update biosa
Htio sam srediti stariji laptop za člana obitelji i prije reinstalacije os-a updateati i bios za slučaj da će mu trebati nešto što nema na starijoj verziji...


podaci o laptopu:
HP Probook 450 G3
trenutno W7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

podaci o biosu:
N78 Ver. 01.14

odavde skinuo zadnju verziju koju mi je nudilo nakon odabira w7 i 64 bita:

instalacija prošla u redu i nedugo nakon početka dizanja sustava potpuno plav ekran i error:

*** STOP: 0x000000A5 (0X000000000001000A, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

znači bez ikakvog teksta (na netu vidim da inače prije 0x000000A5 ide pusti tekst, a sad je bilo doslovno samo ovo gore u dva retka po sredini ekrana). ista stvar i u startup repair.

sreća pa sam kreirao recovery particiju i backupirao stariju verziju biosa što mi je nudilo na početku instalacije pa sam ga sad jednostavno downgradeao opet na sačuvanu 1.14 verziju i tu se os digne normalno.


nekakva ideja u čemu bi mogao biti problem i kako ga najjednostavnije riješiti?


net na brzinu za ovaj error kaže neusklađenost verzije os-a i verzije biosa, pitam se onda zašto mi je tu verziju službena stranica dala nakon odabira w7 i 64 bita (možda je u updateu samo do SP1 problem).


kužim da rješenje možda može biti na način da stavim najprije novi ssd i ramove (kako je planirano) i w10 pa nakon toga idem updateat bios al volio bi znati u čemu je sad ovaj problem

Ako sve radi sa starim biosom onda ostavi sve kako je. Ne cackaj mecku ako nema potrebe 😉

Ako postoji mogućnost skidanja BIOS updatea u obliku ISO filea pa podizanje kompa sa USB sticka na koji je upisan taj ISO to je poželjnije nego instalacija iz operativnog sustava.

To je kao da instaliraš Windowse ili Linux pa ako rade dobro nikad više ne instaliraš nijedan update.
BIOS update često rješava sigurnosne probleme za koje ne znaš za postoje i poboljšava kompatibilnost sa hardverom tako da je poželjno dići BIOS na noviju verziju ako je raspoloživa.

Secure boot/UEFI boot je možda po defaultu uključen u novoj verziji bios-a?
Probaj isključit, al nebih se s tim zamarao.
Flashiraj najnoviji bios, reset to defaults i onda instaliraj W10 LTSC IOT pa će član obitelji bit miran do 2032.
Ili ova opcija iz moga sig-a.

Moguće je BESPLATNO produžiti W10 sigurnosne nadogradnje do 2028!

Salu na stranu, sve stoji sto si rekao, ali ako je veca sansa da se opet zbricka onda bolje da ne pokusava opet s time.

Nekada je vrijedilo pravilo da se BIOS ne dira ako komp funkcionira OK. To je staro zlatno pravilo i vrijedilo je u doba kada je update BIOSa bio relativno riskantna operacija. Kako je ovo stariji hardware i kako kaže kolega Cuky, ne diraj BIOS.

Inače, generalni savjet kod tj. nakon update BIOSa je da se napravi factory reset BIOS postavki tako da budeš siguran da si na nuli.

Koliko imaš RAMa na tom laptopu? W10 potrebuje osjetno više nego W7.
