To be fair, we have to preface this with the fact that this is a test sample only. However, now a few months have passed, driver after driver have been added and the overall situation has not improved. Only the rudimentary functions work, but the DisplayPorts and HDMI of the DG1 are still completely unusable. The performance is located at about the same level as an NVIDIA GT 1030, which could well be real, but unfortunately isn’t really verifiable. Intel had ever shown games in progress at the time, but one could almost doubt that given the current situation and the actual state. Why Intel distributes complete systems that you can never get running over the year, that can only be answered by Intel itself. The fact is that probably everyone involved in the test gave up at some point, exasperated. What is the DG 1 supposed to be good for and stand for in the end? For the office, a current iGP or a complete APU from AMD does it better and with much less effort.
