The GeForce 576.02 driver update, released to address black‑screen and stability problems, may still cause issues. Some users report that GPU temperature readings are incorrect, which can lead to wrong clock speeds and voltages being applied. The issue seems tied to the “NvAPI_GPU_GetThermalSettings” API interface, which can become stuck at a fixed value. The only known workaround is a full system reboot. On the Guru3D forums, one user suggested that MSI Afterburner and Riva Statistic Server might be responsible. However, Alexey “Unwinder” Nicolaychuk, the author of those tools, responded that the bug lies in the driver itself and that rebooting after sleep is the only fix. As mentioned, the problem occurs after system sleep or when exiting power‑saving mode. Once the temperature sensor data is frozen, the card cannot adjust its clocks and voltages properly. This may affect the graphics card’s operation, but it shouldn’t cause any damage due to built-in sensors and failsafes into graphics cards. RTX 30 and RTX 40 cards may be affected by this issue as well. nVidia has not acknowledged the bug. PC Games Hardware, which also heard reports from its forum users, advised that users avoid this driver until nVidia issues a statement.

Igor's Lab uncovers 'hotspot issue' affecting all RTX 50-series GPUs — says it could compromise graphics card longevity

Igor's Lab has discovered a worrying trend among all nVidia Blackwell RTX 50-series graphics cards, including even faux-budget GPUs like the RTX 5060 Ti. According to a lengthy blog post the outlet published, most if not all RTX 50-series AIB partner cards are allegedly prone to high-temperature hotspots in the power delivery area, which could potentially damage these graphics cards after extended heavy use. The problem lies in the construction of power delivery systems for the affected graphics cards. Igor's Lab states that several components that make up the power delivery system, such as the FETs, coils, drivers, and traces connecting everything together, are grouped too close together, creating temperatures that can potentially deteriorate the power delivery system over the course of a card's life, potentially killing the card after just a few years of use.

The PCB, for instance, is made up of several thin copper layers that are connected with power planes. This causes high thermal density on the board, especially around the voltage converters. Power delivery components, responsible for feeding a GPU's supply rails (such as the aforementioned FETs, coils, and drivers), are often placed too close to each other on the PCB in an effort to keep the design as compact as possible, at the expense of thermal performance. The highly compact nature of these PCBs allegedly causes increased temperature output from the power delivery system, creating hotspots that can compromise the longevity of RTX 50-series graphics cards. Board partners could rectify this issue by using heavier-duty materials, which is commonplace in server and industrial GPUs. However, the product cost of these materials is supposedly too great for board partners to take advantage of them on consumer graphics cards.

Another issue Igor's Lab highlights are flaws in nVidia's Thermal Design Guide. This guide is a document made for all nVidia add-in board partners that serves as a thermal planning document for nVidia's reference PCB designs, aimed at helping AIB's create properly cooled nVidia graphics cards. Igor's Lab highlighted flaws in Nvidia's RTX 40-series guide, revealing that many of the document's parameters are specified under ideal environmental conditions, rather than being optimized for a worst-case scenario. Igor's Lab put a PNY RTX 5070 and a Palit RTX 5080 Gaming Pro OC under a thermal camera to demonstrate the aforementioned thermal issues. The RTX 5080 Gaming Pro OC was shown to have a hotspot area right where the main NVVDDs are located, sandwiched between the rear display outputs and the GPU die, measuring 80.5 °C. By contrast, the GPU core was sitting at 70 °C.

The PNY RTX 5070 was far worse, measuring 107.3 °C in the same area due to its significantly shorter PCB (the GPU core was sitting at a much chillier 69.7 °C). All of the power delivery components are located between the display outputs and the GPU, making the hotspot even hotter than the RTX 5080 (which had some of its power delivery components spread around the right, top, and left of the PCB). The main problem is that PNY's RTX 5070 has fewer phases than the Palit RTX 5080, forcing the entire power delivery system to cope with higher current density, which in turn increases temperatures.

The main issue with both cards is that inadequate cooling is being applied to keep the power delivery system as cool as possible (or at least cool enough to ensure longevity). Neither card was using any sort of thermal pads to connect the power delivery portion of the PCB, where the hotspot is located, to each GPU's respective backplate. Igor applied a thermal mod to both graphics cards, revealing a massive reduction in temperatures, particularly on the RTX 5070. The RTX 5080's power delivery hotspot temperature went down from 80.5C to 70.3C, after applying thermal putty o the backplate around the hotspot area. The RTX 5070 likewise went from 107.3 °C to a more sustainable "well below 95 °C" — though that's still quite high.

