Set contrast and brightness to zero and then press the Sourcebutton for 5 seconds. Look at the Panel info line. There should be an incomprehensible phrase such as M-ME22W0BAA-1002. It’s the letters in bold face, especially those in the middle, which are determinant (based on current understanding) :

Inace,kupit cu vjerovatno taj monitor u Linksu pa me zanima dali mogu nekako drugačije pogledat koji je panel na njemu osim da mi ga ovako trgovac pali.

Nazalost ne. Ja sam isao na lutriju i dobio A panel.

EDIT: Mozda da pogledas na kutiji Made in Romania. Hehe

Ha ništa zahtjevati ti ću da ga otvore i provjere jel samsung panel unutra.

Može li netko odgovoriti na ovo?

The purpose of the screen isn't to show you the effects (I know its specific to this monitor. I'm trying to nail whether its an issue that is across all monitors of this model or if its just a defect in my monitor), but rather to direct other people with this monitor to the area of interest.

It appears to be a problem with dark colors surrounding bright colors. When I play around in MS Paint, I took a blank white area and filled it in black and started moving my mouse over it. Over certain areas, the color of my mouse would change from white to a very light sky blue sort of color. The same result can be achieved with various other dark backgrounds. Anyone else have this problem? The area in which this color change occurs is VERY consistent. It's like a vertical band 2 or 3 inches wide slightly off center of my screen.

On a side note, it appears that this monitor does NOT have 1:1 pixel mapping. Unless I'm missing something... but when I play games at 800x600, it maintains aspect ratio but does not maintain 1:1 pixel mapping. Same goes for all other resolutions which do not match the 16:10 aspect ratio.

The ultimate argument by Samsung (and they are right!)

The last subject brought up in our (long) discussion was : Samsung is wondering if we aren’t a little too curious and are overly exaggerating a problem that has been pointed out by none other than us. They clearly indicated that besides our articles and others that base their information on us without themselves testing the screens with the panels in question, no one has complained about their monitors. According to them, consumers have started returning screens to their warranty services under the sole pretext that we have said CMO panels were inferior to Samsung panel versions. This has been done without any verification by the client. Of course, we are in agreement. Also, what can we say when they tell us that in the case of the 2232BW, there was not a single telephone call from a client or store to their warranty services or offices to complain about the problems we revealed on this model? Here again, they are correct. Perhaps we should seriously ask ourselves: are we not just going a little too far and maybe our expectations do not correspond to the more normal standards of our readers?

Neznam mene bas SM2232BW i nije odusevio, mislio sam ga zamjeniti sa Dell-om SP2208WFP i onda naidem na ovo i ovo tako da cu se morati jos neko vrijeme zadovoljiti sa ovim samasungom :D

Ma budem došao u dućan sa USB keyem sa monitor testom.
Ak ne daju, idemo dalje. Našao sam odličnog phillipsa, samo što dođe 2200 kn i ima zvučnike.

Evo kako je preporuka ne otvarat nove teme, jel za 2D CAD, net, office i pregledavanje slika, uz manju obradu... bolje kupit ovog samsunga ili PHILIPS 220WS8FB? Sta je bolja kupnja? Thx

Odluka izgleda ipak pada na Philips 220CW8FB :)
Usporedio sa svim monitorima koji su dobili čak i po 5 zvjezdica... Kapa dolje.

A i ljudi se žale da radi lošijeg overdrivea ima kontra-efekt, tj negativ ghosting jako izražen.

Kao prvo mala isprika što ću vjerovatno postaviti već postavljeno pitanje ali moram biti siguran.
Sve sam pročitao vezano za panele još samo jedna nedoumica...danas sam bio u technomaxu i prodavač mi je testirao panel te je imao oznaku A.
E sada da li je to samsungov panel ili treba pisati S?
Ako su oba samsungova da li ima razlike među njima?
Kupujem monitor za par dana pa mi je to jako bitno.

Jel toliko teško pretražit malo temu o tom samsungu ili pogledat u ovoj 35. post?

Još jedan picajzla. Ak ti je JAKO bitno da uzmeš kvalitetniji panel, ne gledaj onda uopće Samsung 2232Bw . U suprotnom će te bilo koji zadovoljiti.
