People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you, sooner or later, 'cause they own this f*cking place. It's a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. LTSC IoT. ja ni neznam vise za nista drugo od prvog dana otkad koristim win10. pro nemam pojma kako izgleda uopce. olaksajte si ljudi pobogu.

Jedini nedostatak koji vidim kod LTSC IoT je ipak nešto manji gaming performance unatoč činjenicu da je sam OS daleko lakši. Taj 22h2 update koji nedostaje donjeo je niz poboljšanja.
Npr ako se sječate, AMD je to ljeto najavio cijeli niz fixova za loš openGL kroz drivere ali su spominjali i OS updejte, RPCS3 je u 2023 dobio niz Win11 fixeva koji su ispravili niz grafičkih bugova, ti fixevi su "vjerovatno" backportani i u Win10 pro.
Sami testovi pokazuju 5-10% manji fps kod pojedinih igara.

Win11 LTSC IoT isto nema zahtjeve za TPM i secure boot tako da stvarno nema potrebe instalirati prastari Win10. Sve više softvera i igara će prestati podržavati Win10 jer bude EOL uskoro.

Taj Win 10 IoT LTSC fakat jako dobro radi, a taj pad u FPS-ovima meni ne igra ulogu. Ali tu mi se postavlja pitanje kako radi Win 11 IoT LTSC? To je za ovu temu malo ispod.

Ja nemam osobnog iskustva s Win11 LTSC IoT ali koliko sam čitao po stranim forumima OS je daleko manje istinski ogoljen u odnosu na normalni Win11 Pro. Nema Stora itd ali večinom kozmetičke promjene.

Edit: Preduhitrio si me. Koristiš Win 11 IoT LTSC?
Radi sve ok ,koristim zadnjih godinu dana .Igre programi,nema store, nema telemetrije ,ali se može store instalirat uz jednostavne komande kao i neke druge stvari.

Dakle - kaj se Win10 IOT tice - za po doma - da - al firme se mogu sljivit s njim (ionako nitko od vas nece isti nabavit legalnim putem). Kaj se tice Win11 IOT > razlika u odnosu na Pro je fakat marginalna i ne isplati se zahebavat zasad.

W11 je za gamere s AM5 platformom vrlo preporučljiv OS, jerbo se MS nije udostojao da izbaci taj famozni "Branch prediction" patch za W10.

Zanimljiva stvar koju si spomenuo, recimo na Youtube-u Hardware Unboxed i Testing Games su pokazali da je Win11 brži dok Tech Yes City pokazuje suprotno, u podcastu je i Framechasers rekao da još koristi Win10 jer je brži.

U stvarnosti razlika je neprimjetna jer likovi testiraju na rtx4090 i 5800x3D na 1080p rezoluciji što je nerealna kombinacija za 99% ljudi.

Windows 10 remains one of the most robust versions of the operating system, which is why so many users see no reason to switch to Windows 11. However, this month’s KB5053606 update is proving problematic and causing concern for Windows 10 users, reports Windows Latest.

Windows 10 PCs that are still being used in the corporate sector are also experiencing printer problems. Windows Latest quotes one user as saying: “Our clients got KB5053606 yesterday and most could work just fine today, until they did a restart. After a restart, something in the user profile seems to be broken. Print spooler has many issues, like slow loading, programs crashing, and no passthrough into Citrix.”
On the update’s support page, Microsoft has acknowledged the issues with Citrix and USB printers, but none of the other problems. There are no known solutions yet, so if you’re affected, you’ll have to wait for a fix.

HURR DURR CELERON BAD

A nitko se ne pita da je taj isti Celeron N4500 u rangu sa Core 2 Duo procesorima, samo se na njima na starijim verzijama Windowsa right click menu nije otvarao 2 sekunde i sa 100% CPU zauzeća kao na Windows 11.

Očito je objašnjenje za taj problem da W11 ima mnogo napredniji right click menu.