Igor's Lab's findings show key improvements that could be made to RTX 50-series graphics cards in the power delivery area. Many of these graphics cards have a hotspot area around the VRM area that can far exceed temperatures on the GPU die itself. Allegedly, 80 degrees is close to the limit at which long-term electromigration and "ageing effects" can occur, which could eventually cause these graphics cards to die over the years of use.

Eno i crveni odlučili stavljat samsungov RAM koji se manje kuha.

Rekao je kolega @TheExiled da je to sa Wave Distribution stranice a koliko mi je poznato oni su isključivo veletrgovac tako da je to cijena bez njemačkog poreza na dodanu vrijednost tako da toj cijeni treba dodati 19 posto pa je realna cijena otprilike €650 pa još desetak posto marže trgovca i eto cijene preko €700 kako se i nalaze po maloprodaji.

Ako može tojest ako ima pravnu osnovu to je njegovo apsolutno i legitimno pravo. Istina da to izaziva veliku dozu ljubomore i duševne boli kod onih koji nisu u mogućnosti odraditi isto ali to je neka druga tema.

Ja sam isto odradio (na tuđi račun) u nekoliko navrata i mogu kazati da je to izrazito zadovoljstvo, i to za sve involvirane stranke. Rijetko kada u ljudskim interakcijama svi dobivaju, a kupovanje na firmu je jedna od takvih prilika.

Moram priznati da nemam taj luksuz kupnje bez PDV-a, odnosno nemam svoju firmu niti imam takvu mogućnost u onoj kojoj radim (nije AMD), ali sam obzirom na dosadašnju raspravu o RTX 5000 seriji, namjerno stavil taj screenshot, pošto su cijene itekak stvarne i popularne, posebice, kod "zovi čovika" ljudi kad često traže komad više od poznatog forumaša koji se radi tih i takvih više ne zadržava na ovim prostorima. RTX 5000 serija je u hardverskom i softverskom pogledu ispala totalno razočaranje, do te mjere da se nekad davno renomirana imena (1 - 2) aktivno sramote, pokušavajući opravdati nVidijine uzastopne zajebe, jer im nije jasno (odnosno plaćeni su da u svojim analizama ispadnu gluplji, nego zapravo jesu) da ta firma više nema koristi od prodaje grafičkih kartica.

Ljudi prodaju svoje stavove i za manje a pošto smo svjedočili izvlačenju imena i prezimena osoba u lutriji koja garantira mjesto u redu za kupovinu grafičke kartice cijene od €3000 i više te uništenje inventara dječjeg vrtića zbog reda čekanja ispred jednog dućana računalne opreme na dan lansiranja iste te grafičke kartice, ne čude me opskurne individue sa bespuća YouTube servisa koji svoj obraz jeftino prodaju i smatraju ljude budalama uvjeravajući ih u određene stvari koje nemaju uporište. I to djeluje jer ne treba dalje ići od pogleda na koju stranicu ove teme unatrag i na poruke koje je ostavio kolega @slavonac90.

IMHO išlo bude to još jedno vrijeme kao i u slučaju Intela, koji sad propada do te mjere da će ostati mrtvo slovo na papiru, jer se Uprava i menandžment vode za tim da je problem u "treneru", pa se takav kadar uredno rotira ko i kod "naših Vatrenih", jer tak jasno da je jedan čovjek istovremeno i problem i rješenje. Daleko od toga da je nVidia na putu do propasti, ali spominjem Intel u tom kontekstu, čisto radi (svojevremeno) identično agresivnih PR + marketing kampanja, koje budu kad-tad kod većine - izgubile svoj sjaj.

Pretpostavljam da je cijena tih kartica takva kakva jeste zbog toga što je trošak propagande uračunat u cijenu. Ljudi su spremni platiti više da im CR7 proda mobitel, pa je tako valjda i ovdje.

