Jedini usability problem na kojeg sam ja naišao sa libre office calc je s velikim fajlovima, parsto hiljada redaka dumpano iz neke baza npr. Calc je to žvakao i žvakao, ali nije mogao sažvakati. Nije se praktično moglo raditi s time. Dok excel takvo nešto otvara bez problema.

Ali to nije niti približno use case kakav 90%+ korisnika ima na dnevnom meniju. Par aplikacija instaliraš iz repozitorija, staviš automatski update i vozi. Možda malo zaglavi svakih 2-4 godine kada treba napraviti upgrade na idući major release.

Ali nije to tema, nego privatnost. A privatnost je danas (kao i mnoge druge stvari) predicirana na ekstremnoj komociji.

Sa druge strane imas office koji po defaultu sprema na one drive podatke i kako je rekao kolega, filovi znaju nestati.
Indijci su unistili Microsoft, pod tim mislim za korisnike, svi jos po inerciji koriste njihove proizvode, koliko dugo vidjeti cemo. Najvise volim recall opciju na windows 11, nekad su se ljudi zalili na telemetriju, a danas gledaju recall sa odusevljenjem.

Inace, bez obzira sto Microsoft drzi podatke eu korisnika u europi, u slucaju naloga suda ili neke troslovne agencije, svi podaci idu u ameriku na analizu, nekad su morali hakirati kompjutere, a sad su im sve poslovne tajne servirane na pladnju.

Ma u redu, ja samo kažem da je to formalnost. MS rudari te podatke na veliko, da li i rezultati obrade isto ostaju na određenom kontinentu? Globalni cloud a oni pričaju o kontinentima, po meni je to priča za bedake.

A team of suspected Chinese hackers has infiltrated US software developers and law firms in a sophisticated campaign to collect intelligence that could help Beijing in its ongoing trade fight with Washington, cybersecurity firm Mandiant said Wednesday. The hackers have been rampant in recent weeks, hitting the cloud-computing firms that numerous American companies rely on to store key data, Mandiant, which is owned by Google, said. In a sign of how important China's hacking army is in the race for tech supremacy, the hackers have also stolen US tech firms' proprietary software and used it to find new vulnerabilities to burrow deeper into networks, according to Mandiant.

The disclosure comes after the Trump administration escalated America's trade war with China this spring by slapping unprecedented tariffs on Chinese exports to the United States. @modovi > ako je naslov teme zbunjujuć molim preimenovati u nešto smisleno. Tema je zamišljenja kao skup aktualnih vijesti oko sigurnosnih propusta i provala u vidu edukacije korisnika foruma sa vektorima napada i aktualnim opasnostima te zaštite vlastitih podataka online i offline.

U biti može proći pod sigurnost podataka kod korisnika, tako da ne treba mijenjati ime teme, dobro je kad malo bolje promislim, isprika.
Doduše ovaj copy/paste na stranom jeziku je iritantan. Napisati na hrvatskom pa staviti izvor je možda bolja opcija.

Nego kad smo kod privatnosti, to možda isto ovdje spada.

Premijer UK, Keir Starmer, koji je na zadnjim izborima osvojio 34% glasova od onih koji su izašli na izbore najavljuje obvezan digitalni ID za svakog tko želi imati posao. Potencijalno opasno. Zamislite da vam stave digitalni id na "disable" ako npr. ne primite nekakav obvezujući "pripravak" u svoj krvotok ili nešto slično. Kako do posla ili do osnovnih usluga od države onda?

Doduše imamo ga i mi kroz npr. e-građani? Doduše nije obvezatno nego samo opcionalno za sada? Ili ga svi imaju po defaultu samo mnogi ne koriste?
Čitam i da UK ima 33 uhićenja dnevno zbog postanja "ilegalnog sadržaja" na internetu ili putem poruka, s time da ta brojka raste iz godinu u godinu što je zabrinjavajuće. S druge strane vjerujem da su mnoga uhićenja opravdana jer ljudi se nespretno izražavaju, pa umjesto da osude nešto specijalno oni osude cijeli narod/ovo/ono čime se potiče mržnja u javnom prostoru. To treba osuditi, samo je pitanje mjere, sivo područje pomalo.
Preko 800.000 Britanaca potpisalo je peticiju u nekoliko sati, odbacujući ovo distopijsko otimanje moći.

Vidjeh i iskreno mislim da je dosta problematično jer mi previše smrdi na onu foru sa Kineskim socijalnim kreditom - ako si za partiju si u pozitivi, ako si protiv onda si naj*.
Ne da smrdi nego je, digitalni id + cbdc = brojanje CO2 kredita plus iskljucenje iz drustva za one koji talasaju.
Sad je vec preko 1.2m ljudi potpisalo, ali to nista ne znaci, oni idu dalje.

Good honest hard-working people -- white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on -- good honest hard-working people continue -- these are people of modest means -- continue to elect these rich c*cksuckers who don’t give a f*ck about them. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don’t give a f*ck about you. They don't care about you at all -- at all -- at all. And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on; the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.
