False alarm, folks. The code names are just something we will be using in the open source driver code, so we can publish code supporting new chips for upstream inclusion before launch without getting tangled up in marketing name secrecy.
Trying to avoid the confusion we have today where we publish new chip support as "VEGA10" and then the product gets marketed as "Vega 56" or "Vega 64". In future the new chip support might get published as something like "MOOSE" and then be marketed as something completely different.
The code names are per-chip not per-generation.
