I još im k tome treba ovaj hibridni dizajn da mogu reći kako sad i oni nude isti/sličan broj jezgri i threadova kao i konkurencija, dok će jedan (monolitan) 12900K istovremeno trošiti u rangu 64C/128T EPYC i Threadripper modela.
Meteor Lake će biti prvi pravi chiplet/tiles dizajn, pa do onda stignu presložiti jezgre u malo većem broju, a da se cijela stvar baš ne rastopi zajedno s prostorijom u kojoj se nalazi.

Microsoft 'will be enabling VBS on most new PCs over this next year' and that can tank PC gaming performance by around 25%. The issue is Virtualization-Based Security (VBS), a setting introduced into Windows 10 which uses hardware and software virtualisation to enhance the security of your system. It basically creates an isolated subsystem that helps prevent malware from screwing your PC. The issue comes if you're receiving a machine which has had an OEM build of Windows 11 installed on it.
