Dakle...novi dan...novi il stari bug za Linux Desktop koji pije zivce na slamcicu ako zelis koristiti hardwer do punog potencijala. Posto vec par dana eksperimentiram oko LAN/WLAN setupa u stanu mislio sam se rijesit kablovinja pa reko ajd da vidimo kolko WIFI moze progurat , ono ak je bar 80% sto Gbit LAN daje - prihvatit cu to kao kompromis. Je...nope. Glavna kanta i privatni lap (L15) imaju Intel AX200 WLAN adapter i primjetio sam da se oba na Router (Archer V2100) spajaju na max 234 MBit/s. Na Windowsima je to cca 800MBit/s na istim strojevima. Za normalno koristenje online me ne pere , veza mi tu gore ionek nejde prek 250. Al kad zelim nesto kopirat lokalno preko mreze - pad performansi je osjetan. Ugasio AX extenzije u Linux wlan modulu posto su neki s tim kemijali i iskljucio power saving opcije wlan adaptera. Bez pomaka. Ok...reko idem testirat sa onim Mediatek MT7921 sranjem sto me pred par mjeseci zezalo na Windowsu i Linuxu, zamjenio adapter u lapu i - vid vraga - spaja se sa 750MBit/s. Transfer podataka izmedu lapa (WLAN) i kompa (LAN) osjetno brzi. Cak bih rekao za mene prihvatljiv. So...nagradno pitanje glasi - WTF??? Intelove WLAN / LAN kartice su bar na glasu da dobro rade na Linuxu ali ako rade na 30% kapaciteta - that sucks...Jel ma neka caka koju propustam, neka crna magija koju moram nad kernel modulom izvesti da sve prosljaka onak kako treba?

Malo mi je neugodno jednom Linux magu poput tebe uopće nuditi mišljenje AI-a, ali možda ti je nešto od ovoga promaklo pa probaj...

Malo mi je neugodno jednom Linux magu poput tebe uopće nuditi mišljenje AI-a, ali možda ti je nešto od ovoga promaklo pa probaj...

Hvala na pokusaju ali - ono sta vrijedi iz onog sto je sam GPT zakljucio sam vec probao (pise gore u postu). Ostalo je klasicni AI slop nazalost.

A što ti pokazuje router kad se spojiš s tim intel adapterom?
Kako vidi klijenta, na kojem bandu, širini, rx/tx,...?
Na strani linux klijenta isto možeš to sve lijepo pogledati

Kako vidi klijenta, na kojem bandu, širini, rx/tx,...?
Na strani linux klijenta isto možeš to sve lijepo pogledati

Hm...router ili nije pricljiv ili sam ja preglup (ne iskljucujem , mreze mi nisu jaca strana) naci ikakav smisleni info na tom cudu....hovewer evo sa Linux strane:

Napisao si u orig. postu da se ne spaja na više.
Pretpostavljam da si brzinu mjerio do nekog kompa na LANu, a ne nekavih speedstest i sl
Obično zavrtim u dockeru open speedtest za takve situacije...
Slobodno mu pusti i AX, ne može škoditi.

Ovo gore izgleda ok, ali kao da si pustio dok je adapter bio idle pa je spustio na niže brzine što je normalno ponašanje.
Probaj ga zaposliti malo pa vidi da li RX i TX bitrate idu više.
Baci oko i na VHT-MCS 3, to je jako nisko (opet, idle...), AC ide do 9, AX i više, zaboravih do koliko, negdje 11-13 kao HE-MCS.
Ako stvarno ne ide više od 233, kao da radi single stream, a driver prijavljuje 2 streama: NSS 2.
Možeš izguglati MCS tablice pa ćeš vidjeti kolike su phy brzine za sync.

  • Ugasio AX extenzije u Linux wlan modulu posto su neki s tim kemijali i iskljucio power saving opcije wlan adaptera. Bez pomaka.
  • Transfer podataka izmedu lapa (Mediatek MT7921 WLAN) i kompa (LAN) osjetno brzi.
Neznam. Brijem da je neki firmware Bug , sve kaj sam probal skemijat nije pomoglo." It is what it is". U lapu ce ostat onda ovaj Mediatek zasad, mozda su ispeglali Bugove. A za glavni komp bi bio nice feature da se mogu rijesiti 25m kabla al hebaj ga, ostavit cu ga na kablu i bok.

Ovo mi toliko ide na q da se Win 11 ISO i ja gledamo opako vec neko vrijeme. Ne razumijem kako su to uspjeli sprckati i kako to nije vec dodatno eksalirano, pa zar ja i tri i pol drugih usera koristimo SMB koji ne radi na v22?