Mda....LTT se zadnjih godina samo srozava , prodana dusa. Za nekog kome treba komp samo za net Celeron je OK - teoretski. To sto za malo vise love ima racunala koji bez problema vrte Win 11 je drugi par opanaka .

Mda....LTT se zadnjih godina samo srozava , prodana dusa. Za nekog kome treba komp samo za net Celeron je OK - teoretski. To sto za malo vise love ima racunala koji bez problema vrte Win 11 je drugi par opanaka .
Neki dan je frend dobro rekel - tko god misli da je web browsanje "lagan" task je zaboravil da danas za surfanje treba jedan od najkompleksnijih i najtežih programa u povijesti sa brojem linija koda ko sam OS na kojem se vrti.

Tak sam nekak i postavil si u glavi - ak hoćeš surfati i gledat YT na miru onda mislim da u zadnje vreme niti i3 / Ryzen 3 nije dost...

HURR DURR CELERON BAD

A nitko se ne pita da je taj isti Celeron N4500 u rangu sa Core 2 Duo procesorima, samo se na njima na starijim verzijama Windowsa right click menu nije otvarao 2 sekunde i sa 100% CPU zauzeća kao na Windows 11.
Podsjetilo me na film Don't Look Up. Tu se doista vidi božanstvo u Apple-u.

Što se tiče otvaranja explorera otvara se instant bez spikea u task manageru, više manje danas bilo koji komp koji ima ssd je adekvatan za većinu potreba.

Neki dan je frend dobro rekel - tko god misli da je web browsanje "lagan" task je zaboravil da danas za surfanje treba jedan od najkompleksnijih i najtežih programa u povijesti sa brojem linija koda ko sam OS na kojem se vrti.

Tak sam nekak i postavil si u glavi - ak hoćeš surfati i gledat YT na miru onda mislim da u zadnje vreme niti i3 / Ryzen 3 nije dost...
Zavisi koji Ryzen 3, ali radi bez problema. Za surfanje i youtube predovoljno.

Evo recimo ovo govanjce je više nego dovoljno za jobito u LibreWolf, dakle moderan browser. Desetak tabova gura bez problema.

Čak mu linkedin najteže pada, taj se site čini zahtjevniji od jobito barem x3, pa se i osjeti usporavanje. E sada, da li je linkedin loše napravljen ili stvarno ima toliko potrebe, teško mi je odgonetnuti

A opet, tko realno ima samo youtube i linkedin u browseru?

Moj stari kaj je tutlek za kompove ima fejs, poker, index, 2-3 search tabova, google docs, whatsapp, gmail upaljen.

Žena ima valjda 50 tabova u edge-u otvoreno, a niš od toga nije plain HTML nego onak, svaki tab je maltene nekakva software platforma u pitanju - LinkedIN, Timesheet, clocifky, par mailova, neke tabele kalendare nemam pojma kaj sve ne. I naravno svi imaju bar jedan YT tab negde.

Da, bu to delalo sa Pentiumom i Celeronom, ali ak hoćeš da dela kak spada onda ipak treba pošten HW, čak i za to "lagano" surfanje. Evo mkey dobro veli, čak jedan LinkedIn site uspori Pentium koji je iznad Celerona, definitivno znak da HW nemre pratiti današnji web koji je eto, takav kakav je (smeće).

Čak bi rekel da kada novi Mac Mini s M4 čipom košta 600ak eura nema smisla gledati nikakve PC konfe osim ak nisu za gaming, pogotovo za prosječnog usera.

Čak bi rekel da kada novi Mac Mini s M4 čipom košta 600ak eura nema smisla gledati nikakve PC konfe osim ak nisu za gaming, pogotovo za prosječnog usera.

