Igra mi ne izgleda lose, barem na prvi pogled. No, postoji jedan problem, a to je (ne)optimiziranost. Recimo, dobio sam gro SD-Rama prije par dana i par grafa - provided by NoBody (Radeon 9000/9200 serija) Slozio 2 kante, (1. celer 900, 512MB ram, 9200 128MB, 2. celer 633, 512MB, 9250 12MB/64bit) Multiplayer COD2 najslabija kanta vrti na 20-40FPS na medium/low postavkama (1440x900 reza) kaj je ok za LAN party zezanciju. Sad jedan dan treba to sve sredit, a nema se vremena jer skoro nikad nije sva ekipa doma. Inace nevjerujem da ce se COD4 uopce pokrenut na takvim kantama. Kuzim, nova je igra, treba nove kante i tak da ni ne ocekujem da se vrti na starim kantama, ali samo da kazem zast mi se vise svida COD 2.

@atha ma lako za te zidove(i onako se nece moci kroz sve rokati i ovisno koje ces oruzje imati), nego je li tko primjetio kolicinu detalja recimo na livadi kada se snajperista buksa u grmlju... jako impresivno za SINGLE player na netu je to totalni srot, sto ces dode netko sa slabijim kompom koji nema te detalje a ti bas nasao neku buksu... bas me zanima kako ce to optimizirati...

Da postoji problem optimiziranosti - postoji ali bespredmetno je o tome pričati sa slabim/starim hardwerom. I COD 2 je ima DX9 pa je slabo tko igra u tome jer gubi........ plus loša je bila optimizacija. I ja se nadam da će ovaj puta izbacit gotov proizvod a ne poluproizvod. Kak bilo da bilo ja se predbilježio....

Čuj svi mi imamo loša iskustva sa hakerima pa sad pušemo i na hladno.... Ali za probu uzmi kalju, reci frendu da se sakrije iza sanduka i ofrlji po sanduku - mislim da baš nebu preživil Ni ja se ne slažem sa pretjranom realnošću ali neke stvari treba popravit - u COD-u 2 se sakriješ iza plota i mg42 ti nemre niš a bunny hoper može skočit iza prepreke i ruknut ti headshoot preko mape Treba nači zlatnu sredinu - valjda bu što bliže tome..... A kaj se tiče modernih ratova i WWII - WWII nije ni izbliza do kraja obrađen jer se nije vodio u tri francuska sela i dva ruska grada.... Ma nek je i Pacifik samo nek je WWII. Da su bar uzeli COD2 i razradili/popravili to do kraja koristeči ovaj novi engine - tak i tak SP i MP ne moraju imat veze jedno sa drugim. Citiraj:

