These include: Video combing effects no longer visible during movie playback while fast forwarding or rewinding Avivo Video Color Settings are now retained after resume from Sleep/Hibernate Overlay Theater Mode is now enabled with component video or composite video in extended modes Catalyst Control Center: Avivo Video Advanced Color page is no longer grayed out and preview is now functional OGL games now play properly with "Show Crossfire logo…" option enabled Rotation now works if Aero mode is turned off Resolved Issues for the Windows XP Operating System This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite for Windows XP. These include: Avivo Video Color Settings will now be applied in the video when played using PowerDVD FJ online game no longer changes resolution slowly in full screen mode with some ASICs Quake 4: Screen corruption no longer appears in CrossFire using two bridge cables with some ASICs Composite video no longer goes black when disabling Overlay Theater Mode using Catalyst Control Center Resolved issues for Open GL 3.0 "CreateContext" function Toggling between 3D games in full screen mode to the desktop is no longer slow when using the Alt-Tab key Resolved Issues for the Windows 7 Operating System This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite for Windows 7. These include: Known Issues Under the Windows Vista Operating System This section provides information on known issues that may be experienced under the Windows Vista operating system with the latest version of Catalyst™. These include: AVIVO converter may fail to convert h.264 avi video to another format “Unsupported file formats” error message dialog may occur when selecting H.264, mp4 and VC1 file formats “CCC Host application...” error message dialog may occur when cancelling a transcoding process Output media file size differs after transcoding multiple times to the same format The ATI AVIVO video transcoder does not currently use GPU acceleration under Windows Vista 64-bit edition "World of Warcraft" and "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King": Flickering may occur when Shadow is set to medium/high using CrossFire Google Sketchup may show blank screen Certain resolutions above 10 x 7 might not full screen for specific HDMI displays Both LCD and CRT may go blank when hotplugging the CRT to the system, and will not recover until it is switched to discrete GPU Known Issues Under the Windows XP Operating System The following section provides a summary of open issues that may be experienced under the Windows XP operating system in the latest version of Catalyst™. These include: In this Catalyst 9.3 release, the Compute Abstraction Layer (CAL) driver will not function properly under Windows XP OS Display Settings shows extra resolutions for Component Video Transcoding a VOB DVD file (18min source file) results in 2.27min output file Transcoding falls back to CPU after transcoding to DVD/MPEG2 multiple times in XP Media files transcoded using CPU instead of GPU in XP MCE OS Known Issues Under the Windows 7 Operating System The following section provides a summary of open issues that may be experienced under the Windows 7 operating system in the latest version of Catalyst™. These include: Desktop may jitter and flicker during HD playback under WinDVD9 on some ASICs Certain resolutions above 10 x 7 might not full screen for specific HDMI displays Express driver uninstall may result in a device manager error Avivo Video Converter option is not available for Windows 7 Moving a video clip across an extended desktop may cause the desktop to flicker or the media player to stop functioning Changes to display resolutions may fail to apply for composite video and S-Video Restricting the maximum refresh rate and resolution via Catalyst Control Center may fail to apply Catalyst Control Center page is missing under OS Display Properties Confirmation dialog box might not appear when applying HDTV 720p and 1080i formats; the resolution will be applied automatically Display configuration changes in extended desktop may take longer than normal to apply

Evo upravo instalirao sad idem probat par igrica.

Instalacija prošla bez grešaka.

Warhead radi bez problema

Igre (one koje ja igram) rade kak spada, a i napokon su složili HD akceleraciju koja u 9.1 i 9.2 verzijama nije funkcionirala na XPu.:)

Evo i ja sam stavio 9.3 i mogu reći da malo bolje idu neke igre kod mene(Tom Clancy:End War,Stalker clear sky,Fallout 3 itd....)Dodao sam dosta efekata i ide puno bolje.

Na windows 7 x64 9.3 rade bez greške, stavio sam hawx i radi sve ok, cca 2 sata čačkanja za sad...

