Photoshop test, rezultati
evo jednog dobrog testa da usporedimo sve te opterone,athlone, pentiume...
sve što vam treba je Photoshop, po mogučnosti CS2. Nije bitno jel je trial verzija ili full.

Test: Otvorite priloženu sliku u photoshopu, pod Filter izaberete Blur zatim Radial Blur
Amount stavite na 100, Quality na Best
te izmjerite potrebno vrijeme za radial blur

nakon bubbinog savjeta za mjerenje vremena rezulat je malo veči, znači isključivo postajte vrijeme dobiveno iz photoshopa.

Rezultat: 64,2 sekunde

Konfa: A64 Venice 3000+, 2600Mhz 2x512Mb DDR500

btw. mojem amd-u 2000xp i 512ddr-a treba tak dugo, da sam u međuvremenu stigel obaviti telefonski razgovor ii napraviti cijeli vrc soka.. tocnije 2 minute i 49sekundi...

Lijepo se vidi razlika izmedju athlon 64 i starijih XP i Bartona.
Sad bi bilo lijepo vidjet i neki DUAL CORE rezultat.

vidim kamo ciljaš ovime. ali kaj je tu čudno, istina i bog nemre si svatko priuštiti photoshop ali 330mb može odvojiti zar trial...

zašto bi bili nemeritorni, posve jednostavno, jedna real world aplikacija koju koju večina koristi skoro svaki dan. možda mu nije namjena benchmark ali odlično služi svrsi komparacije na ovaj način kak je priloženo.

dobro si se sjetil za mjerenje vremena, svaka čast. još da baciš neke rezultate... ne bi bilo na odmet pogotovo ak imaš kojeg xeona..

about sports or politics or rhetoric.
Such things are of no consequence to him.
What matters is the release date of the next Lord of the Rings movie!

141,7s u photoshopu. Interesantno da stoperica daje rezultat od "samo" 125s. Ali ja mislim da to ipak nije lose za dva durona 1100.

Hmda, zivo me zanima koliko je ovdje ljudi ikada vidjelo trial PS-a...

Zato sto koristis/te krivi pattern. Ono sto je najucinkovitije kod ovakvog tipa testa je 50MB veliki TIFF, 4180x4180px@300 px/inch, 8bit RGB, bez kompresije. Nakon toga, na njega se nanese 100% uniformnog nemonokromatskog noisea, te se na takvoj "slici" rade testovi. Osim toga, to rezultati uvelike ovise o podesenoj memoriji, scratch disku, kolicini pluginova, updateovima i slicno...

Slazem se, ali vam je metodika kriva.

Rezultate "bacam" svaki dan i uopce mi nisu toliko bitni niti presudni. Uvijek mi je draze gurati PS na Indyju nego na najjacem PiCeku...

BTW, IIRC, postoje predefinirani actioni u PS-u koji glume "benchmarke". Ne da su ista kvalitetniji, ali mozete standardizirati (barem donekle) testove.

Sve je na defaultu osim grafičke koje je malo dignuta (460/1100), sistem je instaliran na 2x80Gb Hitachi SATAII diskovima u RAID0 polju , memorija je dualchannel 2.5-4-4-8 1T na 200Mhz i radi sinhrono sa CPU (radila je neko vrijeme na 2-3-3-6 1T 200Mhz ali sam par puta dobio 'blue screen' pa sam vratio na default. S obzirom da komp radi skoro 24/7 bitnija mi je stabilnost nego minorno poboljšanje performansi). Svi ventovi su preko Aerogate1 spušteni na 7V (uključujući i onaj na grafičkoj kartici) , temperature su 30-34C CPU, 33C nforce4, 38-54C GPU, 22-26C diskovi.

I probably appear to be a somewhat ordinary,
somewhat average looking fellow.
Calm, harmless, at ease.

But this is by design.
You see, it is through decades of research and rigorous training that I have crafted this façade of normalcy.

The obsessive science fiction movie watching,
comic book collecting,
Monty Python dialogue memorizing,
Dungeons and Dragons playing GEEK
that I struggle daily to keep hidden from the world.

But The Geek Wants Out.

He want to talk to you.
He wants to give you his doctoral dissertation on why
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
is the greatest fucking film of all time!

He wants to bitch slap you because
you’ve never seen Big Trouble in Little China.
What? Have you been living in a fucking cave?!

He wants to kick your ass in Star Wars Trivial Pursuit.
And he will.
Because he’s a fucking Geek.

And he wants his toys.
He wants the complete set
in mint condition,
still in the box.
He wants every item on the planet that is even remotely related to Ultraman.
Because Ultraman is Airwolf!

He could give a squirt of piss
about sports or politics or rhetoric.
Such things are of no consequence to him.
What matters is the release date of the next Lord of the Rings movie!

You see, The Geek can’t wait.
The Geek has no patience.
He wants what he wants when he wants it.
And all he wants is stupid shit!

He wants his own Tardis.
He wants his own light saber.
He wants to buy a DeLorean and he wants to drive it 88 miles per hour.

He wants movies.
He wants to see the Director’s Cut.
He wants the impossible to find Japanese bootleg with
6 minutes of never-before-seen footage.

He wants to watch Blade Runner. Again.
He wants to watch Brazil. Again.
He wants to watch A Clockwork Orange.
Again and Again!

But I deprive him of these things, as best I can,
until I can no longer ignore his voice
screaming in my head.

I am Jekyl. He is Hyde.
I am Bruce Banner. He is the Hulk.
Especially the Hulk from issues #272 to #378.

But no longer!
I am putting a stop to all this nerdy shit right now!
I’m an adult, for Christ’s sake!
And this body isn’t big enough for the both of us.
One of us has to go, and it’s gonna be him.
I banishing the Geek forever to the Phantom Zone,
just like in Superman II !

ili neki link odakle ga skinuti. dobro, nek ne bude 50mb, ali bar par MB-a...

Ono sto je najucinkovitije kod ovakvog tipa testa je 50MB veliki TIFF; 4180x4180px@300 px/inch, 8bit RGB, bez kompresije. Nakon toga, na njega se nanese 100% uniformnog nemonokromatskog noisea, te se na takvoj "slici" rade testovi.

N'dobro, sad sam se sjetio da mozete odvrtiti jos pokoji zanimljivi testic, kao sto je Arbitary rotate 9°, unsharp mask 50% 10 pixel level 5, NTSC colors, pointillize (preporucam, dosta zgodno)...