U prvih 80% sam samo kimao glavom al ova recenica je debeli samar. Jednostavno - ne. Bilo koji rabljeni mini PC ili Intel NUC sa Intel i5 8thgen barem kojih ima na tone za cca 100 Eura ce bas to odradivati sasvim zadovoljavajuce (i bolje od tih celera i pentiuma). Slazem se da je M4 mocan CPU ali taj bazni Mac Mini za 600 Eura je okrljasten po pitanju diskovnog prostora i memorije bez mogucnosti nadogradnje. Taj Mac za 600 Eura postoji samo da Apple moze izjaviti da kupci mogu dobiti MAC za "samo" 600 Eura. Pa gdje ce svi ti "klasicni" korisnici spremati svoje filmove, mjuzu, slike i ostalo? Kupit dodatan NAS? Kod PC rijesenja barem imaju mogucnost dograditi RAM i Disk ako i kad bude potrebe za tim. Jednostavno ne.

Zadnjih 9 godina jos uvijek aktivno koristim kompove bazirane na intelu gen. 6/7/8 i ne vidim sta im fali za danasnje potrebe. Heck, gen. 6 sam koristio do prije godinu i pol kao osobni desktop i gaming pc, pa kratko presao na gen. 7 (kozmeticke razlike, bacena lova) i zamijenio ga s AM5. I dalje koristim gen. 8. na mini pc i laptopu. Ne vidim nikakve probleme s browsanjem medju 10-20 tabova. Yt je tu nekako najmanji problem sve dok hw akceleracija preuzima posao na sebe. Savrseno sposobne masinice, makar N97/N100 su ih stigli i presisali za isto tako malo para.

Za 600 eura bi uzeo neki random aktualni upgrejdabilni hw i za kusur odveo zenu par dana u toplice

Koristim aktivno laptop sa i5 6300U (2/4), 16gb RAM, 256gb SSD. To malo čudo mi je sasvim dovoljno za skoro sve. Stavljen mi je na better battery tj predzadnji izbor kada je iskopčan punjač (imam 4 opcije za bateriju), a na punjaču prefer performance. Koristim Brave, tu i tamo media xcode i handrbake. Za ova dva encodera moram spojit punjač jer tu stvarno šteka, brave radi OK, ali radi def brže i glađe kada se spoji punjač.
I taj mališa mi je kandidat za w10 IOT LTSC i bok. Uz to odigram i neku stariju igru, ili gzdoom mod, npr Selaco radi relativno OK sa low postavkama u 1366x768 50-60FPS (ekran na lapu je 1080p, ali na 14 izgleda OK i 768p). Rade dobro i npr dosbox staging i općenito emulatori do i uključujući PCSX2. Tako da ono....da se krpat po potrebi. E da, grafa je intel integruša, mislim da je HD520.
A općenito mi se na tom lapu skidaju razne stvari i slično....štedim struju.


EDIT: Ali ipak...kada upalim ovog Ryzena iz potpisa, sve leti, sami win rade osjetno brže. Dakle ovo gore je vrlo upotrebljivo kada se navikneš i daje zapravo nenadmašan filing kada se prebacim na desktop.

Reci to ovim mojim gelipterima. Jedan ima cca 2TB "DokUmeNtaRaca" u 4K formatu (jer se sveee mora videti i mora imat ostru sliku - na fullhd telki), drugi misli da ce internet sutra pasti pa je povukao svu mogucu mjuzu koju slusa ili ripao CD-e koje skuplja zadnjih 30 godina "just in case" u WAV formatu (kazem puko ko kruska...ili nije) ...ima toga cca 4 TB ak se ne varam - plus sve moguce slike od RAW do jpeg formatu familije i rodbine ili uostalom moja draga koja vec 9 godina ne brise nista od slika, dokumenata ili mjuze (zasad je 2TB dovoljno za backup ). Tu bi Cloud bio malo skup (zato imaju netflix/spotify vecinom samo) :P Ja sam pak se opeko kad sam mislio da ce mi 1TB SSD biti dovoljan u novom lapu za mene i klinca. Bemti sta su igre porasle, klinac me totalno izgurao sa svojim sadrzajem, sad ja jadnik moro uzet jos jedan M.2 SSD (i dobro da mogu jos jedan ugradit i lap) .