Iz kojeg razloga me imaš potrebu prozivati? Što sam ja toliko krivo napisao da si daješ za pravo vrijeđati me? Jesam li ja tebe ikada u takvom ili sličnom kontekstu spominjao?
Ne smijem reći da je rtx 5060 ti ok grafa za 600 eura da se ekipa ne propinje na zadnje noge? Smirite malo doživljaje, nisam došao tražiti pomoć oko odabira grafičke jer točno znam što želim, iako se to kosi sa vašim poimanjem "bolje kupnje", nego iznosim svoj stav i neke činjenice, pritom ne napadajući, niti vrijeđajući ikoga.
Ovo je Nvidia tema i komentiram Nvidia grafičku, a ekipa koja je očigledno pristrana crvenima dolazi konstantno pljuvati, te agresivno nametati da je Radeon bolja kupnja, a svi koji kupuju Nvidiu su idioti, jer su oni najpametniji i samo njihovo mišljenje se uvažava

Dakle kod nas možemo očekivati onda i 5% veću cijenu od rtx 4060 modela, taman jedna rtx 5060 ti 16gb kod nas bude nekih 650 eura i slabija od rtx 4070, što ju pored potonje čini totalno neisplativom kupnjom, bravo Nvidia
Najisplativije će biti preskočiti novu seriju u cjelosti i nadat se da za 3 godine bude bolji scenarij, ali poznavajući Nvidiu, teško.

Po meni cijena od 650 eura ne bi bila toliko ni loša da se rtx 5060 ti približi rtx 5070 kao što je bio slučaj sa rtx 3060 ti i rtx 3070, ali mislim da ovaj puta razlika performansi bude veća, pa ova nova nema smisla pored rtx 4070, jer sumnjam da bude jača ili jednaka njoj.

Meni se ova rtx 5060 ti 16gb po cijeni od 550 eura koliko su kod nas za keš, ne čini uopće loša kupnja.

Mislim da ću se počastiti s jednom, taman mi bude dovoljna za ono što mi treba, dobro da se nisam zaletio i kupio rtx 4060 ti prije mjesec dana, jer mi se ista čini pored ove nove besmislena kupnja.
Još kada se pojave rtx 5060 ti 8 gb verzije za 500 eura, ove stare rtx 4060 ti ukoliko im ne spuste cijenu, mogu jedino na otpis.
I onda u jednom trenutku odlučiš kupiti RTX 5060 Ti 16GB za 550€, pa krenu kojekakve računice i opravdavanja, umjesto da odeš i kupiš karticu, igraš se i nemaš brige.

Pa nisam primjetio toliko negodovanja za skuplji rang koliko za ovaj niži...ja koji gledam niži rang ni ne očekujem brda i doline s obzirom na cijenu, nego pokušavam ostati u nekim realnim gabaritima, jer mi je sasvim logično da će na jeftinijim grafama biti manji napredak sa performansama, jer je uvijek kolko para tolko muzike.
Ja uspoređujem cijene kod nas, a pasti će cijena i toj rtx 5060 ti sigurno s obzirom da viša klasa već ide dolje.
Kod nas se za cijenu od 550€ nudi jedan-jedini model, tj. Palit GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Infinity 3 i to u svega tri-četiri domaća dućana koji stvarno nude komad ili dva i to je to.

Kupi dok ih još ima i miran si, jer ne budu ih vječno držali na stanju, posebice po toj cijeni, obzirom da je sljedeća najjeftinija u Gigabyte izdanju po 600€-650€.

Gledao sam danas neki benchmark, 5060 Ti 8GB u usporedbi s 16GB verzijom je totalna katastrofa, i to već na 1080p sa DLSS. Upravo je kriminalno da su to stavili u prodaju, pa, tko kupuje, pripazite. Ako je 16GB 600€, ova od 8 vrijedi brat bratu 150 i to da dobiješ uz nju voucher za bar jednu igru.

nVidiju lagano boli briga kaj netko misli o tome, jer im prodaja switcheva donosi više prihoda i profita od grafičkih kartica.
Baš gledam rezultate za zadnji kvartal prošle godine, data center 35,6 milijardi, gaming & AI PC 2,5 milijarde, lol.
Čudo je da uopće rade grafe za gaymere a pošto im to očigledno otkida bar djelić kapaciteta za ovo prvo nije nikakvo čudo da su sa rtx 5xxx ljudima uvalili zadnji šrot.
Budemo vidjeli kako će se stvari razvijati ali čini mi se da bi se "AI" hype uskoro mogao ispuhati, plus što se polako događa ono što se npr. dogodilo bitcoinu, prvo ga se rudarilo sa procesorima a onda se pojavio specijaliziran hardver koji je bio višestruko efikasniji.

