Obviously because we’re not bound by any NDA or other agreement with ATI we’ve worked hard to get you some benchmark results prior to the launch which is scheduled for the end of this month. To ATI we’d like to comment that it is a two-way street really, we’d like to be briefed about your products and have early access to them, if that requirement is met we will have no issues with signing and adhering to NDAs. By cutting us off however we’ve just been given a new incentive to work harder to break the news when we get a chance, in our usual no holds barred fashion.

hej hej hej, ostavite te komentare "razocaran sam" i "crni ati" za onda kad procitate pravi review kad se kartica zapravo pojavi na trzistu...

Cito sam ja svakakih gluposti po netu, i recenzijica di ati gazi 7800gtx, i di gubi... sacekaj par tjedana, skok na beyond3d, i onda mos pljuvat ;)

Ja mislim da je sasvim solidno za 16 pix-a. Ipak GAZI GT-icu sa 20...

ti "testovi" uopće nisu pravi testovi...
ovi su te "brojke" dobili od nekog ATI partnera....barem tako kažu...znači ni luk jeli, ni luk mirisali...:rolleyes:

Sorry guys, can't help you with pics or driver revs and all that, the testing was done in the lab of one of ATI's board partners in Taiwan, and they're not about to disclose who they are, as ATI will certainly want a 'word' with them. Nevertheless my hat's off to them and a big thanks is in order, as they were willing to help me when we came to them for a scoop a few weeks ago, and a scoop it sure was.

Sander [tip sa HardwareAnalysisa] obviously did not produce the results himself, yet apparently the results come from a board partner in Taiwan. Although the "review" misses out a lot of info it positions the R520 products at the 7800 GT and GTX level. Both give and take a little. I really don't know if we can trust the results published by Sander as you need to test a product in-house and not rely on 3rd party based beta engineerging products.

ATI's (Chris Hook) first reaction to this article was: " Fiction. I don't believe these numbers were ever run on a 520 ".

A second response just came in:

"This is a complete hoax - done with an OC'd X850, we think. Call our partners yourself and ask if they have R520XTs in house. The numbers aren't even close."

Znaci kada dojdu grafe na testiranje i kad vidim "prave" rezultate onda cu vjevovat.

PO tim testovima ispada da je kartica losija od gtx-ice, ali i kad dodu pravi testovi to nebude puno bolje nego max 5%
Sad dali to opravdava 1000kn vecu cijenu:rolleyes:

ne volim vidjet nedoveršene reviewe i testove.

nek dovrše započeto pa nek onda daju rezultate i sve ostalo!:smoke:

Iako ne očejujem bog-zna-kaj.

Treba pričekat one luđake iz xbit labsa da provrte tridesetak testova igara a ne jedan mark i tri igre.:)

Di su dokazi? :D kad ja vidim sliku jezgre i verificirane scoreove iz benčeva tek tad cu vjerovat do tad je sve "bas sam sanjao da mi je postar doniio x1800xt"

Od jednog nvidiota nemožeš očekivat ništa drugo nego da popljuje sve kaj u sebi sadrži ATI;)

cijela konfa mi vrijedi kolko jedna takva grafa, o čemu smo i jutros pričali.

bio bi ja zadovoljan i sa bilo čim što počinje sa x8... ili 68.. 78.. :D

Currently im under NDA so I can not post benchmark results regarding ATI's forthcoming R520 board, but after reading an article today over at HardwareAnalysis I feel its worthwhile giving my views on this.

Hardwareanalysis have been snubbed by ATI and claim to have some results running with the R520 (X1800) which he states have been ran in conjunction with a board partner :

"Normally we would’ve adhered to ATI’s NDA and published results the moment it expired. However this time around ATI decided to just not bother with us as they made it very clear that we did not make the cut, as we have written some articles about CrossFire, R520 and ATI’s financial situation that were apparently not appreciated. Hence we’ve not been briefed by ATI, nor did we sign an NDA, or have been invited to the launch event, so basically they decided to cut us off."

With the help of a board partner we’ve been able to run the same set of benchmarks we’ve previously run on NVIDIA’s GeForce 7800GT and GTX"

Most of you will realise when a website is given hardware by a company like ATI or NVIDIA, testing is done internally by a site reviewer, a member of the reviewing team, I find this article a little disturbing, is this the way hardware sites are going to handle benchmarking in future when "snubbed" by a manufacturer? to have AIB's run tests for public viewing within environments outside our control? There are so many variables involved in this it would certainly not be something I would ever feel comfortable with on any level. It is a website's duty to print their findings to their readers.

I have had some experience with a R520 and I have to say I find the results somewhat suspect. I am not going to get into an "Nvidia V ATI" debacle, the current Nvidia 7800 hardware is first class and has received a heavenly hardware gold award on Driverheaven, the issue at hand are the methods it appears some sites are getting their "results" of unreleased hardware. The results at Hardwareanalysis are scores ive achieved with an overclocked X850XT PE and not a R520 graphics card. I can't help feel with the context of the editorial is it merely a "stab" at ATI for being kept out of the loop.

Speaking with ATI today one of my sources was keen to say "Everyone will see in October that the only board Sander tested was a Ouija board."

My suggestion for all our members reading this is to not get too caught up in "previews" clearly based on bitterness from websites out of the loop but to wait until respected sites like Hardocp, Hexus and ourselves bring figures by testing first hand not via other sources.

EDIT: I feel its also important to mention ATI have stated Sander sent the following email after he wasnt invited to editors day, it might be an insight into his state of mind.

"Clearly dominates"...hmm, zanimljivo, zanimljivo...morati ćemo pričekati prave rezultate da vidimo je li to običan PR ili stvarno stanje stvari....

Ma ludnica ce sad bit...eto izgleda da ce i novi ForceWare od nVidia-e drasticno povecat performanse GF7800 grafulja... tako da... you got to love the situation ;)

Pa kad bi je imao odma bi prodao ovu kantu i u ducan po novu:D
