tamo 10,11mj. pošto su rekli zajedno sa Win 7,a možda i prije jer "AMD promised that they would have DX11 cards out on the market by the Windows 7 launch" znači do izlaska bi već trebalo bit tržište puno :)

Kaj bi drugo s tim grafama?
Pa vantage je osim još 2-3 igre jedino i mogao pošteno iskoristiti dx10. :D:chears:

Sada će skoro sve igrice dolaziti u dx10, dx10.1 verzijama i onda kada dođe windows 7 i dx11 grafičke ( za par mjeseci) onda prelazimo na dx11 igrice, a realno gledajući koliko uopće ima dx10(.1) igrica vrijednih spomena.

Crysis se u to neubraja, jer i na dx9 se može pokrenut vhigh.

Ja bi samo spomenuo assassins creed,HAWX, farcry 2 i možda još jednu, makar i kod njih nema neke razlike između dx9 i dx10(.1)...

Nadam se da će DX11 donesti vidljive razlike.

Razlike tipa da kad ustrijeliš nekog aliena kiselina ti doslovce špricne po rukama i tastaturi, te ih sprži!:suicide:

Mogli bi se proizvođači softwarea i hardwarea malo više družiti... team building i to....

There is a DX11 gaming system lurking deep in Computex but we managed to hunt it down as usual. We can't provide you a close up right now but judging from the looks of it, the card is about 8.5" long, dual slot and requires a 6-pin power. This card probably belongs to the mainstream segment (RV840), part of the AMD's DX11 Evergreen family. The silicon is at A10 revision right now and we can expect another spin before it enters mass production. Targeted launch of the first DX11 part is in September before the Windows 7 hits the market on October 22nd. Some benchmarks later...

ide serija 5 XD nadam se da se malo imena izmjneit jer su vec dosadni s tim x850 x870 x890 za par godina ce bit 10870x2 haha :D

A šta ti tu smeta?

Uvijek kada trebaju izbacit 10000 seriju oni krenu s brojevima ispočetka.

nvidia -> 8800, 9800 -> 200 -> 300 ...
ati -> 9800 -> x800 -> x1800 -> hd2-> hd3 ->hd4 ...

i vjerovatno će opet ispočetka krenut.

Shvaćam da bi bilo previše brojeva onda:D, ati je to malo bolje riješio, stavio je rimsko 10 tj. X ispred pa dobijemo u biti 10800... Ali onda x1800 nema logike tj. bila bi 101 800???
Ma glavno da oni štancaju isplative grafičke.

Now we know that RV770 design concepts are the guidelines for the design of ATI's upcoming chip that well all keep calling RV870. This Evergreen generation chip has the same design concepts but you can expect faster speeds and more shader units.

The shader units are changed in order to accommodate DirectX 11 needs as this is the big focus of the chip. The chip is still scheduled for late Q3 2009 introduction, most likely Septemberish time and it will undoubtedly be the first Direct X 11 chip on the market.

Nvidia’s GT300, a next generation chip that also carries another codename but all keeps calling it GT300, is as far as we know the new architecture, something better than GT200 and you should expect some radical design changes."

We can confirm that today at an AMD place in Sunnyvale we had a chance to see DirectX 11 card, up and running. We had one in our hands on one of the cards and we’ve seen one running a few DirectX 11 technology demos. So DirectX 11 hardware from ATI is real and not a Power Point presentation.

The card is a prototype and it will probably launch later this year. So far, everyone keeps calling the card Evergreen. However, we insist in calling the card RV870 and we can tell you that this should be a performance card, not a cheap one.

From what we’ve seen, it can do tessellation and few other tricks from the DirectX 11 SDK kit. The general idea is that ATI is definitely ahead of introducing DirectX 11 hardware and this one is ought to be a 40nm chip. We don’t know about the general performance, it’s still too early for 3Dmark scores.

ATI's DX11 class Evergreen family will contain five products. Since the flagship X2 version is made up of two GPUs, there are four code-names assigned for the initial product lineup.

ATI Cypress DirectX 11 GPUs will be launched as the Radeon HD 5800 series...

It seems Cypress XT is the Radeon HD 5870 model, while Cypress Pro will be the Radeon HD 5850. The launch is said to take place in September, with broad availability slated for October around the same time as the Windows 7 launch, which is October 22nd.

