Gigabyte Radeon HD7770 OC - test i CFX performanse
 

Testirali smo Gigabyteovu HD7770 karticu zasebno i u CFX konfiguraciji.

trebali su umjesto 0 ubacit jos jednu 7 kad je bal onda do kraja :D

Budući da se radi o karticama niže/srednje klase jeste li uočili micro-stuttering efekt u CFX-u?

Možda je to i subjektivan pojam ali prema nekim recenzijama (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...fire,2995.html) SLi i CFX su imali dosta problema osim ukoliko se radilo o multi GPU kombinacijama s karticama visoke klase.

Even at frame rates above 50 FPS, micro-stuttering rears its ugly head, pronounced enough to significantly detract from the gaming experience. A paradigm shift seems necessary, at least until both AMD and Nvidia are able to prevent or mask the artifact. Right now, if you asked us whether it'd be smart to "go cheap" on an inexpensive card and double-down later with another one, we'd have to suggest against it if you're the sort to be bothered by micro-stuttering. The improvement in performance would be negated by the phenomenon's impact. Currently, it seems like cards less powerful than the Radeon HD 6950 are not well-suited for dual-card CrossFire. Even if the frame rates look decent, the slower the GPU, the more pronounced you'll see micro-stuttering during gameplay.

SLI

Nvidia's approach is much more consistent, though its own SLI technology doesn't side-step micro-stuttering entirely. At least the company's high-end cards work together the way we'd expect. However, sporadic micro-stuttering brings us back to reality time and again. Cards like the GeForce GTX 550 Ti seem to be wasted on a SLI setup for this reason alone, achieving decent frame rates in the charts and nasty micro-stuttering in the real world.

Svidio mi se review, samo sam razocaran kako HD7770 slabo skalira kada je OCana, ili ju niste iscijedili do kraja? :) (nisam bas u detalje citao)

Ovo i mene zanima. :)

Zanimljivo, može biti da je to samo subjektivan dojam, jer ja misam imao sličnih problema s karticama i testovima koje sam vrtio. Jel to još netko primjetio osim Tom`s HW-a?

Nisu to vise bas tako slabe kartice da bi to bilo nesto izrazeno. Problem je uglavnom bio kod slabijih grafi.

7770 nije 7970 da ima preko 2000SP pa da skalira sa svakim mhz. Puno je toga manje i zbog toga ni dobici nisu neki.

Ima na još par mjesta, ako je ovima za vjerovat::D

"Naturally, we contacted the major graphics chip vendors to see what they had to say about the issue. Somewhat to our surprise, representatives from both AMD and Nvidia quickly and forthrightly acknowledged that multi-GPU micro-stuttering is a real problem, is what we measured in our frame-time analysis, and is difficult to address. Both companies said they've been studying this problem for some time, too."

Ako je vjerovat Tom`s HW-u, problem je bio izraženiji kod ATI kartica a tek uz CFX HD 6950 postao je slabije uočljiv.
