Čemu tako malo SATA porteva?
Trebali su naštancat 12 - 20 SATA porteva ili neku kombinaciju sa SAS... također, SATA3.

2 bi bila dovoljna, za 2 SSDa u Raid0 :D

Zato sto racunaju da ce korisnici nabavljati ovakve stvarchice.

Znaci 32 SATA diska po kontroleru, pomnozeno sa 3 slobodna PCI slota (u slucaju da se ide na Quad-VGA setup), plus 8 onboard ... to je nekakvih 100 diskicha :)

tako je, da je po mom nebi bilo na takvim matičnim ničeg integriranog (on board) osim onog šta je intgrirano na nb/sb, samo smeta i dodaje cijenu

ploca koja je veca od eatx-a i nema nista integrirano? pa to onda mora imati pola pcb-a prazno.

Onaj tko si prousti tu plocu sigurno ga nece zanimat 24/7 rad, a kamo li koliko ce diskova moc spojit na nju, sve u svemu odlicna ploca za rusenje svijetskih rekorda :)

This dual socket motherboard will be tested at three stages, air, liquid-cooling and liquid nitrogen.

Currently we are at stage two, liquid cooling. And with a bit of luck stage three Liquid Nitrogen tests will be completed this week. Beaux had to wait on the H2O blocks + some extra pots where needed for the LN2 tests as the man, the legend himself, will use seven! LN2 pots, two for the CPUs, one for the chipset and four for the four GeForce GTX 480 graphics cards ;)

The results this far and the photo's we took are short from amazing. Even on air or for that matter liquid cooling this setup is pulling numbers that are ridiculous.

Take Sandra for example, the CPUs at 4.6 GHZ produce awesome numbers

A Phenom II X6 1090T would produce 70k Gips

A core i7 975 would produce 88k Gips

A Core i7 980X would produce 126k Gips

Beaux smoking rig at this moment produces 395k Gips (!)

For this setup we now use two Xeon X5680 processors, each with 6 cores and this 12 threads. Giving this system 12 physical cores and 24 hyperthreaded. A lot of software, including the most benchmarks can't even deal with that many cores.

U jednom trenu SLI vuče skoro 500W više od CF-a

da u jednom trenu :) vise puta , cak je vukao i vise od 500W

Ne kuzim ja cemu takav test? tj. cemu tstiraje u benchmarku koji nemoze prepoznati vise od 16 threadova a ovaj setup ima 24 threada ? Prakticki testiraju jedan i pol procesor umjesto dva i to ond ausporede sa 980x kojem kuzi svih 12 threadova :(.

znaci testiraju da budu cool :D

mislim da se neka očita razlika jedino u 3dmark vantageu vidi s tim procesorima
