Catalyst 3.9 R3XX AIW OpenGL fix
Sa novim driverima i novi problemi  Najveća se buka digla oko OpenGL-a na AIW grafama, privremeno rješenje je bilo instaliranje GL filea iz 3.8 drivera. Budući da se digla velika frka(ipak su nesretni vlasnici AIW dali hrpu perja za svoje grafe)  ,ATI-jevci su se brže-bolje potrudili i izbacili "fix"...Dakle-sva je mudrost u ovome: 1) Navigate to where the ATI drivers got unpacked (Typically it is C:\ATI\SUPPORT\WXP-W2K-CATALYST-7.95…. etc) 2) Go to Driver/2KXP_INF folder 3) Open the CX_11774.inf file 4) In the ATI.Mfg section, edit the ALL-IN-WONDER entries to say RADEON ALL-IN-WONDER 5) Save file 6) Reinstall driver from c:\ATI\wxp-w2k-catalyst-795….. \setup.exe To je savjet mulca koji je dotične drivere i sfušao "Službeni" fix bude izašao uskoro... Meni se nekak vidi da su od 3.8 driveri malo pali kaj se tiče kompatibilnosti...pogotovo za starije grafe... |

Slazem se s tobom... pogotovo za AIW kartice... prvo su zeznuli ono s DX9b, pa onda problem s temperaturom i crkavanjem monitora, sad i ova totalna glupost. Mislim da im je malo quality assurance i beta testing vriti... Citiraj:

HELP WANTED! Just spoke to Terry Makedon, and he asked me to help him find some people interested in working in ATI's QA department in the Toronto area. Since Rage3D and DH are the best places to find ATI fans, there must be some of you with QA/Testing experience. This can be a dream job! Testing the latest hardware and the latest games, and getting paid for it! If you think you have what it takes to join ATI send your resume to tmakedon@ati.com and he will have a look at it and if it looks good will send it off to the QA department for their consideration. Requirements for this job are 1) Knowledge of 3D (hardware, software, terminology, etc) and 2) Testing experience. |

Evo i službenog fixa This should bring some joy to All In Wonder users, straight from ATI's infobase: The information in this article is known to affect the following configurations: * ALL-IN-WONDER cards * CATALYST 3.9 * Windows 2000 / XP * Windows 98 / ME OpenGL games and applications fail to launch, and/or an error message appears indicating that "OpenGL could not initialize". Other error messages may appear. The following are examples of OpenGL games and applications: * Return to Castle Wolfenstein * Quake III Arena * Call Of Duty * Maya 3D To resolve this issue, download and install this driver hotfix. NOTE: After installing this HotFix, the product name in Device Manager will appear as "RADEON xxxx Series" instead of "ALL IN WONDER xxxx". This should not impact performance or features in any way. A future CATALYST release is expected to address this issue.
