Koju se przilicu isplati bolje uzet nec 2500a ili pioneer 107, koja je bolja? I koja je razlika između Nec-a 2500 i 2500a?

Pioneer je bolji čitač i manje izbirljiv kod medija

Imam 106D i dobar je
prijatelj ima 107D i čita kaj mu pržilica i dvd rom nije htio čitati.

Meni je snimao i na kvarkove, NEC 1300A nije htio

BTW svi hvale Pioneer, pitam se zašto (više od 5g proizvodnje dvd pržilica)

POSTOJI SAMO NEC2500A, samo neki u cjenicima zovu to 2500, i naravno sad ima novi 2510.

NEC Introduces Chipset For 16x Rewritable DVD Drives

NEC has announced a new DVD writer chipset offering 16x DVD-R and DVD+R writing speeds. Here's part of their press release:
NEC Electronics Corporation (TSE: 6723) and its subsidiary in Europe, NEC Electronics (Europe) GmbH, today introduced a chipset for rewritable DVD drives that supports 16x recording speed in DVD-R and DVD+R formats. The improved efficiency enables users to record high data volumes on DVD recorders and personal computers in approximately half the time required by previous 8x speed devices. Compliant with recording and playback formats such as DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, and DVD-RAM, the new chipset enables OEMs to easily configure rewritable DVD drives capable of handling all major standards.

The chipset consists of the µPD63635 digital signal processor (DSP) with ATAPI interface, and the µPC3335 analog signal processor (ASP), which controls the laser and servo systems of the optical pickup unit. The µPD63635's new LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) driver, 50% reduction of clock jitter, write strategy for high-precision control of the recording laser power, and high logic speed enabled by optimizing the design flow in C, together with the µPC3335's high-bandwidth amplifier optimized for higher operating speeds, help ensure stable recording at 16x speed for DVD-R and DVD+R.
According to NEC, this new chipset is expected to be used by Pioneer and NEC for their new dual format DVD writers. More information can be found here.

16x DVD prže su uzašle prvi je bio Phillips i njegov partner( neznam koji), a ja bih uzeo Pioneer-a da imam love.

Partner je BENQ. I 16 x je samo na + medije.
Sljedece generacija ce bit i + i - 16x, i naravno kao sto je vec i nec2510 i benx DOUBLE LAYER po defaultu.

Benq nije partner Philipsu. To je samo kratki joint venture.

Philips mu je samo licencirao drive i koristi se sa istim, paralelno
za druga trzista na kojima je bolje "umrezen"

Sav razvoj je Philipsov (transporti CD1,3,4, CDM, 11,12,14...)
od cijih patenata ce zivjeti do kraja 2010.

Philips se malo uplasio zbog Grundiga koji je propao kao jedan
od naj'jaceg partnera u Thomson grupe (+propali clanovi sada u akviziciji istog: Telfunken,Saba,Nordmende) pa je odlucio malo
ucvrstiti svoju poziciju.
