"Those who say qualifying will be more exciting clearly haven't driven these cars. On many tracks, you won't be able to go full throttle even in qualifying; you'll have to ease off the throttle to conserve battery. It's no longer about pure speed, it's all about how you manage the battery. Charging the battery at the start of qualifying, warming up the tires... these things were already there, but now you have to manage the system even on a single lap. So I absolutely disagree with the idea that qualifying will be more exciting."