According to a fresh report by Donanim Haber, AMD's next performance graphics accelerator, the Radeonhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adT...lass_10x10.gif HD 5870, codenamed "Cypress" is expected to be aggressively priced, at US $299. At that price, it intends to be highly competitive against GeForce GTX 285 from NVIDIAhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adT...lass_10x10.gif. The secret-sauce behind the price could be the 40 nm fab process on which the GPU is being built, which allows upping transistor counts while maintaining significantly smaller die-sizes compared to 55 nm.

There is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the specifications of the GPU, including what level of performance with existing application could it end up offering. Some sources, such as ChipHell, which are one of the first to leak pictures of components related to various Evergreen family products claim the Cypress GPU to have an almost 100% increase in stream processor counts compared to RV770, while others remain conservative expecting it to be around 50%. With this kind of a pricing, Cypress could trigger market-wide changes in GPU pricing, if it ends up with a good price/performance ratio at $299.

Cypress is expected to be launched on 22 September, close to two weeks after the company unveils the Evergreen family of DirectX 11 compliant GPUs on September 10. Market availability is expected in October. In related news from the same report, the enthusiast-grade accelerator that uses two of these GPUs, codenamed "Hemlock", is expected to be out in November.

Ma to je sve velika halabuka a nakon svega bude velika banana....
Misli se natjecati s GTX 285... wow..... Za to im je trebalo skoro godina dana da nekaj naprave, i to je pitanje kakav bude to na kraju "proizvod"....

Ili opet puno vode, malo casa..... ( puno se toga veli, malo toga ostane istinito )

btw. Nemoj misliti da ni na koji nacin diskreditiram ovu temu...

No previse sam se ATI-evih "cuda" nagledao..... ;)

Cijenom se misle pozicionirati u rang GTX 285 modela, a performansama su već (potvrđeno) bolji. Tak da si stvarno fino namljel.:)

Imaš toga po netu kolko te volja, ovaj put ja ne budem taj koji daje sve na srebrnom pladnju.
Em kartice stižu 22.09.'09., em su već poznate sve specifikacije, em čak (između ostalog) imaš i 3DMark rezultate.
Kartice su tak i tak već predstavljene na QuakeConu, a stvarno ne znam na koju foru bi ovo trebalo biti slabije do GTX 285.

Ovo prvi puta citam, kad dodjem doma moram prosurfat da vidim kaj to je.
Sve u svemu, raduje me izlazak nove serije zato sto bi po nekakvoj logiki trebao oznaciti pad HD48xx serije.
Veselim se cf-u sa u mojoj konfi :D

Našao neku sliku vidim da su fala Bogu malo cooler mjenjali :chears:

al bome i ima preko 30 cm duljine, pa to moram kucu kupiti za nju :D , a ne kuciste--

Editiral sam post i ako se od QuakeCona po netu vuku te specifikacije, onda nije problem naći ni ostatak konkretnog materijala.
ATi je zayebal s R600 i HD 2900 serijom, nakon toga ni jedno lansiranje i predstavljanje im nije bilo "papirnato".
Teško da bude ovo, pogotovo kad već imaju spremne kartice.:)

Mislim da ce biti 1600 shadera, slična igra je igrana sa ovom generacijom kada su najavili 640 shadera, pa se na dan izlaska promjenila informacija sa specifikacijama na 800. :)

Navodno da ce sabirnica biti 512 bitna...nije loše. :)

bit ce boom perf-cijena kao i 48**, samo se ja opet pitam, dal i gdje ce mo mi moci iskoristiti svu tu snagu i moc il ce se vrtit folding home :kafa:

Ma glavna da dodje, pa da jos srusi cijene danasnjih perjanica i svi sretni i zadovoljni. (i nevidija i aemde kupci).

A gdje ce se koristiti ta snaga. Meni pada na pamet Rage, a ako ID napravi isti ili bolji posao kao sa Doomom 3, onda ce to biti i Doom 4.

Ali to su sve stvari koje se ticu sljedece godine. Tako da, sto prije dodju, to ce prije pasti cijene :P

Jedino ono sto me zanima je neki naslov koji ce koristiti DX11. Bas da vidim to čudo, jer ce ID Tech 5 engine koji sam spomenuo ranije je OpenGL i DirectX 9-based.
