Citiraj:
The funding for Secure Enclave also comes from the Chips Act grant program administered by the Commerce Department — following a dispute earlier this year over which agency would be responsible — but was handled outside of the standard application process. The agreement on Secure Enclave signals that the US government trusts Intel to execute on the Pentagon’s plans despite the company’s latest troubles. It’s unclear exactly what models of chips Intel would produce for the Pentagon. The Santa Clara, California-based company, which operates both a design business and a manufacturing one, still relies on TSMC to produce some of its most advanced processors.

podjednako popularnog albuma.
Citiraj:
Intel's CEO Pat Gelsinger has held a meeting with Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, expressing the firm's frustration over how the US government isn't collaborating in desperate times. Gelsinger also showed concerns over how major tech companies are looking to do business with TSMC rather than IFS, indirectly urging that this should be stopped and that companies like Apple and nVidia should be directed towards cooperating with Intel rather than the Taiwan giant.
