Oslo's public transport company ran some tests on their electric buses. Turns out the Chinese manufacturer can remotely access and control their buses from China. The European one had no such access. The manufacturer has access to software updates, diagnostics and battery systems, meaning they could shut down the buses if they wanted to.
The public transport operator in Norway's capital said Tuesday that some electric buses from China have a serious flaw -- software that could allow the manufacturer, or nefarious actors, to take control of the vehicle.