Razgovor sa jednim poznatijim Cod2 igracem koji je testirao CoD4 : Fuchsstute tests CoD4: Kenneth "fRiJec" Jensen: What was your initial impression of CoD4 after the first few minutes, compared to CoD2? Enrico "Fuchsstute" Ausborn: I really enjoyed playing Call of Duty 4. The graphics were impressive and I liked that they didn't change that much of the gameplay. The weapons have more recoil and you can shoot through walls. The maps aren't as large as I expected them to be, they're similar to CoD2. Are there many major changes to the HUD? How do the physics work with recoil, sprinting, leaning, throwing grenades, crosshair, jump shooting and so on? They changed not that much at the basic HUD. The radar shows the whole map with red dots when the opponent makes sounds. I played 45 minutes TDM and after three kills in a row, I got the chance to get a special radar or something like that. After I used it, all opponents were shown as red dot at the radar. After I had five kills in a row, I got the airstrike. By pressing 7 I got the whole map on the screen. With the mouse I chose the location, where I want to use the airstrike. Both features can be very tactical, but I don't know if they're the right thing for competition. I played with some different weapons. Two different snipers, one like the fg42 - zoom and three shots in a row. The other sniper was similar to the sniper in Call of Duty 2. It's still possible to steady the scope by holding your breath. I hit some shots with the AK47, it was like Counter Strike. Furthermore there was an SMG, which was like the Thompson. Mostly I played with a machinegun, like the Counter Strike gun for the CT's, (I don't know the name of it). Head-shots are even possible. The sprinting feature was a bit buggy in this version. It was possible to press the sprint key many times in a row, so I felt like an athlete. Anyway it's a nice feature! It's not possible to throw the grenades that far like in Call of Duty 2. The grenade's explosion is much bigger than in Call of Duty 2. You can destroy cars by using it. They still have a grenade indicator. The crosshair was a bit bigger than in CoD2, but it still gets bigger when you move around. What about the more competitive aspect of it? What were the maps like, how many weapons can be carried, is it suitable for 5v5 or 6v6? It wasn't possible to carry two primary weapons. You have one grenade besides a pistol and a primary weapon. I just played TDM, so I can only speculate. The airstrike can be a tactical instrument, but I'm not sure because it's too strong. I couldn't use a smoke grenade, but maybe that's because I didn't use the shotgun. I guess the bazooka will be disabled because it seems that this weapon was made for the single player to destroy tanks. There won't be many changes and that's what's good about it. Did the whole weapon and class system feel balanced to you? I have seen there is quite an arsenal to acquire. I didn't recognize that much of the class system. Besides the special radar and the airstrike, I had the possibility to use a night vision device, but I didn't use it. I didn't have a new rank or a better weapon while I played TDM. In terms of a skill gap between good and bad players, do you think CoD4 is more like Call of Duty 1 or 2? I think it's more like Call of Duty 1. The aiming was a bit more difficult and you have more tactical possibilities. The maps looked good and the movement is the same like in CoD2. You played it on a high-spec computer I assume, how did it run? And do you think it is going to be more low-end friendly than CoD2 was? I'm not sure about the hardware of the pc, but I expect it was a high end machine. I asked one of the software engineers and he told me that I played in directx9. He didn't want to tell me, if it could be played with directx7. I think that they will stick to their motto, that players without a high-end machine can play that game, too. Do you think most people will start playing CoD4 instead of CoD2? Or is it more likely it will split the scene totally. In no case! I had so much fun in playing Call of Duty 4. I don't want to play Call of Duty 2 anymore and I feel like a little child before Christmas. This game is a great replacement for Call of Duty 1 and 2. It's a mix between the first two titles with a bit of Counter Strike. The whole scene will move to Call of Duty 4 and the competition gets bigger and bigger. Do you think it will draw attention from other scenes? Call of Duty is already a brand that every gamer knows. CoD has an excellent reputation and punkbuster is already included. That means the competitive gaming can start directly after the release. Because of the nice mix of the first two parts and Counter Strike, I guess many people will like it. This game will set new dimensions. Can you name some pros and cons of COD4? Pros: - Graphics look very great - Punkbuster is integrated - Maps are small - I really like the desert map in Baghdad or something like that - Similar gameplay to CoD2 - Similar interface to CoD2 - New maps, new handling with it - More recoil Cons: - shoot through walls - I'll miss the rifle - I'm skeptical about using the perks Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about the game? Not good. I male mape - WTF? Svevidljivi radari i zračni napadi u MP-u?????? Još samo fali BFG i onda su sve ukakali. Več sam rekao da OK za SP ali sranja u MP - NOT GOOD. Nadam se da je to samo demo ali....... Odo ja na Airborne

Sve ovo sto je Fuchsstute nabrojao ne vjerujem da ce se koristiti u S&D koji se najvise i igra... i u COD:UO je bilo zracnih napada pa se isti nisu koristili u ligama i slicno vec samo na nekim losim publicima.... Metci kroz objekte... Ok bi bilo da moze kroz drvo i neke limove ali kroz ciglu/kamen/beton mi nije bas fora.... sad ce ovi sa WHom moc skidat i kroz zidove bez da te cekaju da izadjes iza njih... Ujedno zanimljivo je procitati i komentare na clanak na gotfrag. Naime u S&D ce biti potrebno pokupiti eksploziv na spawnu i nositi ga do objekta A ili B i plantati i onda ce druga ekipa imati 30sec da ga onesposobi.... Vidjeti cemo sto ce biti... |

Eto, nada je samo u tome da ce neka liga (ClanBase) u SDu srezati ta sranja. A neka po publicima slobodno vrte sve modove koje su vrckasti programeri osmislili. OT: Airborne - probah, jako zanimljiva igra, 04.09. izlazi, definitivno cu joj dati priliku.