Tako da jednog lijepog dana jadnom Jensenu možda opet budu bitni gaymuri, kao u good old days


P.S. 5060ti 16gb nema smisla pored 5070, pa makar ova imala 12gb.

To su marketinške kategorije, ništa više. "AI" je trenutno LLM koji generira tekst sukladno unaprijed obučenom transformatoru a na temelju par sto vagona diskova podataka.
A to što još luđe nazivaju AGI je isto to, ali ti može rezervirat hotel i rent a car
Kad ponestane podataka za trening bit će zabavno. Naravno moguće da sam u krivu i da Altman & co. zapravo najiskrenije misle da je pozitronski mozak kakav ima commander Data iza ugla, ali čisto sumjam u to.

IMHO nisi u krivu, jer već im ponestaje materijala da ljude uvjere kako imamo Sci-Fi AI nalik J.A.R.V.I.S.-u, ali nVidia će si svakak fino naplatiti svoj trud.

Iz kojeg razloga me imaš potrebu prozivati? Što sam ja toliko krivo napisao da si daješ za pravo vrijeđati me? Jesam li ja tebe ikada u takvom ili sličnom kontekstu spominjao?
Ne smijem reći da je rtx 5060 ti ok grafa za 600 eura da se ekipa ne propinje na zadnje noge? Smirite malo doživljaje, nisam došao tražiti pomoć oko odabira grafičke jer točno znam što želim, iako se to kosi sa vašim poimanjem "bolje kupnje", nego iznosim svoj stav i neke činjenice, pritom ne napadajući, niti vrijeđajući ikoga.
Ovo je Nvidia tema i komentiram Nvidia grafičku, a ekipa koja je očigledno pristrana crvenima dolazi konstantno pljuvati, te agresivno nametati da je Radeon bolja kupnja, a svi koji kupuju Nvidiu su idioti, jer su oni najpametniji i samo njihovo mišljenje se uvažava
Kolega, mislio sam Vam napisati podužu poruku ali uvaženi kolega @TheExiled je sve fino sumirao pa Vaše riječi i na ovoj stranici dolaze do izražaja. I molim Vas točno gdje sam Vam uputio eksplicitnu uvredu? Moj komentar se odnosi na to da ste pali pod utjecaj marketinga a ono što je dalje vidljivo iz Vaših izlaganja je to da vrlo slabo do nikako baratate materijom. Ne želim ulaziti u gro kontradiktornih insinuacija koje ste naveli u ovoj poruci jer pretpostavljate nešto što nitko nije rekao kao npr. da su idioti svi koji kupuju nVidia grafičke kartice, što apsolutno nije točno. Jedini "problematični" dio je taj što ste Vi "popušili" priču da je GeForce RTX 5060 Ti dobra grafička kartica i poželjna kupnja za proračun od €600 što to nikako nije. Povrh toga, došli ste ovdje sa stavom "to je to" a niste naišli na odobravanje pa je lakše sada agresivno se braniti od izmišljenih neprijatelja, što vanjskih što unutrašnjih, neuspješno glumeći žrtvu. Ne zanima nas što ćete kupiti niti nas je briga kako ćete ju platiti ali kao i Vi, imamo pravo ovdje komentirati dubiozne stvari kao što je kupovina navedene grafičke kartice za određeni iznos a to što se to Vama ne sviđa i što se osjećate prozvanim i ismijanim jer ste se u tome našli i prepoznali je isključivo Vaš problem.

To su marketinške kategorije, ništa više. "AI" je trenutno LLM koji generira tekst sukladno unaprijed obučenom transformatoru a na temelju par sto vagona diskova podataka.
A to što još luđe nazivaju AGI je isto to, ali ti može rezervirat hotel i rent a car
Kad ponestane podataka za trening bit će zabavno. Naravno moguće da sam u krivu i da Altman & co. zapravo najiskrenije misle da je pozitronski mozak kakav ima commander Data iza ugla, ali čisto sumjam u to.
Znam, al ne pričam ja o komercijalnim rješenjima u vidu generatora teksta ili osobnih asistenata koji rade praktički ništa drugo nego pročešljaju ogromnu bazu podataka u kratko vrijeme, čisto da korisnik ne mora sam kopati informacije... Scam Altman je, IMO, ništa drugo nego ono što mu samo ime govori - scam
Postoje open source projekti koji su miljama ispred tih centraliziranih "AI-a" samo još nitko praktički ne zna za njih , no to je već razgovor za drugu temu...

