G71...pritajena Ultra?
 

G71 will end up with a new Geforce name, new number and probably GTX suffix but it's still too early to talk about the final name. It will have a very fast core, we still don’t know the number but it should be around 700MHz and it's obviously paired with super fast memory. The memory is not the problem and even Samsung memory running at 1700 MHz+ is not in tight supply.

The chip will have 32 pipelines and it's obviously faster than just arrived and not so available Geforce 7800 GTX 512 cards. It's expected in early February and Nvidia is already playing with these cards.

Nvidia is working hard on its 90 nanometre process and its investors are really concerned about it. We figure out that mobile part based around G72 chip is 90 nanometre or at least should be based on that, and Nvidia is in volume production with its C51 chipsets, also 90 nanometre based.

This card is meant to fight R580 ATI's new high end chip that is scheduled for a similar time

hm radit će na 700/1700 ko gtx 512 ali sa 32 pipe we wiil seeee.

Mislim da bu memorija na 2.0 GHz.

7800GTX 512 pa defaultu radi na 700 chip?

nVidia's latest graphic offering should start sampling as soon as next week. It's all in the promises now but we have a reason to believe that Nvidia is on the schedule with this one. We also heard that the chip should work around 700 MHz frequency and as we reported before it should feature 32 pixel pipelines.

Nvidia scheduled its launch and world wide availability in stores for February 2006 but if all goes well it might actually launch at the same time as ATI, in the last week of January.

čekamo 2 mjesec,kažu sljedeći tjedan prezentacija na CES-u,bit će ako inquirer dobro kaže 700 takt,a cijena aajojojojoj:eek: .

Jako mnogo sumnjam jer je i 1.7GHz nova stvar. A brzine memorije sporo rastu... Od predstavljana 6800 je prošlo godina i pol , pa je tada top mem bila 1.1GHz, a danas je 1.7.

Mislim da bude memorija na G71 delala na 1.8 -2.0 GHz. Pogle sam kolko su zdigli memoriju na GTX 512 u odnosu na GTX 256, a vremenski razmak između te dve kartice je bil nekolko mjeseci. Ali dobro, kak je Rainmaker-Lihto rekel, treba pričekati.....

Samo GTX 512 ima 1.1ns memoriju, a GTX 256 ima mislim 1.6, ne vjerujem da postoji puno bolja memorija od 1.1ns

Postoji....Samsung je još prije nekolko tjedni dobil narudžbu od nVidia-e za 1.0ns memoriju. Samsung ju je napravil isto kad i 1.1ns i samo je čekal da mu se javi kolko komada treba dostaviti. Maksimum za 1.1ns memoriju je 900MHz (efektivnih 1.800MHz), dok 1.0ns memorija dela na 1.000MHz (efektivnih 2.0GHz). Osim toga nVidia namjerava izdati još žešću izvedbu GTX 512 i mislim da bu na toj kartici 1.1ns na 1.800MHz....

Da citiram Clockana s bitnim dijelom podvučenim..
A da je 1,0ns baš puno bolje od 1,1ns, baš i ne znam;)

Dobro nije puno bolja, krivo sam se izrazil....moja greška.:) Al da je bolja........bolja je (bar kaj se tiče brzine).

super neka i meni dostave par komada sad ću im javiti:D .

G71 = GeForce 7900
 

nVidia's next generation, and first 90nm part, codenamed G71 is to be launched as GeForce 7900. Unlike the launch of its GeForce 7800 GTX, the current plan seems that NVIDIA will launch both the faster GTX and GT variants at the same time. The flagship single-card product GeForce 7900 GTX is claimed to be a 32 pixel processor part with a core GPU frequency of 700/750 MHz, and should ship with 1.1ns graphics RAM clocked at 800/900MHz. 700MHz NVIDIA GeForce 7900 is currently coming in at circa 13,000 3DM2K5's on an AMD Athlon 64 FX 60 system.
