99% da će bit tako,pa samo prebacivanjem gtx 580(povećanjem takta) u 28nm već se sustiže amd 7970

Nvidia prvo treba izdati grafulje, a onda je pitanje boga kakav će biti yield te koliko će uopće ići taktovi generalno gore! Sve ćemo vidjeti, samo treba čekati!

NVIDIA's next high-performance GPU that will attempt to restore NVIDIA's performance leadership in the consumer graphics segment, under the GeForce Kepler family, is slated for a March-April launch, according to a VR-Zone report. At CES 2012, NVIDIA focused on its Tegra product line, and demonstrated its applications in smartphones, tablets, and even automotives, but chose to avoid talking about its GeForce family.

According to the report, NVIDIA wants to avoid doing a paper-launch like AMD, which launched its Radeon HD 7970 on December 22, 2011, but its market availability was non-existent till after two weeks, on January 9, 2012. NVIDIA wants to ensure the GeForce product based on its new high-performance GPU will be available in the market on launch-day, which is pinned somewhere within late March and early April. On April 8, Intel will launch its third-generation Core processor family.

We are still missing a lot of details, but according to the current schedule it looks like GK110, Nvidia’s Kepler high end card, which should up with the Geforce GT 680 brand comes in April.

A chip called GK107, a much slower version of the same 28nm core, will show up in May, while the sexy performance market sweet spot part codenamed GK106 is planned for June. We still have no info when the most affordable part of this gang, codenamed GK108, comes to market.

negdje procitao da je fejk... Ako fudzilla tek sad kaze da kartice dolaze u 4 mjesecu, onda necemo kartice vidjeti prije 6 mjeseca.

Siguran sam da "moja Nvidia" neće podbacit, imam velika očekivanja od nje, i nadam se da neće razočarat kao Faildozer. Iskreno, ja nemam ni para za nešto jače od srednje kategorije, tako da me ni ne zanima ova high end distribucija koja ima paprene cijene. GK104 ili GK106 je moj cilj, samo prvo moram vidit kakve su performanse i cijena od navedenih.

New reports suggest that this GPU, which will succeed GF114 (on which the likes of GeForce GTX 560 Ti are based), will continue to have a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface. An equally recent report suggests that NVIDIA could give the front-line product based on GK104 as much as 2 GB of memory. We are also getting to hear from the INPAI report that on this product based on the GK104, the GPU will have a TDP of 225W. What's more, NVIDIA is gunning for the performance crown from AMD Radeon HD 7900 series with this chip, so it suggests that NVIDIA is designing the GK104 to have a massive performance improvement over the GF114 that it's succeeding.

Svaka cast ako uspiju sa mid/high end grafom skinut najjacu Radeonku. Mozda bi bilo dobro da bude tako zbog cijena a mozda i ne.

Ni ne ocekujem nista manje. Najjaci model bi po meni trebao bit u rangu gtx 580 SLI per. Sve ispod je premalo. U glavnom nebi sad kupovao nista skuplje od 560ti ili sl jer bi moglo bit svega ako Nvidia odradi dobar posao. 7970 si sad moze priustit takvu cijenu ali ne znam bas koliko dugo. Ne vjerujem da ce mid range grafe kostat 4000kn..

Ako tocno da ce k104 kostat 300$ i performansama konkurirat 79x0, mozemo se nadat pravom ratu cijenama. Kupovina 79x0 po ovim cijenama mi sve vise izgleda kao mega pusiona.

Apsolutno se slažem, +15% u odnosu na najjaču karticu iz prethodne generacije je jednostavno premalo da bi opravdalo takvo divljanje cijena. A ne sjecam se kad je Nevidija zadnji put izbacila karticu, a da u igri nije bilo bar 30%-tno povećanje performansi u odnosu na prethodnika.

Vidjet cemo kako ce AMD reagirat. AKo potvrde ove glasine 79x0 bi mogla vec i ranije pojeftinit. Sve je to dosta blizu mjesec, dva ako se nesto ne oduzi..
GF 104 nije ni pravi high end tako da bi kod enthusiast grafi moglo bi stvarno velikih povecanja perf. u odnosu na gtx 580. Mislim da bi takva nova grafa bez problema mogla bit kao trenutno gtx 580 SLI..

Ma 680 ce biti u rangu 7970 ,mozda 10-15 % brza jer sad vjerovatno nabrijavaju radni takt GPU-a i memorije da bi prestigli AMD. Jer realno gledajuci,ako bude 10 % brza od 7970 ,onda ce biti 40-50% brza od GTX580 sto cete priznati cijenjene kolege ipak jeben burst u performansama. Ali ce i zato i cijena biti gadno nabrijana.Ako jos uzmemo u obzir da nema drajvera optimiziranih za 7xxx seriju (grrrr) moze se ocekivati povecanje performansi za jos 20-25% u zavisnosti od aplikacije.

The rumour claims GTX 680 will offer similar performance to AMD's Radeon HD 7970. Clock speed is 780 MHz - no higher than GTX 580 - while it sports 2GB memory. While this suggests a 512-bit or 256-bit memory bus, NVIDIA has in the past mated 1GB to 192-bit with GTX 550 Ti, so it is possible GTX 680 has a 384-bit memory interface. Little else is revealed about the mysterious GTX 680.

The source of the rumour is notable forum member Napoleon from Chiphell, who has a history of leaking GPU related information. That said, this is nothing but a rumour - amidst other conflicting rumours - and must be considered as such.

Ma da.Nasljednik 560 ce biti brzi od AMD high enda. Pa u tu pricu ne bi povjerovali ni vrapci. Druga stvar.Od kad znam za sebe i te price o grafickim,uvijek,ali bas uvijek je slijedeca generacija bila brza za 30-40%.Nikad,ali bas nikad razlika nije bila 100%.Znaci,ako si imao 50 FPS-a u nekoj igri,da slijedeca generacija ima 100 fps-a.Tako da te price mogu okaciti macku o rep.