Windows 7 x64, driver je super, napokon full OpenGL support, nema vise "flickering-a/stuttering-a" :chears:

sa 8.12 sam imao oko 1800-1850 ppd
sa 9.1 i 9.2 primjetio da je to palo na nekih 1300-1500 ppd
kad god bi pogledao u gpu-z load je bio na 90%
sad sa 9.3 load ide opet do kraja i sad je opet do 1850 ppd

iz kojeg razloga to nazivaju "performance enhancements" :)

Ja nemogu vjerovat da jos nisu sredili 2d/3d clock bug na drugom gpu na 4870x2.
Koji to idioti programiraju za ati?
Najednostavniji problem nemogu uklonit.

Sa 8.12 je radilo,pa sa ove dvije nije,pa sada opet radi.

A ja konj mislio da mi to uopce nece radit...

EDIT: evo probao konertat mpeg-1 u mpeg-2 i vidim cpu load 90%, ocito da neradi... Hebes to!

jel itko probao na win 7 x86? kak se ponaša? Ima li ko kakvih iskustava s integrušama i ovim driverima (serija 3400?)

Nema to veze s HD akceleracijom, to kaj ti pokušavaš je vezano za korištenje GPU snage u svrhu kodiranja i konvertiranja, a AMD je u više navrata objasnil da njihov Stream Converter još uvijek dobrim dijelom koristi CPU, dok GPU "uskače" samo u određenim dijelovim cijelog procesa konvertiranja. HD akceleracija koju sam spomenul, je mogućnost da GPU na sebe preuzme dekodiranje HD materijala (serije, filmovi i sve slično tome), tak da se ne troše sistemski resursi, već da GPU cijeli posao odradi sam uz minimalno zauzeće procesora.

Da sad opet bezveze ne vrtim jedno-te-isto (jer mi se ne da) ovo je HD akceleracija, a za primjer bude poslužil moj malo stariji post...
U biti pošto se uvijek nađe (po)koji Nevjerni Toma:), da ne bi bilo da mlatim praznu slamu...

Kolega em-ce-ge:p je pričao o reprodukciji HD materijala (i to matroske) a ne o nekom tam niškoristi konverteru:)

Iz prve sam u MPC sredio da koristi DXVA i radi kao urica :p

A baš mi stiže Q9550 E0, dammit! :p

HD slobodno ostavi grafi, sa procom buš tak-i-tak vrtil 06, Vantage i SuperPi:)

Je, baš ja - aj mi nađi Pi skor ovdje i pogledaj datum :p

Ne, taj CPU će biti od velike koristi pri čitanju maila i browsanju :lol2:

Ma dobro bude quad došel ako AMD opet "sredi":D akceleraciju u kojoj od sljedećih verzija drivera.:)

Štedim struju pa se prebacio na 45nm, moramo pazit na ekologiju :D

Dosta smo zaspamali, bolje da se držimo teme:)

ja sam jos na 8,11 ne idem na nove dok ne izdaju nesto revolucionarno
Revolucije nidje na vidiku pa ostajem konzerva :D

Stavio sam ove nove drivere i novi PowerDVD 9 (kad je bal nek je bal:D) pa budemo videli...za sad sve dela fino:)

Mogu pohvalit drivere, super rade, nema nikakvih bugova pogotovo kod CF.
Igre rade super a cak sam u 3dmarku dobio 100 bodova vise :lol2:

Idem ih staviti reda radi :p

Evo ja imam problema s 9.2, 9.3 i 8.12.

Imam BSOD po ulasku u windows xp x64, s 2x3870. S 9.1 i 8.11 radi normalno.
Problem je koliko vidim poznat i na ATI forumu ali je to nešto što ni u 9.3 nisu riješili.

Rade kaj vurica,cak vise nema GPU Recoverya :D

E kad smo vec kod problema, u hawx-u mi se na 800/1000 i na def. taktovima znalo da nakon 5min igre mi se freeza slika, ja napravim alt+ctrl+delete i dođem u desktop i onda nakon 10sec pocnu pucat teksture u desktopu i javi se vpu recover i moram resetirat comp.
Sa 9.3 driverima to jos nisam primjetio, a ovo je bilo sa 9.2 driverima.

O-ho, sad čak šljaka i .mkv sa MPC HomeCinema:)
