Nije problem prikupljenje podataka vec prodaja tih podataka i profiliranje koje na kraju moze (potencijalno) negativno utjecati na tebe direktno. Na primjer: osiguravajuca drustva. No to nije ograniceno samo na MS , tu su i Google i Apple odavno omastili prste i posto je debeli OT u ovoj temi - googlaj malo.

Ja ne kažem da tebe osobno treba biti briga. Do privatnosti ti je ili stalo ili ti nije stalo. Mene ne zanima eurovizija, tebe ne zanima privatnost. Tko može bilo kome od nas dokazati da smo u krivu?

Možda jedan malo manje specifičan primjer od ovih što je Tomek naveo; ljudi ponekad (često) kažu neke stvari koje ne bi kazali da znaju da netko sluša. Ne mora to biti nešto ne znam kako loše ili ne mora uopće biti loše. Ali (za sada ne vjerujem da naši organi imaju tu mogućnost) takve neke bezazlene stvari se mogu koristiti za iznudu u raznim situacijama. Ne treba nikada podcijeniti odlučnost sitničavih birokrata u tome da nameću svoju volju.

Ne mora to biti svakome relevantno, ali konkretno znam za neke primjere među poznanicima gdje su razne gradske službe/načelnici doslovno ucjenjivali tražeći da se nešto odradi (što inače nemaju nikako pravo tražiti) kako bi se ljudima nešto "omogućilo".

i napisao sam da mene osobno nije briga. Koga je briga neka ga bude briga. Mene nije briga, napisao sam svoj dojam kao korisnik. Tebe je taj dio mog posta zainteresirao, pa si ga dodatno naglasio.

Mladene, čitajući tebe čitam genezu nastanka društva kojeg prividno nije briga nizašto, osim za vlastiti komfor i potrošnju. Nebriga je na kraju krajeva lijenost. Oni uvijek daju dvije opcije i ljudi najčešće biraju onu kratkoročno lakšu. Zato što ih "nije briga".

Ali ovo stvarno više nema nikakve veze s predmetnom temom tako da obustavljam.

Samo sam napisao svoje korisničko viđenje windowsa 11 i da me nije briga kaj i ako prodaju moje podatke....nemam problem sa osiguranjem auta, HZZO dopunsko i lokalni načelnik me nije prisiljavao na ništa.

MS živi od prodaje business softvera, stvarno mislite da bi jedna korporacija tipa Airbus/ThyssenKrupp koristila njihov softver samo da bi im MS pokrao sve interne komunikacije i IP pa ih prodao Lockheedu/Raytheonu?
Za to je zadužen NSA.

Ok....mali rant...



Kao i svaka korporacija gladni su love. A lova (i pohlepa) kvari ljude. Windows je odavno prestao biti "Cash Cow" za MS zato se orijentira na Cloud, reklame i sakupljanje podataka koristenja OS-a. MS nije nista bolji nit gori od ostatka ekipe (da je nebi bilo kompletne situacije sa Recall farsom i izbjegavanja direktnih odgovora od strane Managementa sto i kako tocno taj softwer radi). Bez obzira dal s tim podacima zeli trenirat svoj AI ili koristiti iste jer hoce moj recept za cevape sa spekom preuzet (yep predobri su) - pogresno je. U Etickom racunalnom svijetu takve stvari bi trebale biti OPT IN a ne ukljucene po defaultu (ili ukljucene nakon nekog updejta iako je korisnik opciju iskljucio). I nije bas da MS nema povijest da se neciji Account hakira (iako je veca sansa da je korisnik - glup) pa ti podaci procure negdje. Druga strana - u najboljem slucaju - da se podaci spremaju samo lokalno - opet zivimo u svijetu gdje pogotovo u danasnje vrijeme treba biti krajnje oprezan - profilirat ljude na temelju skupljenih podataka nije problematicno s obzirom na kolicinu podataka koje sipamo sve po sud - hocemo ili necemo. Nekad smo prihvacali to skupljanje podataka jer smo dobivali kvalitetan softwer zauzvrat - besplatno (google) i uvijek je bila (odredena) doza eticnosti iza firme. No kao sto se ljudi mijenjaju tako i proijekcija i apetiti firmi sto je ok u kapitalistickom svijetu no postoji onaj faktor ljudskosti/eticnosti koji se pri tom nebi smio mijenjat. Al eto hebiga. Plus MS svoje produkte ne daje korisnicima besplatno. Cemu onda takva sranja? Korporacije sve vise pokazuju da su korisnici za njih samo ovce koje treba izmusti gdje god mogu - bez obzira kako i dali je to korektno.

