Kupio na 6i nešto tamo u ljeto 2016, holdao 2 god. I prodao na 32 pred kraj ljeta prošle god., pisao tu na forumu koji mjesec kasnije da je 17 baksi super ulazna cijena (kad se mislilo da ce cjelokupno tržište kapitulirati), kupio tad, prodao pred nekolko mjeseci na 28(nisam imao muda cekat double top)

Btw.dobar dio "ulaganja" intela sto kolega spominje je samo bacanje love poslovnim partnerima da ih se drži na lancu.
Amdovo ulaganje je nebrojeno outa manje ali i skoro pa nebrojeno outa ucinkovitije, isto tak da intel nije tolko proširen po ostalim granama, bio bi u puno lošijoj poziciji odnosno manjoj zaradi.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X, 3970X and 3990X launch dates leaked

AMD is planning three Threadripper 3000 SKUs: 3960X, 3970X and 3990X. The first two will be unveiled on November 5th, but the embargo on sales and reviews will be lifted on November 19th.

On November 5th AMD will also unveil TRX40 chipset and motherboard makers will have a green light to showcase their TRX40 motherboards. However, they will also not be available for sale until November 19th.

Prema onome kaj kola Internetima, cijene bi išle od kakvih $1000 za početni 24-core TR3 do skoro $2.400 za 64-core čudovište. Intel je do jučer za slične nofce prodaval Intel Core i9-9980XE.

AMD’s Mark Papermaster has just confirmed that the companies engineers are currently in the design phase of the Zen 5 CPU architecture.
Details were scarce on what we’ll see on the Zen 5 design, but during the EPYC Horizon executive event, AMD confirmed their leapfrog approach for chip design was paying off, and that their long term roadmap was looking extremely healthy.


Earlier this year, an engineer at AMD accidentally confirmed Zen 5’s existence by listing it as an accomplishment on LinkedIn.


From what little we know about Zen 5, it will be produced on TSMC’s 5nm process. Aside from that, we can gather it will support next-generation memory, as we know that Zen 3 will be the final series of processors supporting the older DDr4 standards, and also mark the end of the legacy/backwards compatibility promise AMD made back in 2017 for both the server and mainstream line up (AM4).

Oh, and speaking of the EPYC Horizon event, AMD wheeled out TSMC’s Godfrey Cheng (who serves as TSMC’s head of Global Marketing head) in an effort to assure customers that TSMC could handle the capacity demands of AMD.


“In raw aggregate capacity, we’re actually three times the capacity of our next nearest foundry competitor. This means that we have approximately 12,000,000 12-inch equivalent wafers in terms of raw capacity.”
He then went on to state that their “N7 node has actually been very successful.” and that they’d been able to ramp up production quickly, the fastest in any node on TSMC’s own history.

During EGX 2019 last weekend, it's been confirmed by Digital Foundry that the PlayStation 5 SoC supposed codenames Gonzalo, Oberon, and Prospero are indeed real. From tests that have surfaced online in the past few months, we can deduce that the console's CPU clock speed will be 3.2 GHz. Coupled with what we know about the CPU, such as the 8 cores and 16 threads, this means that the PlayStation 5 CPU will be quite good, especially compared to today's consoles and that it likely won't have trouble supporting full backward compatibility with the entire PlayStation library.

AMD Q3 FY 2019 Earnings Report: Party Like It’s 2005

Today AMD announced their third quarter earnings for the 2019 fiscal year, and AMD has not seen revenue like this for a long time – in fact this is the highest quarterly revenue since 2005 for the company.
AMD’s revenue jumped 9% year-over-year to $1.8 billion, and at least as importantly, AMD had gross margins of 43%, which is up 3% over last year, and the highest margins they’ve seen since 2012.
