This weapon, known as a worlds first assault rifle, was developed in Hitlers' Germany during the World War Two. Initial development took place under the designation of MKb.42 - MachinenKarabine, 1942. The experimental MKb's were developed by two german companies, Karl Walther (MKb.42(W)) and C.G.Haenel (MKb.42(H)). Both guns were intended as a replacement for submachine guns, bolt action rifles and, partly, light machineguns for front troops. Both guns were designed to fire intermediate (between rifle and pistol) cartridge, and have effective range of 600 meters or so. The 7.92mm Kurz cartridge, developed by Polte company, propelled 8.1 g (125 grains) bullet to rougly 680 meters per second.

After initial trials the MKb.42(H), designed by Hugo Schmeisser, was found superior of two, and further development took place under the name of MP-43 (MachinenPistole, 1943, to avoid Hitlers opposition to made anything but SMGs). Some MP-43s were issued to troops at western front, and field reports were very promising. Final version appeared under the designation of Mp-44, and then Hitler finally approved it, but the new gun received also a new designation - SturmGevehr-44, which stands for no more than "Assult Rifle" in german language. This was pure act of propaganda, but the name stuck not only to that gun, but to the whole new class of automatic weapons, designed to fire intermediate cartridges. Total number of MP-43s, MP-44s and StG.44s produced was about 500 000, and these guns proved itself as wery effective, but not withouth some flaws. After end of the war the direct development of the Stg.44 was stopped, but some remained guns were used by East Germany.

The StG.44 is a gas operated, selective fire weapon. The receiver and trigger housing with pistol grip are made from steel stampings. Trigger housing with pistol grip is hinged to the receiver and folds town for disassembly. Gas drive utilises long piston stroke, and bolt is tipped down to lock into the receiver. Gun is fired from the closed bolt (unlike the early Mkb.42(H) which fired from the open bolt). Also, MP-43 and further versions all were hammer-fired, while MKb.42(H) was striker-fired. Charging handle is attached to the gas piston rod, ejection port has a dust cover. Recoil spring is located inside the wooden butt. Handguard were made of stamping.

By the modern standards, the StG.44 was too heavy, it was not too comfortable to fire from prone positions, the butt attachment was not too strong and could be easily damaged in hands-to-hands combat, but it was the FIRST gun of its class, and it was more effective than SMG.

Moram kazat kako je nevjerovatno kao ovaj mitraljez skida u igri...u usporedbi sa thompsonom ili PPS-om! Nije normalno da na daljinu NE skida nista losije nego puska... : stoopid Ako nisanis njime...

zahtjevam mod!! kad me neko opandrči kundakom od MP44, puška se raspada i igrač ostaje bez oružja dok ne nađe drugo! ;)

Jasno da bolje skida na daljinu, jer su i Thompson i PPSh submachine guns, ili ti podpuškomitraljezi ili ti na hrv. automati. otvoreni zatvarač sa statičnom udarnom iglom, koriste pištoljsko zrno ( 9mmMP40, 7.62PPSh), manje su precizni a otovreni zatvarač je magnet za prašinu blato i sl, uz to imam amnu da kad puška paden na pod zna sama opaliti.

MP44 je druga stavr ima zatvoreni zatvarač s pomičnom udarnom iglom, dužu cijev, te rade na pricipu izmjene plinova a ne na principu slobodnog trzaja zavarača, koriste skraćeno ili normalno pušćano zrno ( 7.62×39mmAK 47, odnosno 7.62×51mm Heckler&Koch G3, FN Fal, te danas 5.56 NATO Heckler&Koch G5 i 5.45Rusija Novi AK). Zbog zrna koje koriste imau veći domet a zbog sistema veću preciznost od automata.

Zašto se sada koristi manji kalibar zbog dva razloga, puška je lakša, te zbog dokritine da se ranjavanjem vojnika iz strioja ozbacuje bar dva vojniak dok se s ubijanjem izbacje smao jedan. Tako su to objanili mom frendu U Bundeswehru. Nedostatak je da je zrno puno slabije te da je potrošnja strljiva kod nečistog terena veća, ( manja masa i snaga, te zrno bude lakše skrenuto s predviđene putanje).

The PPSch-41 (Pistolet Pulemjot Schpagina model of 1941 = Shpagin submachinegun) was one of major infantry weapons of the Soviet troops during the World war 2. Total number of PPSch's manufactured during WW2 estimates to more than 6 millions. The gun became one of the symbols of the Great Patriotic War. Retired from Soviet Army service soon after the WW2, the PPSH was widely exported to some pro-Soviet countries arount the world, including Vietnam and many African countries.

The PPSch-41 was designed as a cheap and simple but effective war-time weapon. It featured simple blowback operated action, fired from open bolt. The striker was permanently fixed in the bolt face. PPSch-41 was a select-fire firearm, with fire selector switch located inside the triggerguard, ahead of trigger. The safety was integrated into the charging handle and locked the bolt in forward or rearward position. The receiver and the barrel shroud was made from stamped steel. The front part of the barrel shroud extends beyound the muzzle and acts as a muzzle brake / muzzle flip compensator. Early PPSch-41's were issued with drum magazines with capacity of 71 round, similar to ones used in PPD-40.
Such high capacity increased the firepower but the magazines were too slow to refill and not too reliable, so in 1942 a curved box magazine was developed. This magazine held 35 rounds and was much more comfortable to carry in pouches. Early magazines were made from .5 mm sheet steel and were somewhat unreliable. Later magazines were made from 1 mm steel and were completely satisfactory.
Usually, infantrymen carry one drum in the gun and some box magazines in the pouches or pockets.

Early guns featured elevation-ajustable rear sights, later ones flip-type "L"-shaped rear sights marked for 100 and 200 meters range.

All PPSch-41s featured hardwood stocks.

The main advantage of the PPSch-41 was bigger effective range (when compared to both Allies and Axis submachineguns of that era). It also was accurate enough and reliable. The main drawbacks were: heavy weight, lenght (too big for trench combat or for mobile operations) and the fact that the gun was sometimes prone (especially when weared enough) to unintended fire when dropped.

uz rizik batina, al meni osobno koji igram loše prislni RO ide naqurac. prislni po time da se nemre glasat o tome dal se želi promijeniti, nego se mora čekat admin koji nije uvijek u mogućnosti da se to promijeni.

RO shvati kao trening - osobno ja ne volim TDM a bogme mi se i S&D zgadil ali... S&D ću još i igrat, TDM uvijek preskočit....

MM treba izmislit neki mod . Tako da recimo cim krenes igrat da pocnes gubit helath (kao da ima kugu ili nesto tako malo bolesnije : roller : ) i onda treba igrat s&d , to je ljek protiv svih kempera : goood :

ja sam skenao oko 00:00 pa je bilo par ljudi gore, a ja mrtav, pa sam išao spavat.

Ja sam isel oko 1h spavat i onda ujutro budjenje u 6h jer sam imal kolinje :D Bar su bila friska jetrica i pečenjke :rolleyes:

Ja sam svratija oko 2ipo pa nije nikoga bilo... Pa san igra ping pong sa bombama! :D Zasto se nije nakon postignutog scora od 12:0 okrenila nova mapa ili ista od pocetka nego je ostalo jos tako i dalje.... :(
