10 years ago a car battery was around £40.00, then we got start/stop technology that shot that up to £200.00 and I fix these every day and owners are shocked and say they didnt realise, and thats the same situation with electric cars, they will not be aware until they, or someone they know suffers this £15,000 Merc battery, £36,000 for a Tesla battery or £65,000 for a Bentley battery.