IMHO nisi u krivu, jer već im ponestaje materijala da ljude uvjere kako imamo Sci-Fi AI nalik J.A.R.V.I.S.-u, ali nVidia će si svakak fino naplatiti svoj trud.
nVidia će definitivno profitirati - u to ne sumnjam

Ovo su tvoje riječi unatrag nekoliko zadnjih stranica, odnosno vidiš i sam da komentiraš iste stvari i nVidia gluposti na isti način kao i mi ostali.

I onda u jednom trenutku odlučiš kupiti RTX 5060 Ti 16GB za 550€, pa krenu kojekakve računice i opravdavanja, umjesto da odeš i kupiš karticu, igraš se i nemaš brige.

Kod nas se za cijenu od 550€ nudi jedan-jedini model, tj. Palit GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Infinity 3 i to u svega tri-četiri domaća dućana koji stvarno nude komad ili dva i to je to.

Kupi dok ih još ima i miran si, jer ne budu ih vječno držali na stanju, posebice po toj cijeni, obzirom da je sljedeća najjeftinija u Gigabyte izdanju po 600€-650€.
Prozivam li ikoga u svojim postovima ili insinuiram da je glupan jer nešto kupuje? Namećem li agresivno svoj stav ili ga jednostavno iznosim, pa makar se ne sviđa većini?
Iz priloženog se vidi da sam u citiranim porukama komentirao grafičku koja još nije izašla, a zatim kada je izašla kako ju možda i kupim jer po meni i nije toliko loša kupnja s obzirom na konkurenciju.
Opravdanja su krenula još od posta koji sam ostavio prije mjesec dana vezanog uz nadolazeću rtx 5060 ti, gdje je krenulo odmah drvlje i kamenje kako će to biti neisplativa i glupa kupnja, ali da, upecao sam se na provokacije pobornika crvenog tabora i to mi je greška.
Da me nisi uputio oko kupnje, eto ne bi znao što činiti, hvala ti na tome!
Vjerovao ili ne, nije mi sila kupiti grafu da ju imam po izlasku, opušteno, ima vremena, nije nešto od krucijalne važnosti, tako da ne beri brigu oko toga hoću li i kada ću kupiti grafičku

S kojom to materijom slabo raspolažem? Asti filozofije oko kupnje komada hardvera namijenjenog za igre, pa ti sad raspolažeš ne znam kakvom materijom, a ja eto ne
Ja sam pao pod marketing Nvidije, a vi koji ste pobornici Radeona niste pali pod njihov marketing? Zvuči malo licemjerno, ne?
U cijeloj temi najviše postova ima kako je cijela ova serija promašaj, te se ništa u nekom pozitivnom kontekstu ne smije napisati da ekipa ne skače na zadnje noge s argumentima kako je Nvidia smeće.
Ne osjećam se uopće kao žrtva, a još manje glumim istu, nego jednostavno ne dijelimo isto mišlljenje, a kada me se proziva reagiram....daj si truda pa pogledaj zadnjih par stranica teme, te postove u rtx 4 xxx temi i komentare upućene mi jer sam stavio u razmatranje kupnju nove serije Nvidie.
Nisam nigdje rekao da je super kupnja, ali da postoji neki dobar izbor, ne postoji.
Evo što je po tebi dobra kupnja do 600 eura, a da nije rabljeno?

Nitko te ne provocira, niti su tu ljudi crveni, zeleni, plavi ili ljubičasti, kupi kaj god te volja, ali ne budu radi toga prestali komentari kak je RTX 5000 ispala najveći promašaj u povijesti nVidije.

I to su ti svi već rekli u nebrojeno navrata i dok se ti svađaš, RTX 5060 Ti 16GB bude nestala iz dućana po toj cijeni koju preferiraš i onda bude opet priča kak se tebe napada i provocira.
