Isto kao u vrijeme Mantlea, kad je trebalo desetak radnika da to ubace besplatno devovima u najzvučnije igre na obostranu korist.

IMHO AMD bez problema može upucati silne nofce u dodatan razvoj i popularnost već gotovih rješenja poput DLSS Swapper, OptiScaler i Lossless Scaling, ako se već sami ne žele iz nule početi baviti s razvojem službene Radeon implementacije. Kamen spoticanja je naravno nVidia, jer svi spomenuti alati se oslanjanju na njihovu DLSS implementaciju, tak da bi vrlo lako moglo završiti neslavno, ako AMD po uzoru na ZLUDA-u (1 - 2) odlučiti biti pokrovitelj, nečega kaj iskorištava nVidiju, posebice, jer nVidia nipošto ne želi da ljudi koriste išta osim njihovih kartica, mada se koliko imamo prilike vidjeti iz priloženoga - GeForce hardver lijepo može zaobići bez neke prevelike muke.

Ali taj DLSS wrapper se promovira kao službeno rješenje, i sumnjam da će Apple imati problema zbog toga. Već se naširoko to testira, i što je još važnije, to radi bez intervencije developera igara, pa tako AMD može koristiti svoj upscaling praktički u svakoj novijoj igri s obzirom da one podržavaju ili DLSS ili FSR, ili oboje.

Po meni je ovo pitanje ekvivalentno pitanju podrške FreeSynca na Nevidija hardweru.

Da, u Apple kontekstu se spominje i CrossOver licenca tak da sve skupa može funkcionirati na način koji se opisuje u članku.

Kak god se okrene, gotova i funkcionalna rješenja već postoje, a AMD, ako želi itekak može iskoristiti DLSS Swapper, OptiScaler i Lossless Scaling.

Po meni je ovo pitanje ekvivalentno pitanju podrške FreeSynca na Nevidija hardweru.
Tu je nVidia na kraju popustila, pa sad FreeSync radi kak spada na G-Sync monitorima, jer su i oni sami zapravo iskoristili istu stvar iz DisplayPort standarda, ali zaključali kroz FPGA modul u monitoru. IMHO za DLSS ne budu samo tako pustili da im AMD na temelju njihovog rješenja gradi svoje implementacije, posebice, jer je nVidia potrošila ogromne svote da svim razvojim studijima nametne DLSS, samo da bi se Radeon jednostavno priključil na taj vagon kroz ove spomenute upscaling alate. Istinabog, moguće da ih više nije ni briga za to, sad kad su se skroz prebacili i fokusirali na AI čuda tehnike.
