I called HTC N.America customer service today, and they said:
"we are aware of the tint issue. It will be soon be fixed by a software update, but we are not sure when the update will be pushed."

Yup, i can confirm with my service center too here in India, the engineer (one of my friend) said this is a hardware issue and htc will seed an update which locks the ISO settings in low light to resolve the issue. Thats some dirty workaround man

Thanks for contacting HTC Technical Support Center.
I am so glad to know that you are a member of the HCT family.
Dear ***** , I am really sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused. First of all, I will like to recommend you to perform a soft reset. Please do the following: press and hold the Power key for a couple of seconds, you will see a small chart with three options; please select “Restart Phone”
Also, I will recommend you to clear data and cache on the camera app. From home screen>settings>apps>all> camera>clear data and clear cache.
However, keep in mind when you are taking pictures in low light condition, you might find the thermal/dark noise and bright pattern on your pictures. This symptom will be more obvious, when device temperature is high - 50°C - 60°C or above (122°F - 140°F).
If device temperature is high, please stop any operations for a moment to cool down their device and try to take pictures later again.
Please, let me know if it worked better I will be eating for your response.

It sounds more like a hardware than software issue to me :/ Btw when I see this "If device temperature is high, please stop any operations for a moment to cool down their device and try to take pictures later again. " I was like wtf? is that mean every time if I want to take low light photos , I need to bring a freezer or cooler with me to cool down the phone? wouldnt it be too ridiculous
