@Lacy..ja vrtim dotičan browser na prescotu 3.0ght, 512rama..ok radi..samo kaj se smrad ruši..taman sam si fino bookmarkse posložio.

Sve u svemu ja zadovoljan sviđa mi se kako su složili certifikate (istoa kao i u IEu) ali me nervira što kao i opera nema opcije za import security uređaja. Tako da se ne mogu igrati s custom postavkama..to je jedina loša strana.

Sada idem dalje prčkati.

edit: i malo sporije idu konekcije prema https stranicama neovisno o tome prepozna li cert.authority ili ne ali dobro ovo je beta

Evo nakon 10 min korištenja na kanti duron 1 GHz, 480 rama, integrirana grafa.

Radi sporo, duže loada stranice nego Opera i FF, moguće jer je to prvi put.
Na Hrv je. WTF.
Inače tabovi i swithcanje ide brzo i dobro.
Scroolanje ide dobro kad izloada cijelu stranicu i nakon par sec radi ok, inače samo skače.
Za beti je solidan, makar sumnjam da ću ga koristit dok ne izađe finalna verzija.

evo isprobah...

radi osjetno brže od ff3 na desktopu...

a da ne pričam da je još veća razlika na asus eee (tam je ff2)...

probal sam raditi sa jedno 10-ak tabova na eee, i radi odlično ... 512mb je u igri tam...

ja sam se vratio na FF, nema nista sto bi me zadrzalo da ga koristim (na google mislim).

mozda kad dode finalna verzija.

Može li netko probati Chrome na slabijoj jednojezgrenoj mašini? Zanima me kako se ponaša sa više tabova jer svaki diže jedan proces.

ovo ce google definitivno morat doradit, jer je malo bezveze da jedan tab dize jedan proces
to im je 'killer feature' jer praktički ne možeš srušiti browser, ako dođe do greške sruši se samo trenutni tab a ostali rade normalno... u najgorem slučaju digneš Chrome task manager (Shift+Esc) i ubiješ tab kao process...

And he wants his toys.

in mint condition,
still in the box.
He wants every item on the planet that is even remotely related to Ultraman.
Because Ultraman is Airwolf!

He could give a squirt of piss
about sports or politics or rhetoric.
Such things are of no consequence to him.
What matters is the release date of the next Lord of the Rings movie!

You see, The Geek can’t wait.
The Geek has no patience.
He wants what he wants when he wants it.
And all he wants is stupid shit!

He wants his own Tardis.
He wants his own light saber.
He wants to buy a DeLorean and he wants to drive it 88 miles per hour.

He wants movies.
He wants to see the Director’s Cut.
He wants the impossible to find Japanese bootleg with
6 minutes of never-before-seen footage.

He wants to watch Blade Runner. Again.
He wants to watch Brazil. Again.
He wants to watch A Clockwork Orange.
Again and Again!

But I deprive him of these things, as best I can,
until I can no longer ignore his voice
screaming in my head.

I am Jekyl. He is Hyde.
I am Bruce Banner. He is the Hulk.
Especially the Hulk from issues #272 to #378.

But no longer!
I am putting a stop to all this nerdy shit right now!
I’m an adult, for Christ’s sake!

Probao sam chorme i moram reć da nije loše. Ja mislim da su njega na pravili za usere koji su novi na internetu kojima netrebaju napredne opcije itd. Plus malo troši memorije i brz je. Sve što treba jedan noob

Probao i obrisao nije los za pocetnike, ali mi se ne sviđa izvedba tabova i premalo opcija, ka sta sipe reče-za pocetnike.. ceka se finalna verzija

Nije loše. Dovoljno brzo, što nije slučajno jer je overdoziran memorijom, pa ja malo na speedu.

Daleko je ovo od web preglednika kakvim ga ja zamišljam. Puno toga nedostaje jer je meni browser kompletan alat a ne samo ono čime gledam pcekspert.

vodite računa do ova prva beta nije ni zamišljena kao kompletno rješenje... ovo je više kao pokazatelj u kojem smjeru će se dalje razvijati (i kao takva stvarno obećava)

a i sami znate da je nakrcano jer su popularna AIO rješenja.

Sama činjenica da je prva (!) chrome beta uopće usporediva sa trečom (!) inkarnacijom firefoxa (i da je pritom u nekim stvarima i brža i bolja) dovoljno govori...
Osim toga da bi FF postigao tu brzinu i uporabljivost potrebno je dosta tweakanja i dodataka dok Chrome to odrađuje 'out of the box'.
Ma sve ok, samo mi je cudno sto se kod mene ta brzina ne vidi. Kao da instalacija nije najbolje sjela. Inace moj FF nije potweakan.

Druga stvar - u vezi potrosnje memorije. Firefox sa 10 tabova - 195mb, Chrome 265mb (kad se zbroje sve instance).
Cak i dosta dugo jede procesor nakon pokretanja, od recimo 5-30%, a uocio sam i neka cudna rostanja po disku od strane chromea koja usporavaju sve skupa do neupotrebljivosti (I/O bytes pokazuje to?).
