Da, Zen 3 Threadripper 5000 serija bi trebala stići u ljetnim mjesecima (kolovoz). Kaj se potencijalne Zen 3
+ arhitekture tiče, izgleda da nešto svakak pripremaju, jer TSMC 6nm (
1 -
2) proizvodni proces je samo poboljšani 7nm kojeg su pak u posljednje dvije godine doveli do savršenstva s 99%
+ yielda. Obzirom da idu na TSMC 6nm za potrebe PS5 refresh modela, onda vrlo lako mogu isti proces iskoristiti za manje (desktop ili mobilne) APU modele, poput tih potencijalnih Rembrandt koji se spominju. Budemo vidjeli kaj bude na kraju ispalo, ako uopće bude išta od toga, ali IMHO, ako kreću s TSMC 6nm za jednu seriju proizvoda, onda vrlo lako mogu i ostatak prebaciti, jasno, pod pretpostavkom da žele i ako uopće bude potrebe, obzirom na situaciju s (Alder Lake) konkurencijom.

TSMC this week unveiled its new 6 nm (CLN6FF, N6) manufacturing technology, which is set to deliver a considerably higher transistor density when compared to the company's 7 nm (CLN7FF, N7) fabrication process. An evolution of TSMC's 7nm node, N6 will continue to use the same design rules, making it easier for companies to get started on the new process. The technology will be used for risk production of chips starting Q1 2020. TSMC says that it expects N6 to be used for a variety of applications, including mobile SoCs, GPUs, high-performance computing chips, networking, 5G infrastructure, and other products. TSMC’s revealed that the company expects most of its 7nm "N7" process customers to eventually transition to its forthcoming 6nm "N6" manufacturing node.