Nekidan je kolegica stavila W11. Pri loginu tražio se PIN pa me zamolila da ga maknem. Sve upute na netu se nisu poklapale sa Settingsima. Pa sam uključio uključeni(!) PIN, reset i onda isključio. I do tada joj ne treba PIN pri loginu.
Totalna debilana.

Po meni, MS je definitivno manje zlo od Google-a, a Apple je pak manje zlo od MS-a, kaj se privatnosti tiče.

Isto tak, sama telemetrija koju MS prikuplja more se namjestiti u "Diagnostics & Feedback" u postavkama, gdje se uostalom nalazi i "View diagnostic data" pa svatko more vidjeti koje se informacije šalju do MS-a.

Podaci koji se šalju su dovoljno anonimizirani tak da meni ne predstavljaju problem. Windows + Firefox su mi idealna kombinacija.

Iako, na laptopima nažalost nijedan drugi browser osim Edge-a nema smisla, ako je baterija bitna. Ne volim Edge u trenutnom stanju jer su iz brzog i laganog browsera ga pretvorili u nakaradu s guranjem MSN-a, Binga i Copilota. Ali eto, kome se da potrošiti 10 minuta za inicijalno konfiguriranje more dobiti fantastičan browser. Meni koji svako malo nekaj prtlja i instalira OS se ne da pa mi je lakše koristiti Firefox.

Windows sa namještenim diagnostics + Firefox sa uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger + PiHole je moja idealna kombinacija.

I naravno, forsiranje DMA promjena s kojima je moguće deinstalirati Edge, maknuti web search is samog Windows searcha, i maknuti vijesti iz Widgeta tak da samo pokazuju korisne stvari tipa vrijeme, reminderi, Spotify itd.

Najlakše je provjeriti koristeći upute iz bloga:

Prije toga je potrebno disejblati UCPD driver i napraviti restart kako bi se maknula zaštita editiranje tog registry key-a. Najlakše je preko Sysinternalsovog Autorunsa - maknuti "Hide Windows entries iz Option menia, i onda maknuti kvačicu sa "UCPD" iliti User Choice Protection Drivera. Vratiti driver natrag nakon promjene regije.

Meni youtube onaj 1080p Premium bitrate ne radi više na Firefoxu. Koristim Firefox već skoro 10 godina ali ozbiljno ratmišljam da prijeđem na nešto drugo.

Radi normalni 1080p ali ne i premium 1080p. Radi prvih nekoliko sekundi i onda samo učitava i učitava.....

možda adblock imaš, znam da sam negdje pročito da su baš to počeli radit, buffering
Adblock za youtube je disejblan i imam youtube premium. Problem je samo s youtube premium bitrateom. Sve ostalo radi.

Koja je razlika izmedu 1080p premium i 4k? Daj link na neki video konkretan koji ti ne radi pa cekiram.

Moram priznati da ne kužim taj Brave, jer koliko god se prezentiraju kao web-preglednik fokusiran na privatnost i blokiranje reklama, zapravo nisu ništa pretjerano bolji od ostalih Chromium preglednika.

Brave is a privacy-focused browser, which automatically blocks most advertisements and website trackers in its default settings. Users can turn on optional ads that reward them for their attention in the form of Basic Attention Tokens (BAT), which can be used as a cryptocurrency or to make donations to registered websites and content creators. Brave earns revenue from ads by taking a 15% cut of publisher ads and a 30% cut of user ads. User ads are notification-style pop-ups, while publisher ads are viewed on or in association with publisher content. Brave expects to generate revenue from selling Basic Attention Tokens (BATs) to advertisers, letting users earn them while viewing ads and content.
