Remember the two cops they saw at that school where they took Randall ?? They had no bite marks....
Then Randall reanimates as a walker after suffering a broken neck.... again ... no walker bite.
Shane also reanimating ..... to me.... means that it's clear now that what Jenner whisperped to Rick at the end of Season 1 was "EVERYONE IS INFECTED"....
meaning that it doesn't matter how you die... you will come back as a walker.
