AMD Ryzen 9 5900X + ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming
Huh, što reći, koju poruku poslati bez korištenja onomatopeje, posebice kad pišem pod utjecajem lakih nota teških metala, lišen i ovo malo zdravog razuma. Tekst u nastavaku će vrlo vjerojatno naići na kojekakve i ponajprije negativne reakcije najvećom mjerom onog dijela disonantne publike koja u slučajevima kad nema gužvu na poslu vjerno lovi svaku moju riječ ne bi li se što lakše našli prozvani i uvrijeđeni, potpomognuti "argumentima", uvijek spremni i angažirani, upozoriti kako je i ova, treća po redu iteracija, zapravo samo još jedna u nizu kontrukcija na rubu terorija zavjera, jer AMD je bio i ostao irelevantna šrot firma koja nudi budžet rješenja za one koji ne mogu koristiti pravu stvar na pravom mjestu u pravo vrijeme.
Istraživanja pokazuju, a "novinari" dokazuju kako je danas, single-core/thread high-frequency - baš kao i nekad - alfa i omega modernog x86 računalstva. Nikakvi zalijepljeni serveri i tamo neki anemični grafički akceleratori, u obzir dolaze isključivo sirovi jednojezgreni radni takt uz domaću proizvodnju i iskusnog kapetana koji, kao i njegovi prethodnici uspješno navigira relativno mirnim vodama uz pokoji val, koji ako se i usudi prići kaiću, promptno s lakoćom razbija i nestaje u bespućima plavetnila kojeg u prvom redu ionako nije bio dostojan. Posljednjih pet godina se za sve uključne strane (AMD, Intel i nVidia) s relativnom lakoćom može staviti u PC perspektivu, da ne kažem vidokrug, a Ryan Shrout kao svojevrsni i suvremeni Theo Valich uvelike doprinosi real-world benchmarketingu, dok u "nisam školovala" maniri promovira transkodiranje PowerPoint materijala uz istovremeno eksportiranje Adobe PDF formata, koristeći pritom svu silu moćnih ARC rješenja.
Kao što je bio slučaj u prva dva nastavka trilogije i ovaj dio će poslužiti za osvrt prilikom prelaska na za mene novi, ali zapravo sada već skoro dvije godine dostupan i aktualan Zen 3 Ryzen 9 5900X CPU. Prijašnji Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G je u proteklih godinu dana korištenja i više, nego poslužil svrsi, tako da realno nekog pravog razloga za zamjenu i nije bilo, ali Ryzen 9 5900X će (barem u mojem slučaju) poslužiti kao točka na i, naravno pod pretpostavkom da AMD ne izda još koji noviji Zen 3 ili Zen 4 model za AM4 platformu, ali to već spada u kategoriju čestitki, želji i pozdrava lokalnih radio stanica . Izuzev samog procesora, ostale komponente su iste, tzv. plug'n'play, kakav se inače može vidjeti kod Intel + nVidia rješenja, dok se sada već vremešni Scythe Kotetsu hladnjak poprilično dobro nosi s povećanim brojem jezgri, pa je ~55°C neki maksimum koji Ryzen 9 5900X postiže, dok se u pozadini bori s kompresiranjem kakvih 350GB virtualnih čuda tehnike.
Obzirom da B450-F Gaming ploča za razliku od prijašnje B350-F Gaming ima dodatan NVMe M.2 slot, isti je u ovom zahvatu transplatacije procesora, popunjen 1TB Crucial P5 modelom, tako da se virtualne mašine više ne moraju gužvati zajedno sa Steam i Epic Games kolekcijama, jer lagano je sve skupa bilo nagurano na jednom 500GB Crucial P1 disku. Kaj se orginalne B350-Gaming ploče i Ryzen 5 1600 procora tiče, iako su sad već jedan dulji period kod novog vlasnika, sada pet godina stara ploča i službeno podržava cijelu paletu novih Zen 3 procesora, tako da i to nije ispalo loše, mada veli čovek da mu je i R5 1600 sasvim OK, ali u slučaju da mu ikad zatreba nešto bolje, ima mogućnost nadogradnje. Ryzen 9 5900X se u proteklih tjedan dana fino udomaćil u svemu kaj je bačeno pred njega, pa po tom pitanju nemam nikakvih zamjerki, osim možda da spomenem da je cijena od datuma orginalne kupnje do danas zapravo porasla za dobrih 300 + kn i sad se taj model kreće oko 3.500 kn, mada mu je cijena u prošlih nekoliko mjeseci redovito bila u silaznoj putanji.
IMHO najveća mana ove nadogradnje se krije u činjenici kako je 32GB sistemske memorije na knap za desetak virtualnih mašina i ostatak svakodnevnih pozadinskih sitnica.

Unreal Tournament je poslužil u svrhu testiranja core-to-core i chiplet-to-chiplet latencija, obzirom da ta problematika u nanosekundama kao posljedicu ima tzv. osjetan pad sličica u sekudni.
Svaka sličnost sa stvarnim događajima, osobama i situacijama je iako sarkastična, zapravo sasvim slučajna, osim u slučajevima kada se sve od navedenog nije moglo izbjeći za potrebe (lošeg) humora.
