Ne vidim što fali systemd-u  . Prvi native linux system/service manager s hrpom uniq fičera.
Desktop je isto ok. Najbliže onom što se htjelo postići je valjda došao Ubuntu i iz tog razloga ga _ne_ koristim .
Gaming se danas bez problema može riješiti preko IO virtualizacije i dedicirane grafičke. Host OS grafika je uglavom na procesoru. Tko ima problema s Linux grafičkim driverima nek se migrira na AMD ili Intel. |

Why is Linux switching over to systemd when it's so bad?
Because in Linux world (largely due to RedHat’s influence), the Desktop tail wags the whole Server/Embedded animal….
The things that systemd supposedly solves only exist in one use-case: A desktop system with attached mouse/keyboard/monitor, running a GUI & having to deal with USB plug-ins, WiFi connections and so on.
They aren’t problems for headless VMs/servers/cloud-instances or embedded devices - which are the overwhelming majority of Linux installs… No one cares how fast a server gets to a login prompt (the server is up when all of it’s services/daemons are up), server admins don’t need the configuration reduced to Windows .ini-file format, binary log-files are a hindrance for external management tools, user-interface-device handling is irrelevant (sshd is the user-interface) and so on…
But there is just something out there amongst the community that is chasing after Windows like a dog chasing cars, trying to create a new desktop OS that nobody actually needs… And they apparently have the pull to turn the whole world upside down…
P.S. It should be noted that the 2 actually-successful end-user OSes based on the Linux kernel - Android and ChromeOS - do not, last I checked, use systemd.

Meni samo digne svaki put tlak kad vidim neki lose pisan systemd servis koji ne sljaka kak spada pa se recimo server ne ugasi kad treba. Malo je previse tog govna u zadnje vrijeme.
