također recimo da je ICMP paket veličine 32B
pošto je RTT 32 ms, složit ćemo se da ICMP paket u jednom smjeru putuje 16ms
32B = 256bit
16ms = 0.016s
kad to podijelimo dobijemo da je paket putovao brzinom od 16kbit/s
